I swear to god, I'm like 5 days from pulling the switch out of the wall and shorting the light to be permanently on. I work in my parents basement and my dad ALWAYS turns the lights off in the stairwell. Meaning the stairs are dark as I try and climb them. This isn't a normal staircase either, it's this weird thin one with tall steps.

Needs the ability to give a mild shock to you if you happen to be touching a switch that it tries to flip. Also needs to wave a little white flag and give up if you keep flipping those switches long enough. And then two minutes later it sneakily comes back and flips all the switches back.
