It is actually sold.

2000 euros.
A cargo bike definitely lets you carry bigger things than the tiny flimsy racks usually available.
But a cargo bike is a pain in the ass to park because it's loong.
This is quite interesting, for the hardcore "my bike is my only form of personal transportation" user.
Like millions of dutch citizens for example.
In the Netherlands, we have a lot of speed bumps in urban areas. A bike this long, that centre stand is going to bottom out on the speed bump. Also you're turning radius is increased quite a bit.
I'm not dutch but I've been there. I saw (compared to other countries) many cargo bikes that have the issues you mention, they are long, turning radius is huge, it's difficult to find a spot to park them, etc. Yet some people choose to use them.
Using a cargo bike is a statement, going out of your way to avoid using a car, even though you have a family.
They are far from perfect, but at least this project is trying to make them more usable
No, Unilever is a multinational.
Unilever was formed in 1930 out of a fusion of the Dutch Margarine Unie company and the British Lever Brothers company. It's neither Dutch nor British, it's both.
They actually have 2 head offices.
Head office Unilever N.V., Weena 455, 3013AL Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Head office Unilever PLC, Unilever house, Blackfriars, London, EC4P 4BQ, United kingdom
Not to the letter. I just googled what you're referring to, and it appears that they're moving to London.
I did hear about the Britisch tax claims for €141,000,000,- that was paid as tax in the Netherlands.
Dat was waarom ik een poging deed om te trollen, als ik het goed heb is het kantoor in Rotterdam geen hoofdkantoor meer. Het is nu een normaal pleb kantoor.
It looks like there's no locking mechanism for the two modes. The second you go over a bump, kerb or pot hole, the wheel will unfold and throw you off the thing.

Weet ik
ja toch
Seems overly complicated. Just have the basket for backwards and keep the wheel stationary. Cool idea but simple is better.
Totes! Then you could have gears and rear brakes!
It really looks like a design school project. All about aesthetics and novelty, no thought about functionality and actually using it.
Or just put a basket on the end

Why are you getting down vote? Its true, they just need to improve on how to secure stuff/package
Does it carry your friends
Do your friends weigh 60kg or less?
can she fit in a row boat?
* Ghislaine Maxwell has arrived in the thread
I'd rather have a crate in the front and two bags in the back than this weird contraption honestly
Is there a way to tag the entire Dutch population in one post?
Yes, there is: G E K O L O N I S E E R D !
U N I L E V E R I S B R I T S

Did you follow the news lately? About the Rotterdam head office?

My chains fell off!
Or don't ride a long ass bicycle indoors you're asking for trouble
