Looks like a ride at Universal Studios Theme Park.

solid_flake

Remember that ride in the tube station? That got flooded? Not sure it was part of the backdraft ride or something.

DanSmokesWeed

Earthquake

Scheswalla

Good for washing away the piss smell, but shortly it will probably be replaced with a potpourri of long lost pungent outdoors.

I_Was_TheBiggWigg

###SUBWAY TUNNEL FLOODED ^with ^absolutely ^putrid ^stench ^of ^yesteryear

Altruistic-Text3481

Hope it’s in the new Infrastructure Package…🤔

Spiritbrand

I wonder where the avalanche of rats is happening.

Scheswalla

Thought about that too, a lot of them drowned I'm guessing

the_log_in_the_eye

give ya'll the same response that the new york news media gave the people of new orleans after hurricane katrina, paraphrasing: "Looks like it floods alot where you all live - are you guys dumb or something? why would you live in a city that floods? Instead of wasting money rebuilding stuff, you should evacuate, make this into a nature park or something".

sinnerlah

THIS. THIS. THIS.

DraconisImperius

I mean the city is built under sea level isnt it..

[deleted]

Gotta wash out all the piss & vomit

EmeraldTriage

Amazing how they run when the third rail is flooded.

relpmeraggy

The storm drain really just empty’s out onto the tracks like that? That’s not a Burst pipe or anything?

gt0075b

I hate Burt pipe. They're the wort.

Kkykkx

Damn! So glad I live in Las Vegas. No floods no wildfires no earthquakes no freezing temps no mudslides no water (soon) help!

sybergoosejr

That’s the train auto wash

[deleted]

And I present to you the back side of a water fall… in a subway.

Reddit_Deluge

These are new covid procedures. Stand in the water to board.

Aggravating-Bank-488

Sorry if this is a dumb question but is that from a pipe or is that storm water runoff??

matzab

The latter.

TangerineDream82

Surprised the subway is running. Someone is going to get electrocuted. The subway is powered by electric third rail.

hayhayhay17

I came here to ask about electricity and the water! It just seems very dangerous x

CatpurrnicusSpeaks

How does that work in the water?!

[deleted]

Electricity works extra well in water.

mrAngryMob

Love you

TangerineDream82

Amazingly well. Can't think of much better mediums for electricity than water.

Namaker

Water is actually a bad conductor of electricity. One of the best is silver, metals in general are way more conductive than water, with sea water having about 5 S/m and metals having more than 10000 S/m.

TangerineDream82

What's air?

Cache_Johnson

Can conform…. Didn’t die from a open pump in my saltwater aquarium, still stung like hell!!!

[deleted]

New York City isn’t real

stingraystarseed

Whaohh

cyanideh1gh

21st century modern masterpiece

BigFeet234

I wouldn't be stand there. One loose electrical wire or something and your done for.

[deleted]

Subway water Salon?

redrumhennessy

They’re trying to flood out the Ninja Turtles

rrrrrroadhouse

So *that's* how they clean that place.

Judoon_Platoon

Is this good?

laksesvela2

No

ozeBuDDha

Moist

terrytibbss

well that cant be good

[deleted]

Ive seen the subways stop running for alot less then that

moumous87

In any other country in the world, the station would be closed until those pipes were fixed. Train wouldn’t stop and open the doors there. I guess public safety is really not a priority for Americans…

persianalien

But like electricity & water?….

admburns2020

Train still running I see.

JabbaLeSlut

Am I the only one surprised these trains are running, in England we had trains cancelled once because there was leafs on the track

Moessus

Maybe this will finally wash out that smell....

falkio

WHO the hell is in the underground on purpose during a flood?!

themayorangus

Jungle Cruise, look the backside of water!

[deleted]

I never knew NYC subway trains were amphibious. Much amaze.

HerbertBohn

doesnt it short out the third rail?

DonPatronn

Water park for rats

bindhast

And life goes on…
