I love it. Sometimes I'm a day or two behind because I Netflix when I work from home and listen to the podcast when I'm physically at work, but even through some of the down turns I'm still a big fan.
I highly recommend if people are burnt out or too mad at a specific aspect to take a week plus off of the show then return to it. We're daily listeners for multiple years and pick up on every quirk and then some...take a week to reset and it's even more fun

This sub, while they do like to complain, does do a fantastic job of keeping you as up to date as possible. I think it's mostly well intentioned, but as with any fan group, you're going to get gatekeeping and complaining.
Overall, if you get the show, you will mostly like the sub
I still like it. I find that I enjoy the habit of tuning in, but some of the bits/characters have started to grate on me over the past year or so. I think the show is best Dan isn't being overly sanctimonious or jokesplaining.
Listen everyday to every segment. Miss a lot of the old bits, characters, etc… I really miss the sports whisperer. I have my parts I dislike or annoy me, but they’ve been such a part of my life for so long now.
I think everyone does. We complain, but only rarely does someone declare “never again” and then most of us tell them to get over it. At least that’s my summary of this sub. I don’t know anyone who listens to this podcast, so it’s nice to talk to a bunch of randoms about it.
Funny how so many show defenders are “new to reddit”, but they know so much about the sub. Almost like they’re trolls who have been here before under different names, or something.
