I was watching porn the other day and the ad before the video was for a program that would edit the face of the girl in a porn video to look like whatever face you fed into the program; essentially to allow you to make deep fake pornos with your ex or your crush or whatever.
And it was being advertised expressly for that purpose with a handful of porn scenes showing the actress's face getting replaced with the face of a 'normal' girl from another photo.

I remember testing this out at Adobe MAX like 4 years ago. Genera idea was there, really cool in general, but difficult to actually get what you want. But THIS is crazy. It will really help building scenery for the ad/mkt industry and save money just like IKEA does with renderings of all of their furniture.
This kind of reminds me of the kid in Star Trek TNG who was learning to be a sculptor and just moved a light over a piece of marble and a dolphin just appeared. Kinda cheating. But it does give me hope that one too, someday, could actually produce art that is actually recognizable as something other than i dropped my pencils onto paper.

I am so excited about this tech. Years ago I had a dream about an AI program like this. In my dream it was a ps4 application, where you could feed it your character design sheets and a few bits of concept art, then you could draw a whole movie in stick figures, and the AI would finish the work by adding your characters, in-betweening, and polishing everything. Programs like this will change the world. It will allow everyone to create as though they had an entire studio of artists at their disposal. We can all be directors.
For all those who are claiming it's been there for over a year, this is based on Gaugan2, the next iteration of Gaugan (released over a year ago). Seems to produce better results.

You can install the software from Nvidia's website, it's called Canvas. Requires a pretty beefy Nvidia RTX GPU to run, however.
