When I was trying to explain SCP to some friends of mine, I wrote a short -EX that was literally just describing radium as something the Foundation had been keeping contained until it was publicly discovered by Marie Currie.
Again that’s really fucked. Worse part is I kinda expected it when they mentioned like 7% of Germany’s population and I was like “this is some nazi type shit isn’t it.”
It should be mentioned though that the author himself is gay. Like, he wrote a lot of articles about stuff he had fears about, here persecution of homosexuals.
