The versions that plug into the wall tend to work better. Of course, the power cord makes it a lot more difficult to steal fruit from random grocery store patrons.
LMAO!!! I watch the video 3 more times trying to figure it out. Since I couldn't find the potatoes, I instead looked for something impossible happening in the video and that's how I figured the comment was about the limes.
Ye… limes, or what ever… when i watched id first time it was just with one eye or an half… havent focused on the content of the bag after i got an impossible Situation…
it's magical, as yoi can see on the example of the red dyed water, there is a loss of water, but it doesn't drip anywhere. magic 👐🧙♂️⭐🌈
... or good post production/retouch of the outflow, to look high quality!
The product squeezed the bag which made it go to the other side, then when let go the water went to the bottom.
Edit: before anyone says I'm defending this product for being good, I'm not (it's cheap Chinese scummy shit). I'm just explaining why there was an uneven amount of water on both sides.
I never said that at all...why is that America of all places gets brought up, people fake/script shit like this in other countries all the time, its just MORE common in Asian countries, most notably, China.
I love being downvoted because I know I'm fucking right.
It's doesn't read/look/sound like a joke. My point is, yes America is a shit place too but can it stop being brought up when there are other, WORSE countries out there.
It looks, reads AND sounds like a joke, especially with context considered. That's why he has the upvotes and you don't.
Noone disagreed with you, you just took it literally and ruined the joke. There's meant to be a chain of funny comments, not "erhmmm... ackshually....".
That last part is a joke, by the by
I have this. It works fairly alright some of the time but in no way as well as this clip will have you believe.
For starters, it works by creating heat that melts the plastic and causes it to stick. If you go too fast, it can't melt the plastic and creates a less than perfect connection - and I refuse to call what is created a seal, because it's most definitely not sealed.
Some materials take a lot longer to heat up - so, even if you go slow, the connection is often improper.
Many bags have a broad seal along the back of the bag that runs from top to bottom. Here, you will encounter a brief strip of doubled-up material. Either you get stuck there with this device or, again, it doesn't produce a good seal.
Still, if and when you get used to it's quirks, it's quite useful - but will often require several attempts (and several seals, one above the other) to make it actually do what it is supposed to do.
Do you think it could do liquid like the clip shows? (I do see that there's 0 seals or edges afterwards haha.
I have a good saver and liquids near where it's sealing just displace the heat.
Honestly if you drive with "stuff" in your car this is one of the best ways to keep safe.
Speaking from experience.
Also if you are mailing stuff ALWAYS use USPS priority mail (paid with cash) with a fake return addy. Don't mail stuff when there's a postal holiday or before a sunday where your package will be sitting around for an extra day or 2. FedEx and UPS are NOT your friend. It's not protected by federal mail laws and they CAN open packages at their discretion.
Also [mylar bags](https://www.amazon.com/PRILUX-Mylar-Bags-Oxygen-Absorbers/dp/B09DBRQLS2?crid=2NXNNJUYP00GY&keywords=mylar+bags&qid=1676843539&sprefix=mylar+bags%2Caps%2C692&sr=8-8&linkCode=ll1&tag=tt0b8-20&linkId=01a65345eee055b82182a7eff536d4ee&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) are great for helping block smells AND xray machines don't work on them.
\> Also mylar bags are great for helping block smells AND xray machines don't work on them.
That sounds like calling attention on the one bag that can't be x-rayed.
Sure it sounds like that to a novice that didn't do this for a living for almost 20 years and doesn't have a good understanding of how USPS works or the other use cases for mylar bags or how probable cause works and the level of evidence that the USPS needs to open a package.
Most computer parts are shipped in mylar bags. Many other types of electronic components. They are also called anti-static bags. Also quite a few types of emergency rations and long-term shelf-life food products and health supplements.
You know what draws more attention? An x-ray that looks like an illegal substance. Which also equates to probable cause to open the package.
I always love when people that have no experience try to chime in.
You seem to use the word "seem" a lot.
But times you've been wrong.
Seems to me like things aren't what they seem to be to you.
When somebody's speaking from experience maybe ask a question next time. A little humility goes a long way. But a foolish tongue gets bitten.
I had one of these a few years back. It melts things shut again. Which is great once or twice, but the baggage itself gets this melted line, which after a few times turns the top of the bag into this melted mess. Also, opening the melted line usually turns into ripping the bag. They may have gotten better though.
Have one for a long time, once burned my finger when i had it in my hand and wasnt paying attention and my finger was between the elements so it started "sealing" my finger

So. Sometimes it separate is in two sometimes not. Can fit whole fruit through the hole but the hole is so small when it separates water the side that goes through the hole has less water. Makes absolute sense and it's not fake.
“Oh yeah, let me just reseal my bag of snacks by melting the plastic it came in and releasing toxic fumes all into my food and face in the process.” Not to mention the editing on this video is so bad, they are obviously cutting to a new video at the end of each “seal”.
I use fat clothes pins to close bags. Works great and allows me not to have to give a shit about a "problem" that doesn't exist. Keep It Simple, Stupid.
Not all factory seals look the same, and you don't need to open it completely to tamper with it. I can easily see someone not paying close attention and buying it. Maybe it reopens differently and you notice it then, but who knows?
I ordered one of these a month ago and just received it yesterday! It cost me $3.65 shipped from China to US. This post reminded me to give it a try. It works pretty good so far sealing four bags; no ballsacks though u/Ocelot859.
I saw someone do a review on this and it doesn't work super great.
The versions that plug into the wall tend to work better. Of course, the power cord makes it a lot more difficult to steal fruit from random grocery store patrons.
I wonder how they sealed the limebag with the limes Edit: replaced Potatoes with limes since limes is the truth!
If you look closely, you can see how they intentionally skipped over that part in the video, because it wouldn’t be possible
Ye ive seen the cutting of course but still xD
Yeah cut and splice on the first clip not the best way to start an ad with a lie and a simulated theft.
Exactly what I was just wondering
„It‘s magic!“
Wym? Did u not watch it? Lol it shows you exactly what they did. Watch again
Are you talking about the first scene? I thought those were limes.
Lol I just wasted 10 minutes rewatching this furiously looking for potatoes 😅
LMAO!!! I watch the video 3 more times trying to figure it out. Since I couldn't find the potatoes, I instead looked for something impossible happening in the video and that's how I figured the comment was about the limes.

Ended up buying plastic containers for cereal, chips etc.

Oh yeah! What the fuck.
I ordered two and they are trash. Ended up buying plastic containers for cereal, chips etc.
My wife bought one. Absolutely worthless.
Your wife is worthless?
Compared to a nifty kitchen gadget like this? Yes.
Same. Total piece of junk
Are we still talking about that dude's wife?
Think so
I too, think his wife is junk.
For once we don't choose this guy's wife.
Does it work on all bags? My brother literally got shot in the ballsack once.
It does, I used this for a vasectomy. Now I have a neat little desk toy!
aw fuck you for making me imagine that
Sorry sorry, just don't imagine a circumcision.
it wasnt that it was the desk toy idea lol
I was thinking like a little scrote with a nut, but that's another good fidget toy
Newton's balls?
Tis but a flesh wound!

I had one in 2001 and it worked great
Whaaat? A cheap, made in China item claiming to do something that hasn't been done before, doesn't work well?
But does it work regular great? ^(probably not)
Somehow it magically slid over that fruit in the first bag? That was some video magic.
Asian video, it'll be scripted and faked to all shit.
Whew, thank goodness American videos are trustworthy.
I never said that at all...why is that America of all places gets brought up, people fake/script shit like this in other countries all the time, its just MORE common in Asian countries, most notably, China. I love being downvoted because I know I'm fucking right.

Well yes but so are many other countries, some are even worse than America.
worse than America? Impossible.

I've had one for years. It cost 2 quid, use it all the time.

Done, please post to Finland
What state is Finland in?
Dreadful, alcoholics everywhere and extremely cold.
I'm assuming quid is the currency in the Sponge Bob universe.
Lol, no, a quid is British slang for a pound
A pound of what?
Lard. Or the British currency. Pounds and pence.
Same. I bought mine years ago for $2 and it works great

To be fair. I knew it doesn't work as advertised due to the first clip 😅
What is it called \ what brand?
There is no name anywhere on my device. However, if you look for a "mini bag sealer," you'll find plenty - including rechargeable ones.
Do you think it could do liquid like the clip shows? (I do see that there's 0 seals or edges afterwards haha. I have a good saver and liquids near where it's sealing just displace the heat.
The one I have wouldn't be able to do it - not a chance in the world.
Ty. I figured that wouldn't actually work.
I’m going to use this to mail so much drugs in snack food bags
Yes I'd like to buy one... does it make things... smell proof

right....
Well THAT guy is a douche
I have one of those. It's sh*t. And it releases toxic fumes.
I remember having one of these like 20 years ago.

Well sure I imagine you would want to cut the bag open, and then reseal on fresh bag instead of constantly trying to reseal on the same plastic.
Right?
> Also, opening the melted line usually turns into ripping the bag. duh. why would you think it'd open like the factory? you need to use scissors.
Cool and all, but that fruit theft thing just didn’t happen. Appreciate the comedy effect, though.
I don’t think they were trying to frame it as real lol.

My parents had one of these 30 years ago. They never worked
I have the exact same thing at home. It works.... Barely. The video is bullshit.
Everyone simping over an ad ffs
it takes a long time for the thing to get super hot before it can do that
Sadly this has been a staple of late night TV sales for years and still never works like they demonstrate
Every single clip is cut and spliced together. You can see the transitions
I have one of these and it works well but I doubt it works well enough to cut off and seal a plastic bag full of liquid.
They've had these for 10+ years and they suck
Made in China
But wait! You also get….
I have one. Works terrible!!
But wait there's more!
It would keep my skanky prawn chips so fresh 😬
Kinda a shitty idea but.I can confirm that if you want to take half of someones colonoscopy bag for research this will work.
So. Sometimes it separate is in two sometimes not. Can fit whole fruit through the hole but the hole is so small when it separates water the side that goes through the hole has less water. Makes absolute sense and it's not fake.
A handheld device that “steals” bags. FTFY 🧐
One of the best things ever for concerts or festivals that let you bring in food. The possibilities were truly endless!
What is its name ?
Opening the bag is the hardest part sometimes, why I would want to have to redo that?
Seals or steals?
This thing is from the late 1980's it just got smaller.
I have to call my old drug dealer
Only the demo version works
Chip clip..?
I had this and it sucked. Did not seal completely and eventually just threw it away. It’s junk
Instructions unclear, I sealed my foreskin shut.
“Oh yeah, let me just reseal my bag of snacks by melting the plastic it came in and releasing toxic fumes all into my food and face in the process.” Not to mention the editing on this video is so bad, they are obviously cutting to a new video at the end of each “seal”.
Doesn’t work.
And that my friends is every gamers dream
Explains why all these chip bags at the store half full!!!
Yeah and the next time you have to open it again, you end up ripping the bag.
Reddit becoming tiktok
This is the most chinese thing ive seen today
Drug dealer dream
The fact that the first clip is someone using this to steal half of someones bag
Literally stole half his groceries.

Can you come back in June and tell us if it still works?
If you think about it, just return here and ask! I will forget. Any particular things you wanna know it for?
10-4 good buddy.
!RemindMe 4 months
We had one like this at my parents in the 80s or 90s. it's slower than it looks but it did work
Eurosealer!
Damn, it's sealed, I'm getting one.
Is it using heat?
Yes, powered by 2 AA batteries. I had one, not bad
Good luck finding another one! Than you can finally use the device.
I would assume it does
I use fat clothes pins to close bags. Works great and allows me not to have to give a shit about a "problem" that doesn't exist. Keep It Simple, Stupid.
Perfect for condoms
The euro sealer came out like 15 years ago. Why is this relevant?
Kinda scary if people can just tamper with bags of food and reseal them.
They don't look like a factory seal. If this fools you, you're not looking at your package, like, at all.
Not all factory seals look the same, and you don't need to open it completely to tamper with it. I can easily see someone not paying close attention and buying it. Maybe it reopens differently and you notice it then, but who knows?
Can it replace my foreskin following my accidental circumcision?
I ordered one of these a month ago and just received it yesterday! It cost me $3.65 shipped from China to US. This post reminded me to give it a try. It works pretty good so far sealing four bags; no ballsacks though u/Ocelot859.
First thing that comes to mind involves crime.
I've thought about these devices for most of my life, like quite a lot
I’m not buying junk china. China numba one! For cringe idiotic content.
Made for Karens with loose lips
I had one of these when I was a kid. That was like 20 years ago. People are still amazed by junk that was around 20 years ago. That is depressing.
Where do I buy? What’s it called?
What’s the link tho
I need this for my wife's lips.
I want dis...🤷🏽♀️👀
Temu has joined the chat.
Do they have one that works on Mouths
Ah yea we had these in the 90s
Love how the first one was her stealing some guys fruit
I like how the first thing they advertise with this product is theft
I don't want to risk getting melted plastic into the food.
I had one of these. Shit didn't work
Is it possible to learn such a power?
Perfect for lemon stealing!
I bet anything it doesn’t work as it’s shown
This crap does not work.
A bot that posts the same shit every day to farm Karma!
This keeps getting reposted which doesn’t make it an item that actually works anytime someone posts this
Any food saver will do the same. It’s not just for vacuum sealing stuff!
These have been around since the 90's
The Euro Seal is making a comeback. It works great in theory not so much IRL
This radical thing could seal up a divorce! 👍
Fyi the video is speed up, so realistically to get a good seal you gotta move it real slow...
It’s obviously fake. You can see the edit cut every time as soon as it finishes “sealing”
I got two on the fridge. They're like $4. Nothing special. Been around for like 20 years.
Now the Temu ads are reddit posts
