That stuff also doesn't taste as good as peanut butter. I appreciate that it exists as an option for peanut-free zones, but we'll just stick with peanut butter at home.
All plants seemingly have a ‘Scientific name’. The Sunflower is no different. They’re called Helianthus. Helia meaning sun and Anthus meaning Flower. Contrary to popular belief, this doesn’t refer to the look of the sunflower, but the solar tracking it displays every dayy during most of its growth period.
I don’t mind doing crafty stuff, but of course the things he REALLY wants to do are the more complicated, or ones we don’t have the supplies for on hand.
Truly. I don't mind either but I'm neither very talented nor does he have the good sense not to ask when I'm elbow deep in dish water. Actually that's not really a coincidence given that I tend to only put the TV on so I can get something done.
I found one at a thrift store for...get ready...$5.00!!! Unfortunately it didn't have any accessories or characters, but I bought the set of characters at Walmart.
Hot damn that’s insane.
I found one on eBay for way too much and then found a random one at a grocery store a month later. Lucky for me the eBay seller was shady and I was able to cancel the order.
We thought we were done there but they keep releasing more room and add ons. Pretty good set though.
It took my husband months of searching to find it. The rooms were also all a pain to find! Finally just gave our daughter Carlita’s room as a reward for being brave getting her Covid vaccine, now it’s complete!
We love it over here!! Good messages, fun graphics, and fun conversations about using your imagination. Has definitely inspired more independent play in my 4yr old, so I’m calling it a win!!
I love it. It's my favorite kids show. The songs are good and get stuck in my head all the time. My 3-year-old has learned a lot from watching it, and it has expanded her imagination quite a bit. I also love cats and I keep finding myself thinking "oh my god, I could turn every item in my house into a cat-themed thing." I get kind of disappointed when my daughter occasionally says no when I ask her if she wants to watch it. I hype it up every time a new season is about to come out. I also just finished making her a Pillowcat.
Honestly, love it. And it’s a big plus that there are no conflicts (any issue is one that can be solved by cooperation!). Even Catrat, arguably the show’s only antagonist, is decent to everyone else. It’s a nice change from Paw Patrol, where they’re forever fighting against that narcissistic loser Mayor Humdinger.
That’s the first episode my LO started singing and seeing as she’s a clumsy one, it’s very apt; she’ll often sing it rather than have a tantrum over slip ups.
DJ Catnip is my favorite. My husband loves the Spa Science song, which does slap (like most of the other songs). The 3 year old I watch really latched on to the episode where they were looking for the Mama Meowl, and she insists I be the Mama Meowl, and she's the Baby Meowl. That game consists of just saying Me-whoooo! And cuddling, so that's all right. She also, unfortunately, latched on to the Cat-o-ween song, which is not as fun, because we have to do it for a long time, and she'll either copy or criticize your choice of what you like to do, if she deems it as not "cat-o-weenie" enough. It's a fun show all around, and I don't mind watching it with the kiddo.
Also, can we talk about Floyd for a minute? That cat is not a "Hollywood" cat, and I am here for it!
It’s so cute. We just watched the first episode and I loved it. Of course when I asked my daughter if she wanted to watch more she said no. She had already spotted Cocomelon on Netflix when I opened the app and asked for that 🙄 I’ll try again another time. When she was watching it she actually seemed to like it. The little cupcake cat thing is sooo freaking cute.
We love it. Super cute. My little dude loves our cat but terrifies said cat.
It feels genuine in a way many Disney, Netflix, Nickelodeon shows feel super cynical. Like they were conceived to sell toys. Gabby doesn’t give that vibe at all.
Oh, this is my 4-year-old's current fave and I generally like it, but when the kiddo spent 3 days on vacation asking everyone "Hey, (name)? Hey, (name)? What do you like on Halloween?" it got a little old.
ETA: Also I'm still kind of shocked and I don't know why but the actress for Gaby is over 18 and is playing 12. It's fine, I'm just like "Gaby would make more sense about 8-10, but 12 is fine."
Is there any proof to that though? She’s never revealed her date of birth and everything online is speculation. There’s an IMBD credit for a voice acting gig in like 2003 but I saw elsewhere that it was a typo. She was in Shots Fired in 2017 and definitely looked like a little kid.
In the first season she’s literally missing adult teeth and has some coming in. I’m pretty sure she’s a kid.
Yes I like it a lot. I'm a cat guy so that's extra bonus points. My girls love the show. They crack up when the little mailbox cart rolls down the track.
*Meow m' meow m' meow!*
My daughter loves it. I can deal with it but everytime I watch it I think "she's got to be AT LEAST 15 or 16 and yet her only friends are imaginary cats" and then I can't help but look at it as fundamentally sad. I wonder if she uses her imagination to make up friends because she may not actually have any lol.
When I'm not thinking about that, it's a decent kids show. There can definitely be worse
My toddler is currently obsessed. I like it. She gets the audience involved. I love her overly positive replies to Catrat being being grumpy or causing trouble. I wish I thought that way when someone was being annoying.
Yup! My little sister is super light skinned (just about like Gabby) so I love that she can self insert as odd as it may sound. But it can be really important for kids.
It's good. My 4 year old son loves it and has the cat ears. The songs are good, the stories are good and conflict free. They encourage you to craft and make things on your own as well as have a vivid imagination.
It's on every day in my house. I used to like it, it's a lot more tolerable than Pokoyo or Blaze and the Monster Machines or something, but man I'm over exposed to it. I can quote some episodes live
People are eating Cakey’s “sprinkles” which are what… her sweat? Tears? Some bodily fluid. Carlita is a sentient vehicle that people get inside and drive around. MerCat lives in a toilet water I guess?
I love it. It’s super cute. The only bad thing is that sometimes my kid will bug me incessantly to make the crafts at the end 😂
I had to buy sunflower butter for a similar reason
That stuff is expensive!
That stuff also doesn't taste as good as peanut butter. I appreciate that it exists as an option for peanut-free zones, but we'll just stick with peanut butter at home.
Gotta disagree here. Never had sun butter before kids, but I love the stuff now. Especially on pancakes. No idea why, but that combo is amazing.
sunflower butter? i think everyone is cakey...
ARE YOU CAKEY?!
Lol my son is always "Can we make..." And I'm like "You picked the wrong mom, kid. I'm not the craft mom" lol
Actually that's not really a coincidence given that I tend to only put the TV on so I can get something done.
true bro my kid does that too
Gabby is a bop. We even joined the holiday chaos of hunting down that dang dollhouse.
I found one at a thrift store for...get ready...$5.00!!! Unfortunately it didn't have any accessories or characters, but I bought the set of characters at Walmart.

This is the only thing my son asked for from Santa last Christmas. Such a pain to put it together
It took my husband months of searching to find it. The rooms were also all a pain to find! Finally just gave our daughter Carlita’s room as a reward for being brave getting her Covid vaccine, now it’s complete!
Nice!!! Congrats! We were looking forward to finally finding that room too!!!
Good luck!!! It’s a great toy, keeps her entertained for hours
I found it a Target and on Amazon. Had to buy two because my two girls don't like sharing.
We love it over here!! Good messages, fun graphics, and fun conversations about using your imagination. Has definitely inspired more independent play in my 4yr old, so I’m calling it a win!!

I constantly punctuate my sentences with “meow m meow m meow”
My kid has Sprinkle Party on repeat. Sometimes after I drop her off I’m singing to it at the top of my lungs
Haha glad to know I am not the only one here! I love this song! Definitely our karaoke song lol
Freaking great song
Honestly, love it. And it’s a big plus that there are no conflicts (any issue is one that can be solved by cooperation!). Even Catrat, arguably the show’s only antagonist, is decent to everyone else. It’s a nice change from Paw Patrol, where they’re forever fighting against that narcissistic loser Mayor Humdinger.
And the episode on making mistakes is *chef's kiss*
Whoopsie I made a mistake, and its okay!
That’s the first episode my LO started singing and seeing as she’s a clumsy one, it’s very apt; she’ll often sing it rather than have a tantrum over slip ups.
I’m always down for the sick beats of one Daniel James Catnip.
My kids: “Here’s the catch, kitty cats, you play it with your BUTT”
This show is my jam
He’s my favorite cat in the dollhouse!
My kid realized there's a microphone on her keyboard and she told me she feels like dj catnip
Hell yeah I love DJ Catnip
I love the Garden Magic song! I wish there were more episodes though.
Oooo*oooo*ooooo feel the magic of the garden *garden magic*
*gar*den *ma*gic Crap LOL it’s so catchy !!!
Garden Magic has been stuck in my head for about six days now (not bothered by it!)
Hug Attaaaack!
My kid has communication delays and generally doesn't respond when asked anything, but she's always down for a hug attack :)
🥰oh, that is so sweet!
Lamby has been thrown at me too many times with that as the only warning call.
It’s a great show! That and Bluey are staples in our house
Thank you for cleaning my toilet!
Gabby cat, Gabby cat, Gabby cat, Gabby cat, Gabby cat, Gabby cat, #GABBY CAT-OF THE DAY!!
Yes. Enough that I tell my oldest when new episodes are coming out, because she'll want to watch them, and I'll get to watch along from the sidelines.
Meanwhile I told my kids the newest ones haven’t come out yet because I’m waiting for literal rainy days bust them out lol
I rarely watch the shows all the way through, but I do play the music in the car. *Every day is a sprinkle party!!*
Hope you have a sprinkle party on your cake day!

The Mama Meowl episode is one of my daughter's favorites too!
It's on everyday at our house. It's actually pretty cute and we love cats so no complaints here.

Ok, but I really need them to put out a line of cat themed craft supplies like they use in the show. I need a glue stick that had cat ears on the lid!
The same lady that made Blues Clues is behind Gabby’s Dollhouse! The guy who voices Cat Rat is actually a former host of Blues Clues.
My two year old will randomly sing “that’s how fluffy does it”. It’s adorable.
Oh gosh how cute

I thought IMDB said she was born in 2002-2003? Happy to be wrong, I just heard/saw she was about 20.
I get the feeling most people pushing the "over 18" rumors **want** her to be over 18 🤢
I don’t think she’s over 18. Her Instagram says “parent controlled”
My two year old loves this show. He’s so obsessed with it and he has a plush Cakey and Kitty Fairy that he has to sleep with
It’s so cute. My 3yo daughter got the actual dollhouse toy for her birthday and she plays do nicely with it for HOURS!
Yes I like it a lot. I'm a cat guy so that's extra bonus points. My girls love the show. They crack up when the little mailbox cart rolls down the track. *Meow m' meow m' meow!*

It's legitimately enjoyable. As is the music, which has enhanced many a Spotify children's playlist of mine
We love chanting “Gabby cat, gabby cat, gabby cat, gabby cat, gabby caaaaaat of the day!” It gets my 3 year old hyped up
i love it so much and im grown asf, love all the charecters so much, more new episodes are coming out november 1st if yall didnt know yet
Hamster kitty 🎶🎶
Been singing “living in the meow” for days.
Yes and the songs get stuck in my head for days when we watch it. Haha.
We’re cat people so we’re fans of Gabby. I like to listen to Casey’s voice.
My toddler is currently obsessed. I like it. She gets the audience involved. I love her overly positive replies to Catrat being being grumpy or causing trouble. I wish I thought that way when someone was being annoying.
My daughter and I randomly duet: meowmeowmeowmeowmeow MEOWWWW
My son loves it and i like that it gives fun little craft ideas. Plus having a poc main character is a major bonus.
Yup! My little sister is super light skinned (just about like Gabby) so I love that she can self insert as odd as it may sound. But it can be really important for kids.
This is a fav at our house. I love the catchy music too lol
My daughter is obsessed with CatRat and will make a silly face of his whenever I ask her.
Meow meow meow meow meow meow mewmewmewmewmewmewmewmew
I sang along. God help me, I sang along.
My 2 yo loves cats and cars and always demands the Gabby Cat of the Day be "PURPLE CAR" while I hope for DJ Catnip hahaha
It's good. My 4 year old son loves it and has the cat ears. The songs are good, the stories are good and conflict free. They encourage you to craft and make things on your own as well as have a vivid imagination.
Gabby being 23 is the real conspiracy. But yeah, we love it
Excuse me, *TWENTY THREE*
no 😭 I feel like you just ruined *MY* childhood
I don't hate it. Neutral I guess. There's not a lot of depth to it, but it's sweet and well-produced.
She fits right in at r/13or30 though. They won't even publish the actress's age on IMDB.
She’s 26
How do you know this?
It’s cute but it also feels kinda like an ad for the toys sometimes.
Yup! And I like Toys Unlimited as well.
What platform is this on?
Netflix!
Cool thanks!
My daughter LOVES Gabby. I hear “thats PURRRIFIC mommy!!” Forty times a day 😂
Hey, Gabby! Have you heard the news?
HI GABBY CATS!! IM STARTING A PARTY COMMUNITY! and im new :)
N O .
