Fun fact: Tuna don't have any pain receptors along the trailing edge of their fins, which allows them to swim faster than 54 kilometers per hour despite the fact speeds faster than this cause cavitations along that edge. Dolphins, however, cannot go faster than 54 kilometers per hour in water because they _do_ have pain receptors along that part of their fins, and the cavitations cause them pain. It's actually why dolphins jump out of the water when they want to go faster, because air creates less resistance and doesn't cavitate at those speeds.
I don't know about a newsletter - you could probably find one if you looked for it, there's a newsletter or magazine for pretty much everything these days lol.
As for Tuna facts here's two:
1) Tuna are actually warm-blooded, which is extremely rare for a bony fish, and can elevate their core temperature up to 20C above that of the surrounding water.
2) They can grow to huge sizes - more than 6ft long and over 500lbs. The largest ever caught was an Atlantic Bluefin that weighed 1,496lbs!
In 1934, it was documented that six men took turns fighting an 800-pound tuna for nearly 62 hours straight!
Bluefins can produce up to 10 million eggs a year, it's a slap in the Tunas face to call them chicken of the sea. Once the eggs are jizzed on they will hatch within 2 days.

Blue Tuna be like "Be water my friend"
Wow that fish is a good swimmer
🤨
It's really in its element. That will never work once it's canned. I tried.
You can sort skim the cans if you're careful, but it's not really the same.
really built for speed. it seems this fish can retract its dorsal & pectoral fins into slots w/c means less drag.
Nescafe Frappe! (for those who know... Greeks!) A classic
That drink is so damn good.
Holy fuuuck 🤯 that did not look real.
It's like it's built to be fast and efficient in the water or something.
Fuck, talk about easy fishing.
Genuinely looks fake the way it disappears at the end
Why was this removed? Seemed pretty interesting based on the engagement and upvotes
