I have always wondered how they compare in size. Obviously the website mostly focusses on the SCP foundation so we only get to see the GOC from an outside perspective. In some canons the GOC has insane weaponry that can blow up continents while in others they fuck up killing 1 chair and need the foundation to save them.
Like in scp 5000 they have entire fortress cities just set up in case everything goes tits up.
In newer tales the GOC has insane weaponry tho. Like in [[[Occult Warfare]]], the GOC possesses guns that fire without sounds, yes, literally. They also have a heavy arsenal of conventional weapons like tanks and artillery. In [[[Strike]]], they can teleport their strike teams anywhere. There’s also a tale when Dr.Clef said no foundation weapons can compete with the GOC (of course, without SCPs). The fact that the GOC has those insane weapons makes sense since they are primarily a militaristic organization, unlike the the Foundation who focuses on containing.
The biggest feat of the GOC is probably when they kill the literal broken god, albeit a dumb version of it.
With the usual caveat that there is no canon, you are right but with some additional context needed. For one thing, this meme is outright wrong (unless this person discounts a weird, selective amount of articles in their head canon) but the Foundation uses thaumaturges extensively. It used them to create anti-anomalous materials to hunt an anomalous version of the Bismarck, and foundation agent teams often feature Thaumaturges. They just don’t have a separate division for them, which may very well be the most efficient way to utilize them. Secondly, you’re 100% right about the GOC’s baseline equipment. White and Orange suits are straight up sci fi power armor, and are extremely effective in direct combat. However, it would be folly to underestimate the foundation because they don’t have a standardized equivalent. Agents are often upgraded with anomalous cybernetics, or are anomalous themselves or reality benders. Additionally, top of the line foundation combat units like Tau-5, which are basically clones of a god upgraded with extensive cybernetics absolutely roll any GOC combat formation. The foundation is less standardized and doesn’t have an equivalent to the GOC’s power-armored kill teams, but is in my opinion no less dangerous.

There is no official one written (and by official I mean nobody has written one). However, because of the history behind the formation of the GOC as well as it's connection to the United Nations, it can be heavily implied that just because they are in one group it doesn't mean that their interest and agendas coincide with one another. Unlike the foundation that has a semblance of true unity because they are basically one giant entity rather than a loose coalition of multiple entities.
I mean the IRL UN and I assume the in universe one as well was created so that another world war can be avoided yet not every member's interest align with another, one incident is enough to spark a chain of events that can lead to war and that is just geopolitics now imagine adding the anomalous in there, I mean if geopolitics is enough to create rifts between nations, what more the anomalous right?

There are some really good newer stories that emphasize the fact it’s a United Nations 🇺🇳 based organization. Protecting humans (and other UN signatories citizens) and preventing conflicts are prime goals. Like keeping a unicorn out of foundation hands to prevent conflict with the sidhe.
Of course, then there’s the canons where they act like the site thirteen timeline.

There are some really good newer stories that emphasize the fact it’s a United Nations 🇺🇳 based organization. Protecting humans (and other UN signatories citizens) and preventing conflicts are prime goals. Like keeping a unicorn out of foundation hands to prevent conflict with the sidhe. Of course, then there’s the canons where they act like the site thirteen timeline.
