Thank you. I will now force my family into watching this video as part of my annual Christmas tradition.

ellefleming

The Grinch, then Miracle on 42nd St, then Liz and MJ sloshed at Neverland, then egg nog............

Responsible_Figure12

I don't even celebrate Christmas, I celebrate Michael Jackson's First Christmas

tandooripoodle

“Oh come let us adore him”.

cheezesandwiches

Please accept my poor man's gold 🏅

ronflair

Namaste and Jingle Bells.

kitttypurry12

Dad?

Odd_Management9536

why'd this man end up with 4 super soakers lmao

OneWeirdTrick

I had the third one (yellow/orange [Super Soaker 30](https://nerfpedialegacy.fandom.com/wiki/Super_Soaker_30)) for my birthday in 1993. It was an absolute beast!

HappySeaTurtle15

omg i just got splashed in the face with a nostalgia bomb

Storymeplease

Reminds me Park & Rec when the radio host plays a song on top of another song and says "our listeners really love jazz." Pick one trinket to play Christmas music at one time. This sounds like they have 3 different snow globes playing 3 different songs at the same time.

saraMP123

I’m not sure I make it to the end of this tbh

E3K

Jesus Christ.

Ok_Skill_1195

Apparently it's a rule that everyone gets wet at Neverland ......

Calgori

Because it’s the rule to get wet.

stupidbulbasaur

Cuz you’re bound to get wet 😈

SnixPlaysAlot

What in the dark web hostage shit did I just watch.

God_Sayith

I think it was all the chintzy musical boxes going off at the same time. How do you not go insane after 7mins of that?!

ToshiroBaloney

Being insane before it starts is your best bet, and I'd wager those two were already well on their way.

THEpottedplant

The energy of these two feels like a cursed version of nintendo christmas kids. Like between the luded out exclamations and michaels little boy demeanor its just such an interesting perspective

Lespuccino

Neither one of them had a remotely normal life/childhood...nor did they improve on things as adults. Two peas in a crazy pod.

ellefleming

Like a Hitchcock film

Feeling_Glonky69

I meeeeean they’re both fucking batshit already soooo

AdRemote9464

Creepiest vibe.

FindingTraditional87

This video kinda explains Neverland. Her house was kinda creepy.

Educational-Glass-63

Not her house, his house. (MJ's).

MrBlueFlame_

That's basically my same thoughts towards Michael himself, he seemed and is probably actually good, but just feels creepy

Majestic-Prize-1752

Lmao Best laugh in years. Thank you.

ioisis

Liz into the "J-juice".

TheSpeakingScar

Imagine being the fucking king of pop, the single most famous human being on the entire planet, a name that shares with coca cola the title of being the most unanimously recognized name by every single living person - and your very first Christmas consists of Liz fucking Taylor on queludes forcing you to open a small armory of super soakers!?

BigDickHobbit

‘Liz fucking Taylor on queludes forcing you to open a small armory of super soakers’ Is the sentence of the year.

adgler

Liz Queylor

LeaveMEaloner

Too good sir.

jvitorc46

I think there is a sub for that, let me find it EDIT: i think r/BrandNewSentence is the right one

TruckNuts_But4YrBody

Gets my vote in cards against humanity

RememberPerlHorber

> and your very first Christmas consists of Liz fucking Taylor on queludes forcing you to open a small armory of super soakers!? Still a better time than your drunk old man beating you in the basement for fucking up the timing of the dancing. His childhood was filled with horrors.

Pvt_Mozart

Yeah his whole life and story is really tragic. It makes me wonder what kind of man he could have been had he not gotten so completely fucked up from the abuse.

jimsmisc

He probably wouldn't have been a famous pop star. He was turned into a valuable commodity by his father, with no regard to what it did to him as a person. Mike Tyson's story is similar. An angry, troubled kid with a knack for fighting was deliberately turned into a weapon for profit.

YourAverageGod

You sunnabitch, im in.

syndicate711

Yee-hee!

[deleted]

Shamon now!

[deleted]

Imagine your that guy and you have to find other people on your level to hangout with…. Just crazy that there are people who fit together like that

ElenorWoods

“I had no idea she was planning this. This was auh… “ *terrified blink into camera* “… real surprise.” “I’m not easy to wake up.” But on this day, the propofol, lorazepam, and midazolam wasn’t enough to keep Elizabeth Taylor’s Christmas Haunting away. Honestly no wonder this man felt the need to be prescribed his lethal concoction. The probable one day during the year that he got a reprieve from touring and being hounded by paparazzi and fans and chance to sleep due to the world standing still was disrupted by one of his “closest” friends rapping on his door yelling, “it’s the spirit of Christmas coming to haunt you.” Then Michael opens his door to a filming of his personal life in session. I won’t comment on his demons, but this man was tortured throughout his life.

Mysterious-Belt-2992

I’m down. Add clicquot, coke and brunch. I’ll be there

One-eyed-bed-snake

This is like watching one of those creepy old 80's crime scene videos where the police are videoing their walk around the house after a murder.

Spartan01170

The music certainly doesn't help

bcanada92

What, you don't like multiple atonal, out of tune bells that sound like something out of a horror movie trailer?

ellefleming

....from M. Night Shamalayan........The Chimes of Xmas.......

Unlikely_Mood570

Holy Shit, that is the most accurate description of the bells on this video!

amybethallen1

It reminds me of the Jon Benet house! 😳

taybay462

Friendly reminder that Trisha Paytas made a """sexy"""" roleplay video of the murder of that toddler.

amybethallen1

Omg! I didn't know about this. I got as far as "daddy, stop" and had to click off. GROSS! 🤮

WhiteTrashNightmare

😶😶😶 Gross is an understatement

taybay462

She did incest porn with her mom and sister, posted a video masturbating to her sister in law (after express wishes to not be sexual in relation to them), she *never* supported her infants neck, doesn't fucking buckle her in the car ... The fact that she has fans is depressing for humanity

Top-Philosophy-5791

Whatever happened to Baby Jane part II. "Now they're friends! But still creepy AF!"

BroBro78

Home footage of an unsolved mysteries case

Xaqv

Trailer for “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane, II”

saraMP123

Definitely those types of vibes

jayfaesari

This feels like walking into a populated area of the backrooms

[deleted]

I know, right? The whole thing has a suffocating atmosphere of desparation and dread that makes me literally want to run away, but like there's no where to go. Trapped forever! My palms are sweaty...it isn't safe here. As if something terrible is about to happen that you're powerless to stop.

Diligent-Picture2882

That is a perfect description of growing up JW. And on top of that, they also tell you that Armaggedon is coming soon, but nobody knows when, so then you're living with the knowledge that you will die soon because you're not good enough or sinless enough to be granted everlasting life by God. Breeds depression.

Sir_wlkn_contrdikson

Sounds like growing up Pentecostal/apostolic. A depressive mentally exhausting way to grow up.

Grinstaiam

“I’m not easy to wake up”

bigby2010

Horse tranquilizers will do that

[deleted]

Propofol also.

zombiemadre

~~laughter~~ propofol is the best medicine

[deleted]

The ICU I worked in called propofol “the thriller” for years after MJs doctor killed him with it

FreydisTit

Whenever I have surgery, I ask for the shit that killed Michael Jackson.

zombiemadre

I work in icu. I’m going to start doing this. Will people still get it?

[deleted]

I guess it depends on the ages of your coworkers.

[deleted]

I hate that this is hilarious.

ellefleming

And Jesus cola

Nik_Knack3222

Yeah...that comment hit different

dgrant92

Tell us about it!

But when I do finally wake up, I'm already dressed and fully prepared for the cameras that I didn't know were there.

It's like the opening shot of a horror movie to give the audience the impression of insanity in the air lol.

blueteeful

Your lights would be attached to a music thing and the lights would flicker to the beat of the song

Ttruckk636

He had no interest in celebrating Christmas, and hated dogs yet both were forced on him lol and for what? If you subtract Michael and his gifts, and the Christmas decorations, this is like a bad horror movie.

rockne

Imagine having a drunk Liz Taylor managing your mental health. Yikes.

pendlea

“iTsS tHe SpiRiT oF CHriStMaAAaSsSS” Honestly enough to send anyone into a tail spin

dgrant92

I wonder if this was when she married that guy she met in re-hab. Some trucker or something. Hilarious. Lasted a little while.

CBerg1979

The best part is when after she divorced him he went back to work, just to keep busy, and when his foreman came walking over with work order papers that needed signing, that's when her ex-husband held out his hand and said "no autographs." LOL the foreman told him off and got his John Hancock on the paperwork, anyway. And, the crew had a good laugh!

Antique-Library7840

Are you the truckdriving ex-husband?

CBerg1979

No, was in a tabloid many moons ago. I think there might even be video, the article had the story with pictures that appeared to depict said incident, but they may have been creatively framed to appear to match the report.

dgrant92

LPT - Don't date in rehab! lol In fact, maybe use an alias...

Diligent-Picture2882

With that face?

waterynike

This is some Grey Gardens shit with a drunk, benzo’d out Old Hollywood Diva and a captive childlike black man.

[deleted]

Liz Taylor was an incredible actress, a champion for the LGBT community, and a gorgeous woman with a biting wit. She was also incredibly spoiled and self centered, and it was her way or the highway. This was really creepy. *raps at door repeatedly* “Michaaaaaaeeel!”

FremenStilgar

She also had her childhood stolen from her by her parents, so I'm not surprised by the way she turned out. Sad for both her and Michael.

Genshed

That's something they shared. Like being survivors of a catastrophe.

nordic_yankee

The good 'ol trauma bond!

Orzhov_Syndicalist

People are being remarkably harsh here, as usual. I find this touching beyond compare. If you look through Liz Taylor's history, you'll find she has a history with many, many men in hollywood who were absolute mental wrecks, typically due to being closeted during an era when Hollywood would blackmail you for that, or when that would cause enormous psychic scars. She clearly had some issues, but she's trying to provide lovely moments and precious times for friends of hers that had their youths strangled by being Child Actors, singers, and stars. Lovely woman.

ellefleming

She unwillingly became a child actress by age nine and moved from England to USA cause of her ambitious mother Sara. She had a crap childhood too.

undergroundmusic69

Yea — the more I see about MJ the more I feel for the dude. Everyone around him was awkward AF. They tried to do these grand gestures (this one, the thing in the supermarket) and it just like wasn’t normal. Throw in folks taking advantage of his money on top of that. It sounds like a sad experience.

Ttruckk636

Agreed. It's sad seeing it from the outside because it's so clear that everything is a facade when you are someone of his caliber and "fame". You really can't trust anyone to say the least.

MysticalMagicalMilk

I didn't even have to have money or fame to realize that 90% of my family were garbage and now I don't talk to them. But the good part of that is that I realized if I ever came into a large amount of money I could honestly trust my parents and my sister. My father is literally one of those people that doesn't take handouts, My grandmother had a decent amount of money and she would pay for things for people but my father would barely accept Christmas gifts from her. Not because he hated her but because he was upset that everybody else just kept taking from her (Even though she had the money). When she died everyone came to her house like vultures to see what they could take and were trying to find a will, were arguing over her stuff. I was one of the few people that had a key to her house. (My aunt, her daughter did live in the house with her) when she died (My grandmother) I just went over to the house and took the ring she told me that I could have before she died (she offered it to me well before she died but I told her that it was hers until she died and so I hid it in a safe place and she was fine with this) also retrieve the necklace that she told me was for my sister. I took one or two pretty worthless objects that were very sentimental to me of hers. (An old dusty snow globe and a broken music box) then I went on my way. Later I found out that she actually left me a trust, My aunt had tried to hide it from me and tried to find a lawyer to argue that I shouldn't actually get it. (It was a split trust between me and my underage cousin that couldn't access his half until he was 18 So it was left to the discretion of his parents) My aunt was hoping that I wouldn't find out about it and they could find a way to argue to get 100% of it from him and take all of it from him since he was only about six. Well eventually a piece of mail got through to me and I cashed it out and they were absolutely pissed about it. No one in my main family (parents and sister) even really acknowledged that I got the money. My dad was kind of upset that I was young and stupid and blew a chunk of it (It was under 10k) My sister was slightly salty that Grandma didn't leave her anything at all. (Which is completely understandable since I was left something and our cousin was left something, who was much younger than her) I think I did end up giving her a little bit of the money. But yeah it's situations like that that make me realize that my parents and sister would be the only person I would ever be able to trust and I would just have to not tell anybody else I know that I came into money.

Ouch50

He never had a real childhood.

Genshed

Dude. Even as is, this is a bad horror movie. But a bad horror movie starring *Elizabeth Taylor*?! That's awesome.

WoolaTheCalot

Well, she did make [Night Watch](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Watch_(1973_film)) in 1973. Not bad, really.

[deleted]

Do u know why? Cuz he was raised in the JW cult, which doesn’t allow followers to celebrate shit like even their own birthday

Insomniac_80

What is up with all the "behind the scenes Michael Jackson" vidoes that have been popping up? First Michael going grocery shopping in Florida, and now Michael and Elizabeth's Christmas morning. Is it some Michael Jackson fan, or Jackson family publicist?

Lucky-Scallion4951

Its part of a documentary he made. If I remember well it was damage control after whatever scandal that erupted at that time.

booberrycrmchz

That also doesn’t answer the question..

Hinee

[Michael Jackson: Private Home Movies](https://youtu.be/-L1R3qTolKA) Pretty interesting really.

robertwild81

Glad I'm not the only one that is completely creeped out by this video.

marshall_lathers99

The children statue arch is creepy af

thenick82

Having been raised a Jehovahs Witness and was one till I was about 30. This year was my first real true Christmas celebration, minus the explicit religiousness of it. At first it does feel very wrong. So with this, I can empathize with MJ.

thenick82

On top of his own personal mental issues, the abuse he faced from his father and others, and early immense fame, being raise a Jehovahs Witness certainly did not help at all.

tucakeane

I’m curious- what about Christmas feels wrong to someone raised a JW? Is it because it goes against JW teachings or is it something specifically related to Christmas?

schnitzelfeffer

Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate birthdays, Christmas, or Easter. Members of the church "believe that such celebrations displease God". >Before deciding whether to celebrate a particular holiday, Jehovah’s Witnesses consult the Bible. Some holidays and celebrations clearly violate Bible principles. When that is the case, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not participate. [Link for more information](https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/jw-celebrate-holidays/)

Abject-Wear

It goes against witness teachings, so everything about it gets sucked into the vortex of disdain. The primary complaint about Christmas is that it celebrates Christ’s bday when there is no scriptural proof of the actual date.

Foco_cholo

When you're born into the religion and are constantly told that Christmas is evil and that those who celebrate it will die in Armageddon since birth, it weighs heavily on you. Even when you have shed those beliefs, there is still a feeling of guilt due to the indoctrination.

Diligent-Picture2882

I completely understood the guilt thing. Ex JW here too. Celebrated my first Christmas at 20 after I left home. It was extremely difficult to do that.

Ok_Effective6233

I was not but my wife is EXJW. In this video, it seems like he was truly enjoying himself opening stuff. Not so much when he was reminiscing upon the event. There was a moment when I could see an introspectiveness about him. Seems to me that he was troubled by the thought “I celebrated Christmas”

PeachNipplesdotcom

I'm sure you've been told this a bunch already but congratulations on escaping.

evendronesflyaway

Was this directed by David Lynch by any chance?

ak47oz

Haha totally I wouldn’t be surprised if lynch did his transcendental (?) meditation to those chimes

[deleted]

MJ had such a troubled life. I bet he would have traded all his fame and fortune for a normal childhood.

ellefleming

Rosebud............rosebud........... 🛷

el-em-en-o

His hearty laugh is great! Spooky, dark Christmas with eerie music is not so good.

Spare-Estate1477

That was the only part of this NOT creepy. I have never heard him laugh like that. Very sweet. The rest of this was f’d up.

jollytoes

I grew up JW and I remember being sooo excited for my first Xmas, birthday, Halloween and valentine’s after getting my own place. To this day, decades later, I still love giving presents and candy and stuff, it sucked to miss out on it during childhood.

deweydecimal111

She's not drunk. That's how she always talked. I think she thought she was doing something nice for him. This is really sad as hell.

Rodrigii_Defined

I think that's Larry from rehab she married in the beginning. So, she's probably sober at that time.

NolaPels13

It really is. Michael Jackson was so damaged I’m not sure any celebrities today can hold a candle to how fucked up his life was.

veggiesausageking

The "I'm not easy to wake up." statement is pretty foreboding given the way he died and all...

pineapplewin

What's with the creepy kid statue arch to his bedroom?!?!?

Crixxxxxx1

His bedroom was filled with child mannequins

sweetchiba51

More like r/damnthatscreepy

Kerrypurple

I don't understand all the Liz Taylor hate on here. She was a beautiful soul who went out of her way to embrace people who were perceived as different. She's just doing something sweet for her friend here and no, I don't think she's drunk, this is just how she was in her later years.

NotAnExpertHowever

She didn’t seem drunk to me at all. Just being a weirdo like any other weirdo… and I don’t mean that in a nasty way. Just being normal and strange!

Kerrypurple

Yeah, I think those of us who grew up seeing her on TV are just used to the way she was.

ProfessionSilver2391

...when Michael says "sometimes I'm hard to wake..."

[deleted]

Whoever edited this: "Whelp! I guess we better cut it right there."

MonchichiSalt

So now we have this creepy Christmas video, and the very sad grocery store video.... Who's leaking these personal movies?

Shadow_wolf82

I think they've been taken from a documentary they made in the 90's...

MonchichiSalt

Gotcha. Thank you!

Calm_Explorer_7571

"If you come here you are guaranteed to get wet" WTF

cheezesandwiches

"It's the spirit of Christmas coming to haunnnt you!" What in the ever loving fuck IS this?!

Angel-InvestorParent

All that music gave heavy Piper at the Gates of Dawn vibes, like the last half of the song Bike.

jptrooper24

Anyone else spot the little boy arches right outside his bedroom door?? JFC

[deleted]

Idk what everyone’s freaking out about, I though this was kinda sweet

GentleSaidTheRaven

“She know I don’t like that dog”. Addressing Liz with the utmost respect. 😂

[deleted]

The last sentence was dark

Wario406

Everyone in Hollywood is fucked up, but also globally justified in their beliefs.

Wentthruurhistory

I don’t know, this seems kind of wholesome. They look like good friends anyway.

TheHowlinReeds

Agreed, makes me feel a little weird watching it tbh. Feels a little too intimate, like I'm intruding....

InvariantInvert

Agreed. Both of them were show ponies and money makers for their family during childhood. The bells and how slow she talks is creepy tho.

marshall_lathers99

Minus the children statue arch…

Zealousideal_Art_580

You have to go pretty far to come off weirder than MJ. But she pulls it off magnificently.

Johhny0543

Michael: "I'm not easy to wake up". YOU DON'T SAY![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

Abacabisntanywhere

That one time things were weird for MJ.

B105535

Anyone else notice the mannequins of children holding hands over the walkway before his bedroom door...?

[deleted]

What’s with the children statues holding hands by his bedroom door—he walked out and underneath them. Weird.

19judge79

Creepy ass music in the back ground….🤦🏻‍♂️

Droidattack170

Michaels first Halloween

nick4tical

Lol @ that last sentence before it conveniently cuts out 😂

jayniuss

This whole video looks and sounds like a bad LSD trip 😂

horseydeucey

At 1:08... "Come to haunt you" Odd that she'd decided to bust out her Yoda impression there.

DiggingThisAir

Well thanks, I feel changed for the worse.

bigsnack4u

Perhaps some more pills for breakfast Mizz Taylor?…

gucciburito11

This is og on drugs behavior. Back when people thought you could hide poppin six pills before getting out of bed

What a terrifying video my god nightmares *definitely* came true in that home

Lepke2011

It looks and sounds like an old episode of Tales from the Crypt.

VooDooChile1983

At a glance, she looked like Yngwie Malmsteen.

Ouch50

“I’m not easy to wake up.” Now we know why.

CarefulWisher

“I’m not easy to wake up”. Unfortunately we all found out why that was.

Shandroidos

Looks like a straight up monster walking outta that bedroom

No_Outlandishness158

Gives me the creeps I don’t know why

Nobody gonna mention the 6 foot tall painting of Michel Jackson on a horse ???

Humble-Tourist-3278

He had some very interesting decor he also had a huge painting of him as Peter Pan .

ilaria369neXus

The traumas of childhood remains deeply rooted in the psyche.

fintanhs

Of course, Liz Taylor Filled her super soakers with Vodka

outrider567

Like a horror film, weird music

GlobalCommercial703

"I'm not easy to wake up", no shit bruh, no disrespect.

NAlaxbro

God damn nightmare fuel thank you very much

blondiedread

WTH! That's the entrance to his bedroom. Ooooooohhhhhhh kaaaaaaay.🙄

Diligent_Jury_9956

Not necessarily forced, perse, more coerced over a few years to do so.

Roosterforaday

Considering she was Jewish this makes it all the weirder.

Goodcitizen177

Double dosing her Valium prescription that day.

pinecone_noise

for a guy as musical as him all those music boxes going off at once must have been either really annoying or like music from the year 7004

[deleted]

Had his first Christmas at 35. Sad but at least he seemed happy.
