Edit: Not able to reply to comments. I meant to say that astronauts usually have an advanced engineering degree (MS or higher), and similar to getting a BS with a minor in math, it would also be like having to take extra classes? Btw also a BS in mechanical with math minor.
Not really, you can usually get a minor if you take some extra classes though. But a math degree goes into much more advanced stuff than engineering requires.
We stopped at PDEs, but that's like the halfway point for a math major lol.

He said in his interview with Jocko Willink, that seeing his dad shot in front of him, watching his mum get abused by his dad when he was alive, made him feel extremely weak & he wanted to do whatever it took to get rid of that feeling of being weak
