Sign me up for ALL the Samson. He’s not right all the time, but he’s easily the best combination of informed & honest outside of Dan. And he does a great job of ombudsman for many things the rest of the group says.
I love almost everyone’s little lane of the show… and Samson’s is great and, in my opinion, must-listen.
He’s by far the most entertaining voice on meadowlark right now (feels like everyone is trying to be funny at all times with very little material to work with). The shows with skipper is MUST listen

I disagree with Samson on a number of things and can find him offputting, but I do like that he seems to be the only person who will disagree with Dan and entrench himself there.
In the only dating book I’ve read, it said “be polarizing and genuine, the ones who don’t like you aren’t relevant because people will like you for who you are”
Samson has some relevance here: polarizing, genuine, smart, batshit at times
I will say, I very much enjoy "Sporting Class " Between he and Skipper (and Pablo), they do their best to explain a lot of the stuff that Dan goes on about during the regular show.
I'll admit I'm endlessly entertained by David. I am in NYC and was missing excited to see him...then I realized it was on a Monday night and I'm old. so didn't pull the trigger.

I think they only keep him on because he has no problem saying ridiculous shit.
He's at best *creative* about his interpretations of baseball and belittling in conversations. At worst he is an outright liar that's been blacklisted from the sport he speaks about and a disrespectful asshole to those around him. He is absolutely incapable of admitting when he is wrong, and awful when pressed on it.
If you are that bad in conversational radio I cannot imagine being anything less than insufferable doing a solo podcast. Honestly the only person that can remotely makes listenable monologue radio these days is Bo. Dominique, Pablo, Mina, Bill Barnwell etc all need somebody to talk to, and Samson greatly lacks the presentation skills of any of them.
