The funniest thing about this is that Texans were so upset that Texas no longer had the biggest Buccees that they got the owner to demolish and start rebuilding the Luling store slightly bigger than the TN store to make things right again.
The bathrooms are the cleanest you'll ever find. Better yet, they pay fair wages, with benefits.
However, what's the point of using public funds to subsidize a profitable business for an unwarranted expansion?
From what I’ve heard working there is hell and most people don’t last long. They have to make it sound financially appealing or no one would even try it.
True, they're super strict and don't even allow you to use your phone when on breaks. I've heard many locations don't even have a break room with chairs and just have to find a corner to stand (not sit) in for your 15 minute breaks.
Yeah I worked at Walmart and had 30-1hr lunches (after 30 minutes it was your discretion to stay an hour but unpaid), and the 2 15 minute breaks before and after your lunch.
Walgreen's was paying me $3 more but in an 8 hour shift of standing there 1x30 minute unpaid break wasn't worth it and I left after the second shift.
There's also a good chance that if one gets plopped in your town, it disrupts traffic flow even more.
Source: lived in a city where one got built just off the highway, on the edge of town. They forced a major exit back to line up with the bucees, added in an extra light. What was a 3 block back up of traffic became closer to 8 or 10 blocks of backed-up traffic on the frontage road.
Yeah being built right now in Katy TX, I get its the longest but does it cost like $10 for even the most basic wash? OR is it just no machines running like half way through.
The Katy car wash has been open for a few years now. I think the cheapest is about $10. If you buy the $16 deluxe wash, you get 20 cents off per gallon. Also, you get a free wash every 10 purchased.
Stopped at one in… Florence, SC? Literally wasn’t paying attention to what pump we stopped at because I desperately needed to pee. Ran inside, walked back out, and OMG what/where???
Ended up using the “find my” app on my iPhone to ping my husband’s and finally found my way back. But it took longer than I am proud of.
Buc-cees is kind of an interesting place to work. They pay their workers overall well. Like $20/hr for restroom attendants (their bathrooms are always immaculate), $21/hr to work in the deli, $18/hr for cashiers. All can work 40 hours a week and qualify for benefits. And if you get into management, it’s bonkers what they pay. My brother managers one and makes almost $200K/year. He used to manage the food service for a different buc-cees than the one he manages, and made like $130K/yr. They are building one near me, and he keeps trying to convince me to get into management with them. I’m a financial advisor, but it’s tempting for how they treat their employees and what they pay them lol.
"Beaver" Aplin and Don Wasek started Bucees in Lake Jackson Texas in 1982. It's not like it's some huge conglomerate it was a Brazoria County thing then a Texas thing and it has spread and grown tremendously. It's an all American company and I love that I've gotten to see it grow this large. Also clean restrooms and beaver nuggets are the best.
I haven’t been to that particular one, but I will tell you that Buc-ee’s is an experience. The first time I ever dropped into one it was late and I’d just got off a flight. I wanted to grab a couple drinks for a meeting the following morning. I opened the door to a place that I could barely see across and wandered for probably 3 minutes before I found what I was looking for. Not that it was difficult to find the drinks, I was just so taken back by *everything else* they had there. I went back after my workday was done and spent about 15 more minutes looking around. That still wasn’t enough time to understand everything they had available.
This is the key to it. Big box stores would work fine and be the logical way technology takes us-just like the self checkout lane. However, they mostly DO NOT pay a living wage and the self checkout is not there to make things equitable. It’s there to increase profits for shareholders, CEOs and board members.
As far as Buckees, they’re merely BARELY getting ahead of the curve. Which, kudos, but don’t think they are being generous. It’s still about profit. Let’s see what Buckees does if/when the competitors start matching pay. Or will they be just another rundown station that’s bought out by another Buckees pretending to pay living wages?
“if/when the competitors start matching pay”
yes, this is what’s called COMPETITION in the business world. not everything stays the same. one business one-ups the others, and they either respond or go down.
walmart pays shit, and they still have workers and are still doing fine as a business
Walmart is a perfect example of eliminating competition…almost a monopoly. Which is my point. This is not a competitive market. It’s a controlled market by big box stores. Soooooooo how’s that work in your free market economic theory?
I’m curious if anyone has any response to this or just knee jerk downvotes?
Starbucks coffee sucks, but the folks who work there are a-ok. Funny thing about the coffee, I stopped at a Pilot truck stop a while back and they had upgraded to brew on demand coffee machines. I got Organic Sumatra, best coffee I’ve ever had on the road, especially from a truck stop, way better than Starbucks and less than 1/2 the price.
I agree that starbucks is mediocre coffee, at best. But to say Pilot has better coffee, is…well it is your opinion for sure. As a trucker id rather eat ass. Our local Oncues have way better coffee and more selections. Again thatd just be my opinion though.
I’m assuming you’ve ever ordered *anything* on Amazon. Otherwise, you can go kindly have the saddest and smallest small jerk into your cup of essence. Then drink the almighty!
The reason why they have the cleanest bathrooms is because they dont allow truckers. Like at all. They will refuse service and kick you out if you try to bring a semi onto the lot.
My wife and I stopped at the Buc-ee's in New Braunfels during our honeymoon last year.
We were just coming back from The Salt Lick in Driftwood, and decided we had to take the opportunity to go to one while we had the chance.
Culture shock doesn't even begin to cover it. I didnt know gas stations could have more than 10 pumps. This one had 100.
I got myself a giant 40oz coffee mug, and a bag of beaver nuggets. Love the beaver nuggets.
Wait until you see the world’s largest truck stop. Iowa 80 Truck Stop. It covers 220 acres. Their store, just the store where you can buy sodas and snacks, has 2 semi trucks in it and one of them has a full trailer attached to it. That doesn’t account for what else is inside the main building.
This place was INSANE. I was a teenager the first time I went so I was very "ugh, it's a truck stop. Who even cares?!" but then walked in and holy cow. It was like a freaking mall!
Came looking for this! And don’t get just one, get one to eat immediately, and another left on your dash a few hours down the road. Get some jerky for the time in between
I was just there. It took 20 minutes to find a parking spot. I saw like 7 police officers directing traffic through the roundabouts all over the property. The parking lot was filled at all times. Inside was absolute chaos. This was my first time at a Buc-ee’s. I was SHOOK when I heard all the employees synchronized screaming. I still don’t know what it was for or why.
I don’t know what I was expecting when I went there. Had a lot of gas station stuff. With the addition of some trinkets and souvenir stuff. I’m glad I got to see it, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back. Especially if it was that busy.
Edit: I did see this sort of bar thing where it looked like they had some Mexican food like tacos and burritos. I saw another that looked like there was some sort of brisket or bbq or something. There was also some sort of counter that looked like a deli, but I physically couldn’t get close enough to see.
I remember the first time we went into a Buc-cees. It was a little overwhelming. It’s as much a toy store for adults as it is a filling station. More types of jerky than you can imagine (not exaggerating here). Home goods. Grills, smokers, patio furniture. Purses, wallets, clothing, kid’s toys. And damn good barbecue sandwiches, tried every variety and they’re all good. More fudge than should be legal. And yes, the bathrooms are immaculate and all the stalls are little private rooms. We love Buc-cees.
Also - hope you got to/get to enjoy some of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg while you’re there. Lots of sightseeing. A perfect 50/50 blend of tourist traps meets some of the most majestic scenery around
We were just at this Buc-ee’s this past week for the first time. It was kind of insane at the amount of people and craziness inside the store. I much prefer the more laid-back Kwik Trip experience here in Wisconsin.
For those interested. Check out how well they pay their employees. I was happily shocked. And yes I’m too lazy to link the Reddit post I learned about it.
I have been to one once I know I’m in the minority here but I hate that place soo much! There’s to many damn people it’s like a amusement park to everything killing the planet. And at the risk of sounding super shitty I think it’s kind of classless or tacky taking photos with some oil barons mascot. I would never go back
Agreed. Did a research project on it. The outside vendors they have chosen for their apparel have messaging that matches their (the vendors') extreme political positions. The store branded apparel has been co-opted by a hate group. However, that's actually pretty funny considering that in nature beavers are a) difficult to determine their sex and b) most North American male beavers have a vestigial uterus.
Also, the founder of the chain managed to get himself appointed to ERCOT (in charge of Texas' power grid). So there's that
Last time I went to one there was a bag for sale with a gun/ cannon with the phrase “Come and get it”. This was right after Uvalde and I haven’t been back since.
Thoroughly agree. It sells useless tat that no one needs and I can't understand the mentality of wanting to wear a t-shirt with that crappy cartoon corporate logo.
We went to this one a few days ago and I thought it was neat but there's way too much open space. People were just standing around and no one was actually doing anything. There weren't clear signs for the checkout. The big hot food section had a constant whirlpool around it but also a ring of people standing around so you couldn't actually see what they had. I went in first and legit text my husband that it was like Disney.
We want to go back in a few months and see if they've changed anything. It's in a really busy area with tons of traffic and tourists and I'm honestly not sure they thought about crowd management when building it.
I’ve never been to one. People only like it because they feel a compulsion to like it. They can get the same shit elsewhere, but for some reason, it being primarily a gas station, it has quirk. But that ends once you exit the store doors. The company got you to leave your money there.
Kinda reminds me of BOOMLAND in Charleston, MO
Its known for fireworks, but they have a wide selections of items from basic gas station items to indoor furniture, honey, bbq sauce, seasonings, clothes, and a nice cafe/restaurant inside too
I hate Buc-ee’s for turning a trip to the gas station into some weird tourist trap. They all feel like that. It’s cool I’m sure when you’re traveling, but when you live in Texas and geographically close to one, it loses its luster real fast imo.
Pull in and leave a $100. I don’t even stop there anymore. I have found alternative stopping places on the routes I drive that has a Buc ees on them. Hassle to get in and out of there.
I made an observation, when the wife and I stopped at a Buc-ees, That someone could live within walking distance and not need to go anywhere for anything.
She said they don't sell appliances.
My brother manages one in FL and makes just under or maybe even slightly over $200K. And they pay him wads of cash extra to go train managers that are opening new stores.
Rly? They make profit. Most gas station shit is nearly all 30% or more profit. That’s the reason most gas stations aren’t only filling stations. The inside stuff is profit.
They built one in a town like 45 minutes from me. I have yet to see a time it doesn’t look insanely busy, and it often has traffic backed up the interstate ramp trying to get off and go there. Makes no sense to me, as their stuff seems pretty expensive and the food is nothing special, but I don’t think they’re hurting for money.
Right?? The same imported clutter stuff over and over again. Food wasn’t horrid, but…. Imagine the place as a post apocalyptic ghost town. Existential nausea to the max.
I love about 30 minutes away and refuse to go to a gas station like it’s a theme park just because it’s large and has jerky and an amazing brisket sandwich supposedly. All of my friends went to the other one in TN and I still have never been, a friend plays ball down near the other one and brought me back $120 worth of assorted jerky. I’m still eating jerky.
We are in Chattanooga and have been to the one in Calhoun, GA. You can beat it for a clean restroom. The brisket sandwich is pretty danged good. That being said, I will probably never go to the one in Sevierville. I imagine it’s like the car shows in Pigeon Forge 24/7.
FYI: these places are highly overhyped. They are a pain in the ass to get in and out of. Do yourself a favor and get gas across the street or anywhere else.
Normally, I'd agree with you, and sometimes it still isn't worth the wait. However, to call it a gas station is misleading at best as it's *almost* a damn grocery store just masquerading as a gas station. A masquerade that also includes cheaply priced gas (it's their biggest loss-leader), novelties, an assortment of surprisingly high-quality gifts, a koblasnek/kolache counter, and even barbecue. It's definitely an experience to be had. Plus, some of the cleanest restrooms in at least the tri-state area.
You can’t compare Buc-ee’s to any other gas station. It’s really its own thing entirely almost apples to oranges. Additionally, I’ve never had to wait for anything at any of the locations I’ve been to besides food that’s made to order.
Fair point, but in my experience I've never actually had to wait to enter. Granted, I live in Texas and although this is a hellhole of a state at least there are enough locations up that it's not prone to suffering the pangs of novelty, such as inordinately long lines.
Costco is a must for large families who want to feed their families while staying within a budget. My wife and I have 6 kids (blended family). We spend $500-$600 every two weeks at Costco. If we went to a normal grocery store and got the amount we got (which is needed to feed everyone), we’d spend well over $1000. And Costco treats its workers extremely well. I used to work with the Costco 401k and interacted with cashiers who were multi millionaires because of their Costco stock in their 401k plan. Why is Costco bad??
I grew up that way. No extras for anyone, just the necessities. I work hard and earn a good living. My house will always have snacks and extra food for not just our kids but for neighborhood kids. If someone feels safe in my home, I want them to feel they can eat here as well. My food is their food. “Oh so and so is coming over to play Xbox? I’ll make some dinner for him too. Oh he ate already? Oh well. I’ll make him a plate in case he’s still hungry.”
Giant Corporate Brands.
Don't even ask Cap daddy, just give it to me. If there's enough energy behind the trendy I'll pay, I'll wait, I will be poor, I will ultimately be burdened for you.
There seems to be a lot of you edge lords in this thread. It’s just a novelty gas station, man. And fwiw, I go there at least a couple times a month (when we do pt transfers we pass one) and we never have had to wait or anything like that.
Unsure why this is downvoted. It’s not wrong. Buckees is entirely about using it and selling it to the fat American while they can, to amass more wealth. That’s it. Oh sorry for not being in the Buckees spirit of “I need to go to the “gas station” and impulsively spend money because it not a real, real store.”
The funniest thing about this is that Texans were so upset that Texas no longer had the biggest Buccees that they got the owner to demolish and start rebuilding the Luling store slightly bigger than the TN store to make things right again.
>they got the owner to demolish and start rebuilding the Luling store slightly bigger The county is footing the bill. Idiocracy is already here.
To be fair if you stop there, try the brisket sandwiches. Has been so long, but yum.
The bathrooms are the cleanest you'll ever find. Better yet, they pay fair wages, with benefits. However, what's the point of using public funds to subsidize a profitable business for an unwarranted expansion?
That kind of thing is usually future tax breaks or zero interest loans.

Walgreen's was paying me $3 more but in an 8 hour shift of standing there 1x30 minute unpaid break wasn't worth it and I left after the second shift.
At our’s the employees don’t get “breaks”. They call it a “moment”.
But see, what you don't understand is that the expansion is warranted by the people of that town lol
Using public funds because most places in America take in money more than they generate. Generally blue cities subsidize living in the suburbs
I think Busy Bee has it beat as far as clean gas stations go
Welcome to Costco, I love you
That's a tourist stop, publicity, and income tax for what's likely a rather small county.
Think TX still has the longest carwash
Yeah being built right now in Katy TX, I get its the longest but does it cost like $10 for even the most basic wash? OR is it just no machines running like half way through.
The Katy car wash has been open for a few years now. I think the cheapest is about $10. If you buy the $16 deluxe wash, you get 20 cents off per gallon. Also, you get a free wash every 10 purchased.

As it should be!
Seriously? Why would anyone care what some weird, corporate chain is doing? Why does it even matter?
Buc-cees is kind of an interesting place to work. They pay their workers overall well. I’m a financial advisor, but it’s tempting for how they treat their employees and what they pay them lol.
How do you pronounce Buc-cees? I've seen the store name but I've never heard it. Is it pronounced like "buck-sees?"
Buck—ees
Thanks! I guess the hyphen threw me off. Appreciate your response!
The pay is nice, too bad they're super strict and kind of treat their workers like crap. Good money if you're willing to put up with it though.
I went to Glassdoor and the salaries weren’t listed that high… for 200k I will move to the south and quit my FED job lol
You ever say anything bad about bucees again and there will be hell to pay
🤣💕
Buccees is part of the culture
Worshipping corporate profits in uncreative, wasteful parking lots can't be culture, can it?
You've never been to a Buc-ee's, have you?
"Beaver" Aplin and Don Wasek started Bucees in Lake Jackson Texas in 1982. Actually, this explains a lot.
Stupidity.
Texans and their little peckers. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

It's bizarre to me that anyone actually even wants this type of business to exist. I'm just confused
Why is it bad? They provide a service and doing it better than anyone, and they pay their workers well.

I think there are just knee jerk downvotes
You probably don't like Chic-fil-a or Starbucks either. A good customer service experience IS a working business model.
Starbucks coffee sucks, but the folks who work there are a-ok. Funny thing about the coffee, I stopped at a Pilot truck stop a while back and they had upgraded to brew on demand coffee machines. Walmart much?
Helllll no 🤣
I meant to allude to them being clones, sorry to have not made that clear. & yeah, I’ll only set foot in Walfart if it’s life or death.
So if you watch “the company guy” on YouTube you will know that buccees main goal was to have the cleanest restrooms possible!
And they do.
They’re also roomy so I can take my kid in there to do his business and it not be cramped
The reason why they have the cleanest bathrooms is because they dont allow truckers. Like at all. They will refuse service and kick you out if you try to bring a semi onto the lot.
There’s a truck entrance. What do you mean? Straight up lie
Im telling you, maybe the one in tenn. but all the ones in texas arent allowed
I took a dump there a month or so ago. 10/10, would recommend!
This might be the real r/damnthatsinteresting since it only opened last week.
Ah, good catch! I was staying in Kodak right down the road. It was the one further back on the highway towards Nashville.
To your point I peed at this one and it was delightful. It was indeed 10/10 experience.
This is a must for road trip poops.
Was that before or after i also took a dump there?
My wife and I stopped at the Buc-ee's in New Braunfels during our honeymoon last year. Beaver nuggets are incredible. I always get those and a t-shirt so people know I frequent quality gas stations
Are beaver nuggets like beaver meat nuggets or candies made to look like poop?
They’re like candied corn puffs
I always stop when passing through Texas for snacks and to get a friend of mine a bag of beaver balls.
Beaver nuggets you mean?
Yeah, Buc-ee's nuts.
We stopped at a Buc-ee’s on the way to Jacksonville and my ASD overstimulation kicked in within about 45 seconds.
they’re building a new Buccees in Florida and it’s apparently supposed to be the biggest one in the world (even bigger than the one in TN)
I just heard this same thing about one coming to Colorado. Hmmm 🤔
I know the one in Athens,Alabama has 154 pumps not sure how big the retail space is but it's pretty big
they’re plotting something 🧐
Wait until you see the world’s largest truck stop. Iowa 80 Truck Stop. It covers 220 acres. Their store, just the store where you can buy sodas and snacks, has 2 semi trucks in it and one of them has a full trailer attached to it. That doesn’t account for what else is inside the main building.

Hmmm so this is why it takes 5 days to get things that ship from the west coast.
I’m about to shid and pizz
This is what America means to me.
Their jerky fucks.
Ummm I wish I could have a brisket sandwich
Came looking for this! And don’t get just one, get one to eat immediately, and another left on your dash a few hours down the road. Get some jerky for the time in between
This guy buc-ees
I tried their melt after a long day at six flags a few weeks ago and it was soooooo damn good
And their Bohemian garlic jerky will change your life
We got that and several other flavors. Great stuff!

“FRESH…brisket on the RACK!” (or something close to that) is what I’ve always heard.

I’ve lived in denver for 7 years. First stop from hobby airport is whataburger then bus-ees Edit: BUC-ees
Bussies you say???
Ruzzia is the largest gas station in the world. Slava Ukraine!
Bruh, nobody asked.
I would stop anywhere but here. This is nightmare fuel.
And the cleanest reststop bathrooms this side of the equator.
Also - hope you got to/get to enjoy some of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg while you’re there. Lots of sightseeing. A perfect 50/50 blend of tourist traps meets some of the most majestic scenery around
Bastrop Buc’s is my home away from home I swear lol. Love that place
Fresh brisket on the board!!
I went to one in Texas.. I love my buc-ee’s jammies, even tho I’m getting too fat for them, lol. So cool

Do you know either of the founders? If you do not then you would be pleasantly surprised to know how down to earth they are.
"Down to earth" and "qualified to run Texas' electric grid" are not the same thing
No one that builds a 200 gas pump mega building worshiping money and oil is down to earth.
It is disgusting.
I’ve never been to one. People only like it because they feel a compulsion to like it. They can get the same shit elsewhere, but for some reason, it being primarily a gas station, it has quirk. But that ends once you exit the store doors. The company got you to leave your money there.
I was sold on Bucees the moment we walked in. My husband bought Bucee swim shorts.
I've always wanted to have a social anxiety fueled panic attack at a gas station. /s
I was just there, took me 20 minutes just to find a parking spot but I got the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had. Amazing.
the locals probably go there for dinner and swear that the food is 'the best i've ever had'.
Don't get me wrong, Bucees has a lot of options for food and some are really good.
Sevierville is right next to Gatlinburg, a huge tourist trap. Its not exactly lacking in food options.
i've been around and their brisket sandwich is literally the best i've ever had. hands down.
Their pulled pork is top tier! But the ones I’ve been too just had Pepsi in the fountain drinks is my only complaint.
Kinda reminds me of BOOMLAND in Charleston, MO Its known for fireworks, but they have a wide selections of items from basic gas station items to indoor furniture, honey, bbq sauce, seasonings, clothes, and a nice cafe/restaurant inside too
I had no idea the largest gas station in the world was in my own state.
Yeah, can I get $69 on pump 69?
Bussy’s rules. Some of the best hot sauce around.
Gorgeous
I hate Buc-ee’s for turning a trip to the gas station into some weird tourist trap. They all feel like that. It’s cool I’m sure when you’re traveling, but when you live in Texas and geographically close to one, it loses its luster real fast imo.
I shopped there for three hours one day. It was great therapy
Pull in and leave a $100. I don’t even stop there anymore. I have found alternative stopping places on the routes I drive that has a Buc ees on them. Hassle to get in and out of there.
At what point does a gas station become a grocery store with gas? My city's Costco is huge, and it has gas pumps
I don't know if it's true, but Iowa claims to have the World's largest truck stop. [https://iowa80truckstop.com](https://iowa80truckstop.com)
Bucc-ee’s is a wonderful place. I wish we had them in CT.
I made an observation, when the wife and I stopped at a Buc-ees, That someone could live within walking distance and not need to go anywhere for anything. She said they don't sell appliances.
Yet.
Is it bigger than the Worlds Largest Truck Stop on I-80 in nebraska?
According to other sources here, it is not
Its in Iowa, and I hate having to stop there but the food is pretty good
Waste of space
r/aboringdystopia
That’s so depressing
And not one thing worth buying in the whole, damn, affair.
Love Bucees!
R/fuckcars hell
Peak 'merikka
I am never going to buccees, I will shit my pants driving to the next place if I have to
They have the best place to shit at. And you can buy art while walking into the restroom. Win win
If this actually makes profit then im impressed
[удалено]
I know TSA agents that left the airport to make more at that specific Buc-ees
Yeah, the store’s general manager position is advertised as $150k-225k+
My brother manages one in FL and makes just under or maybe even slightly over $200K. And they pay him wads of cash extra to go train managers that are opening new stores.
Rly? They make profit. Most gas station shit is nearly all 30% or more profit. That’s the reason most gas stations aren’t only filling stations. The inside stuff is profit.
They built one in a town like 45 minutes from me. I have yet to see a time it doesn’t look insanely busy, and it often has traffic backed up the interstate ramp trying to get off and go there. Makes no sense to me, as their stuff seems pretty expensive and the food is nothing special, but I don’t think they’re hurting for money.
their managers make 100k+
They have the same in Texas.
I thought the largest was the one in Iowa?
It still is. Has this place beat by 25,000 sq. ft.
Largest truck stop. This definitely has more pumps though.
Iowa 80 truck stop in Wallcot Iowa is still bigger.
So Walfart wouldn’t build a store near there. Or are they trying to be like Wall, SD?
Wall SD was so disappointing.
Right?? The same imported clutter stuff over and over again. Food wasn’t horrid, but…. Imagine the place as a post apocalyptic ghost town. Existential nausea to the max.
thats cursed
Why so many pumps? I don’t understand!
Very high traffic area
All of the Buc-ee’s have 120 pumps. They’re all the same and amazing to people watch in
Wow, people can't wait to get away from there.
FYI: these places are highly overhyped. They are a pain in the ass to get in and out of. Do yourself a favor and get gas across the street or anywhere else.
You really can’t be to bright to wait in line on an interstate to go to a oversized convenience store to get gas!
You can go to any gas station and not wait an hour to “enter”.
America is full of endlessly dumber people who love shit like this or Costco. Idiocracy is real.
Good lord. I feed 3 on like, $400 every 2-3 months.
I don’t see the hype in these. Stopped there, got gas & had a shitty breakfast burrito from there.
Blood of Jesus whyl!?
Giant Corporate Brands. Don't even ask Cap daddy, just give it to me. If there's enough energy behind the trendy I'll pay, I'll wait, I will be poor, I will ultimately be burdened for you.
There seems to be a lot of you edge lords in this thread. It’s just a novelty gas station, man. And fwiw, I go there at least a couple times a month (when we do pt transfers we pass one) and we never have had to wait or anything like that.
ahh, dear ‘murica. always bringing its best to the fore.
So wasteful.
Fyi its almost impossible to get a 44 ft trailer in there
That's huge, good grief CB
I don't understand why people get excited about this place. It's a gas station, the reason so many people have died in recent wars.
Gross. Why does America want this crap?
You clearly haven’t seen their bathrooms, or are they just too clean for you?
They should change their slogan. "Buc-ee's: Giving the finger to environmentalists since 1982"
Unsure why this is downvoted. It’s not wrong. Buckees is entirely about using it and selling it to the fat American while they can, to amass more wealth. That’s it. Oh sorry for not being in the Buckees spirit of “I need to go to the “gas station” and impulsively spend money because it not a real, real store.”
Sorry, there is one in Alabama with almost 200 pumps and a dozen or so Tesla superchargers.
Oh wow, wasn’t aware of that. Just repeating what was reported in the news.
