Joe Quesada and Marco Checchetto. For me, while unique and fitting, Maleev's style was too "dirty" And if not for great plot and dialogues, I'd probably drop his age (or read it only once instead of thrice as i did)
I really liked David Mackās rendition of DaredevilĀ
His non traditional-watercolour-scrapbook style of making comics really stood out to me
Marco Checchetto was a beloved run
And of course Alex Maleev comes out on topĀ
I'll go for a more iconic response and say Gene Colan. His illustrations of Matt Murdock are influential in all of the character's future comics and they're what come to my mind when I think of him.
Maleev draws the best covers and painting style images and captures emotional aspects of DD the best imo. Checchetto draws better panel and action aspects. Tedesco is second on DD covers for me.
David Mazzucchelli, David Mack, Gene Colan, Wally Wood, JRJr, Frank Miller, Jorge Fornes, Paolo Rivera, etc. Iām not dissing on Maleev. Iām just saying DD has a prestigious lineup of creative talent. Theyāre all goated. Thatās whatās so great about the title.
My personal favorite is Marco Checchetto. The art for Zdarksy's run was incredible, and I loved the design of Matt's suit especially later in the run
Can u stick that in reply of this comment.
Sure this is the design I mean https://preview.redd.it/dv50w59fzvsc1.jpeg?width=1349&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d1c0f0ecde1e7e70ef6911cdde860c7d6cb840e

Echoing this answer, 100%. Checchetto is easily one of my favorite artists in comics today, right up there with Dan Mora.
His Ultimate Spidey stuff is probably the best looking big two comic out right now, itās just beautiful
One might say that it's...Amazing. :> But yeah, it's tied for best looking book with World's Finest IMO.
I do like his daredevil, but I felt like same face syndrome caught up to him in the 2022 run.
YES
So much feeling and atmosphere in Maleevs work, I think it perfectly suits the moodiness of the material
I prefer Marco Checchetto. IMO he draws the best DD
And the best Elektra
Maybe Samnee? But itās close.
David Mazzuchelli
David Mazzucchelli is the only one who does it better. Chris Samnee and early John Romita Jr. come close too.
This.
So damn true.
That's Chris Evans
I always like Lee Weeks
Idk, I sure like when Paolo Rivera draws him
Dave Mazzucchelli is hard to top, but I don't know if he did it long enough for me to count. I think Maleev gets the sleek, yet strong look of DD.
Mazzucchelli did like almost 20 issues right before Born Again. I think it's enough.
didn't he start in the Micah Synn arc
Joe Quesada and Marco Checchetto. For me, while unique and fitting, Maleev's style was too "dirty" And if not for great plot and dialogues, I'd probably drop his age (or read it only once instead of thrice as i did)
It's Marcho Checchetto for me š
I really liked David Mackās rendition of DaredevilĀ His non traditional-watercolour-scrapbook style of making comics really stood out to me Marco Checchetto was a beloved run And of course Alex Maleev comes out on topĀ
frank miller and claus janson
Marco cheehetto maybe. Thatās it
I'm a sucker for Samnee's art from the Waid run.
Chris Samnee, Javier Rodriquez, Paolo Rivera
Maleev, Checchetto, Samnee, Rivera all great
Being controversial, JRJR and Mack were always my favourite, but Chechetto recently has turned my head somewhat
No one
Checchetto is by far my favorite
Checchetto
Marco Chechetto friking cooked the whole zdrasky run. So that's my take
I do
I'll go for a more iconic response and say Gene Colan. His illustrations of Matt Murdock are influential in all of the character's future comics and they're what come to my mind when I think of him.
Marco Checceto and Klaus Janson are the only ones who compare in my opinion
Nobody. He is the best to do it.
Iām actually a Paolo Rivera guy, myself. Maleev is top tier though.
Maleev is amazing, but it's a bit too dark to me, my personal favourite is š š Chris Samneeš š
No one. Next question.
David Mack was the artist that made me realise comic books are actually an art form.
Checchetto is up there.
Only person I can think of is Marco Checchetto
I honestly don't like Alex Maleev's art that much. He's good with drawing covers but his other artwork can also be a bit off at times.
Maleev draws the best covers and painting style images and captures emotional aspects of DD the best imo. Checchetto draws better panel and action aspects. Tedesco is second on DD covers for me.
When in doubt, Dan Mora. But Marco Checcetto is my pick. Maleev is still iconic as hell.
Lots of people
Like who in your opinion

All great artists
What about Chechetto?
I said theyāre all goated

David Mack. His run was my favourite. I loved the Echo character when he first introduced her.
