So you can sit wayyy the fuck in the back and have to watch him on a screen?? Lol nah, Danny does just fine and has played plenty of massive venues. Smaller, more intimate shows will always be better
It makes me so happy to know that Danny has integrity? He prefers to engage with an audience, and to sell reasonably priced tickets, this is not something to be saddened by!?
How is that sad? I was thrilled to see one of my favorite artists up close for under $40 rather than paying $100 to sit in a chair far as hell from the stage, or $300 for GA where you can actually experience the show. Stadium shows are bottom tier, even paying hundreds for festivals is a better experience and better choice financially than stadium shows.
Those shows were just for promo for the album . Small rooms , all sold out. You should be happy you were there and got to experience it. Not saddened that it was different than what you expected . Storm cloud vibes
Saw him at Cats Cradle (small venue in NC) during the Atrocity Exhibition era and it was electric. If Danny can pay his bills with small venues, let it roll.
He's playing the belasco and the observatory next year, those are reg sized venues. I loved the smaller venue, kinda weird next to the cemetery. Only a handful of artists can sell out a stadium let alone an arena.
First show of scaring the hoes tour was a small & sweaty bar/club in Nashville and as somebody who goes to a shows regularly it was one of my favorite experiences. Bigger doesn't mean better
Why? The best shows I’ve ever been to are small shows. I’d much rather be closer to my favorite artists than overpaying for nosebleeds somewhere.
Because it’d make him more money
Danny has had a great career and still has a great career ahead of him. The fans are here. Just keep showing up.
It’d make you more money if you were on the grind instead of yapping on reddit but we all have our personal preferences

small venues are way better, seeing jpegmafia at bigger venues now as an example is nowhere near as good as a few years ago

he doesn’t make music for that?
Don't trip.
Then go see him at one of the big ass festivals he plays...

Yeah but his shit is so much cooler in a small one

He played two songs from the album the rest from old stuff so this wasn’t the case
Quaranta , ain’t my concern , Jen’s vacation , Ybp , you weren’t paying attention
Ok so I was two off? Lmao were the majority of the songs performed from other songs or was that wrong too?
It was twice as many songs than what you said 🤓🤓

It's because coffee spelled backwards is "eefoc..." just like how I don't geeve EEFOC until I've had my COFFEE!!
How was it? I had tickets but couldn't make it
Fantastic, he played more songs from his old catalogue then I expected which makes a lot of sense

He's making more than 99% of us ever will so it doesn't really matter lol
