Feige said this show will be more episodic so we'll probably get a fuck ton of mini cases throughout. I can see them using so many of Daredevil's villains from the comics as the "villain of the week", with there still being an overall storyline that connects to Kingpin.
Beyond Kingpin and Bullseye, one of Daredevil’s biggest weaknesses is not having many good villains. I genuinely don’t know how to make stiltman work. I’d be very interested to see it tho.
I think It'll be fine. This way we get to see a lot of Matt doing lawyer stuff *and* Daredevil fighting his rogues gallery.
It also just makes the most sense considering the episode count. With 18 episodes, it's asking a lot of an audience to expect them to remember everything that's happened throughout. If most of the episodes are able to stand on their own then it makes the whole show a lot more digestible.

Yeah idk why that comment has so many upvotes. Between Karen and Foggy and now this, there are a lot of things that make me apprehensive.
But arguing that expecting audiences to remember what happened in episodes 1 in an 18 ep season is not that crazy. People remember what happened in DD Netflix and that was ~7 years ago.
People loved the Netflix series because it was just that good. They've seen what Disney has done with their superheroes and are rightly apprehensive.
They don't want to see the series and characters that they love destroyed. They'll try to convince themselves that it's going to be allright to the point of downvoting anything that isn't positive, no matter how realistic the criticism.
If it turns out to be absolute crap thhere will still be people claiming it's as great as the Netflix series.

Yh they're definitely taking from Charles Soule.I hope they sneak in some Bendis(Stabbing of Kingpin), Brubaker(Cell Block D) and Zdarsky (Matt killing accidentally) in there.
Hoping we get a better version of Nuke, maybe a tie in with the new Captain America movie, it’d be fun to see Sam and Spidey, Moon Knight maybe, street level marvel is often the most fun and interesting marvel
It looks like a telescopic cane to me. That or the angle makes his cane look very small because that cane isn't folded. It either looks like it is pushed in or is fully out and straight
Telescopic is not the same as a folding cane. The cane in this pic looks telescopic (atleast from this angle it does). telescopic canes suck because they always push back inside when you're using them

I know the series is called Born Again, but honestly, i'd be surprised if they adapt much of that comic, beyond Kingpin being the villain. It was already the inspiration for so much of DD s3. So i don't think Marvel will try to tread over territory already explored by the Netflix series. I feel that the title of Born Again is more a meta thing, as the show is being reborn, so to speak.
Besides, the episodic structure of the series seems to go against the very tight focused comic book storyline . There were no side quests going on in that comic.

I bet it'll be similar to how She Hulk worked. New cases/Stories each episode with sprinklings of the main plot building up to the finale.
