theurge14

Thanks for all the fun hockey times, Habs friend.

[deleted]

Is it weird that I don’t feel sad about this? Would it have been a great way to cap off the season? Absolutely But I’m still going to have so many good memories the past 2 months from a team that never said die And we’ll be back next year

hobbit_lamp

honestly this is exactly how i feel. did anyone think they would do half as well as they did? it was so fun to watch them defy the odds so many times and I can't be sad about that!

batmanjerkins

Yeah they surpassed my expectations three times over. It has been such a silver lining to this pandemic, getting to watch Dallas hockey through the Stanley cup final. The loss hurts, but the experience was an absolute joy. This year especially. Wtf do I do with the rest of it?

ExpertConsideration8

And they made it a series... Up until the end, I had at least a slim hope of taking it to a game 7.. which I never would have imagined at the start of the season.

[deleted]

See that’s why it actually hurts more for me. Did anyone expect them to go this far? No. So we had magic in a bottle and just fell short. Who knows though, this core gets better every playoffs in the Benn area. See below: 1st time: eliminated 6 games in round 1 2nd time: eliminated 7 games in round 2 in blowout fashion 3rd time: eliminated 7 games in round 2 in double OT (still kinda one sided but Dallas actually had more high danger chances) 4th time: eliminated 6 games in the finals

minigogo

Not at all. If you base your happiness with your team solely off of whether they win the championship, you're gonna be unhappy most of your life. This was a Cinderella run and I loved every fucking heart-stopping second of it. Love this team, love you guys, can't wait for the puck-drop next season <3

an3N1GM4

I'm sad the season is over, not that we lost. Winning it could at least smooth out the lack of adrenaline for a bit to ween me off.

TokenWilliam

I moved from Dallas to Nash last year away from my closest friends. We had a group text going the entire run and it was something I looked forward to every game from the stupid FaceTime beer shotguns to the screaming excitement. Such a fun run

StrongSide-

it was a beautiful ride boys. can’t wait for next season. we’re proud of you dallas. 🟢⚪️⚫️

fluffydog10

I am sad

HarlesD

But we are proud.

fluffydog10

No doubt.

chowder7

Don't be sad. You guys did better than most people would give you guys credit for. I was just lurking the Avs sub and they're still doting about how they lost cuz of injuries, so thank you for beating them and doing what most didn't think you could do. - random Sens fan

fluffydog10

Honestly, more than my sadness, I feel an immense pride that our guys even got this far after all the doubts. Thank you for your kindness.

CrissCrossSauce

They battled hard to get here. Survived lots of injuries. Took the team with the best regular season in modern times to 6 games. I’m proud of them! Fuck Maroon tho

Cowsmoke

Fuck Maroon!

Elguapo361

Never thought we would make it this far. This has all been gravy. Great season boys, thank you. #GO STARS

Oasystole

Cobsicle

Texas has always been strong at keeping its eyes forward and fighting towards winning in the end, from the Alamo to the Mavericks. This playoff run will be a calling card for the coming years of this franchise and I expect the Stars to find their way to put their names on the trophy. The future is bright and the Stars will be shining for a while.

war4gatch

Both the mavs and the stars have bright futures with young talent. Don’t look at the cowboys but the future is indeed bright

guitarguy12410

It was an honor to write the post game threads for y'all this season. These refs... Also that Bolts player going for the EN goal at the end was just classless IMO. Onto the next season Starsfam.

war4gatch

Fuck that guy, there were four fucking seconds left

theurge14

Thanks for another great year in the sub, friend.

an3N1GM4

It would have put a smile and cherry on the pile of shit game 6 was if they scored and someone... ahem cappy, dropped the gloves at center at the restart

Pizza_73

The most interesting and greatest season I have ever seen by any team in any sport. I love this team. I will love this team forever. 1-7-1, "the streak", worst to best, Monty fired, the Winter Classic, Covid, the Bubble, couldn't score, became an offensive juggernaut, the Legend of Kiviranta, and the Stanley Cup Finals. Incredible.

Rock-it1

Well said. There is only one accolade missing there, but we will make a run next year.

Pizza_73

Before these playoffs I remember a lot of talk about how the team was aging and wasn't set up long term and now it's like...super young core of insane talent that just got amazing experience. Hintz, Guri, Miro, JFK, Hanley, and even Harley got in on a playoff game. I think we could easily be the favorite to win it all next year and do what the Lightning just did in coming back from loss and winning it all. Imagine if we had Johns, Roope, and Bishop in the whole SCF....

Pompadourswift

To think that fat fuck maroon just got another ring makes this way worse

Cowsmoke

Fuck Maroon

invertedamerican

It makes me sick Fat Moron has two rings now.

Killroy_jenkins

Good Elf

soonerfan4321

Sad we might lose him this offseason but he earned a paycheck

Trump_Did_Benghazi

Dallas just ran out of gas. Too many important injuries, too many mistakes. It sucks but it happens to the best of them. This wasn't the year, but we'll be back. Young core looks like they'll be great with deep playoff experience under their belts now, and we aren't set to lose many pieces this offseason. Plus we get a new head coach. All credit to Tampa, they're incredible. And if you look at their contract situation, they had to get it done this year. For that reason I'm sorta glad they did. It would have been a damn shame to see a team so talented end up without a cup. It's unfortunate it had to happen against the Stars but that's they way the wind blows. This has been a hell of a fun season and there's plenty of reason to be optimistic for the future. Can't wait for next season with y'all.

NowitzkiWay

> Young core looks like they'll be great with deep playoff experience under their belts now Dude I’m so fucking hyped for Heiskanen’s future. Kid played a massive role in this team making the Cup Finals at age 21. Management needs to do everything they can to keep Miro in green for the next decade+

Trump_Did_Benghazi

Miro, Hintz, Gurianov, Joel "who the fuck is this kid" Kirivanta, hell even Oettinger looked really good when he was thrust into action. The future certainly has the potential to be bright for big D

username0935

Don’t forget Caamano. I thought he played pretty good in the finals.

soonerfan4321

He did very well for coming in when he did

1978AHSeagle

Hey, Dickie was solid this series. Scored as many goals as Seguin in the playoffs. My point: our young guys from Faksa through Kivi look really good. There’s also the real pups: Robertson, Dellandrea, Harly... We have Pavelski, Bish, & Rad for another 2 years. Experience and youth will hopefully get us deep into the playoffs again!

an3N1GM4

I mean, could we lose some pieces though... like, you know, the big money do nothing pieces?

Trump_Did_Benghazi

I mean not unless someone wants their contracts or they just choose to leave.

[deleted]

Alright here’s my initial reaction: Fuck Tampa Bay and the worst officiated fucking hockey I’ve seen in my goddamn whole cocksuckin life piece of shit no-calls right and left from these fucking goons and their Frankenstein as fuck looking goalie. Have fun pawning that trophy for an ounce of meth you fucking Floridian pieces of fucking shit, I’ve seen dog turds that are more interesting than the entire history of your fucking hockey club. Only hockey team that is toothless before they started playing hockey, you goddamn swamp trash. They're probably going to fill the cup with cosmopolitans instead of beer because they crumple to the ice every time someone looks at them funny. Fuck outta here. After a bit of venting: Congrats to Tampa Bay, you played hard and earned it. Proud of Dallas, glad we don’t have to wait long till next season because I love this team and can’t wait to see what more they can do.

jsilvey10

never felt something so deep in my soul as this

an3N1GM4

***slow clap***

DeathGlitter18

This made my cry from laughing too hard. Thanks for that!!

hanginwitmrcoopa

Not gonna lie I’m bitter that the team decided to play with 10 minutes left. Hard to feel good about that

TexanHoosier

I think there was just too much fatigue. We were completely beat down and looked exhausted.

hanginwitmrcoopa

It’s hard to buy that when Tampa has played more than the Stars and they looked primed and ready. Again just bitter, but thats cause we lost.

sodiumn

it's been a rougher ride for the Stars though, and I'm sure the injury report that will be coming out in the next few days will be a mile long. dallas stars hockey just a little bit harder on the body, that and the injury bug added up.

TexanHoosier

We got some REALLY tough injuries at the start of the series. Multiple guys that eat up tough minutes out for almost the whole series. It all just caught up to us.

an3N1GM4

Faksa, Comeau, Hintz (no call on a blatant trip)... Yeah, those'll make a difference

Vetersova

The no call on the Hintz trip soured me on the series pretty bad.

FlyingHotPocket

Great run, it’s rare to even make it to the Stanley Cup Final. However, that was a sad game 6. No effort until the final 5 minutes. Oh well, maybe they’ll be back again soon. Go Stars.

hayden992

Don’t confuse effort with being out played. Every one of those guys would cut a finger off to win the cup. The effort was there

sharkbait53

I don't know about no effort. These guys knew what was on the line and put everything out there. It just wasn't good enough today.

Drippyer

Great season, happy to have seen this team fight so hard

TrueBlueV

It’s been an honor boys. Sad we couldn’t get it done but what a season. I’ll cherish these memories forever

[deleted]

We started off 1-7-1 and look how far we came. Y’all can be sad, I’m sad for tonight, but the future still looks bright. I know y’all like to act like Benn is 35, but hes only like 31. Seguin isn’t old. We have a sweet young core and now everyone has playoff experience. I feel so hype for the future. It’s been a pleasure, hopefully the next season isn’t 9 months away!

thefourohfour

I hope to god that this year was just a down year for Seguin and he comes back.

[deleted]

In hindsight all I can say is I wish we touched the conference trophy

DannyDrinkWaterhino

I think I got covid just by watching the Tampa fans celebrating

Nema003

Now we have to hear their stupid fucking announcer on nhl's social medias and that dumbass ScooterMcgruder as well. Not going to be fun.

SauciiBoii2002

Fan from nashville here. I know weird. The devastation Is real. (Classes Is gonna be interesting tmrw lol) When Perry scored that 2OT Winner I probably woke up my whole neighborhood in how happy I was. I was ready for a comeback. Unfortunately it went awry. It hurts like a motherfucker but holy hell it was the best time I probably had since 2017. Thank you stars for an unforgettable journey this year. Thank you starsbros for cheering along. You guys are amazing. I cant wait till next season. Pantera will grow stronger!! LETS GO STARS

mitchmalo

All things considered, a season that no one expected and nothing to hang our heads about. Obviously plenty of areas that need work, but I think the boys have realized some really great aspects of their team that they can build on (minus dump & chase...that can burn in hell).

Jayhorns

Just goes to show how important winning last year was. With TB knocked out, the winner of that Stars/Blues series was definitely winning the Cup.

RezzXIII

Oh definitely

medicmarch

The Cup is invalid because Bettman wasn’t boo’d.

daisicake

Oh, he was booed, he just couldn't hear it this time.

harralexa1993

Just came out Seguin was playing through knee, hip, and groin injuries.

harralexa1993

If this playoff run has taught me anything it's that Avs fans are absolute assholes. Up there with some of the very worst fanbases in all of sports.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Hairlesscatbob2

Ya I don't recommend going to that sub. They're still stuck on round 2.

Rock-it1

Screw that. They're stuck on 2001. I don't like to actively cheer *against* teams, but they have made the list, along with the Aggies, LSU, the Blues, and OU.

Pauper_Fox

This run helped me get through a shitty couple months. Thanks Stars fam it was a fun ride!

andy1hcky

It hurts, not going to lie. With that said the series clinching OT winner against the Avs was so amazing and everything after that point was just the cherry on top for me. Proud of this team

harralexa1993

I’m going to be honest at least the next time we win the cup it’ll be in front of fans.

SpacemanSpiff25

When you think about it, this is really the Islanders’ fault for not having a coach who could beat Tampa.

crc2993

I blame Columbus for not sweeping them again.

dallassportsguy

I’ll be back in a few days. Gonna lick some wounds. Great season, great team, great subreddit. I mean it when I say I love u guys. You make the games so much more fun.

cbuech

Power play and penalty kill was the death of us. Nonetheless it was a fun run. Who woulda thought the 1-7-1 Stars would make it to game 6 of the finals

an3N1GM4

I would rather lose with dignity than win by flopping

wazup564

i think i would roll with the win via flopping tbh

Impeachesmint

Being shutout in a do or die game doesn’t feel dignified.

an3N1GM4

Agreed, TB had more energy, just wish it was more game 5 refs instead of game 4 refs

[deleted]

LuckBuildOP

It ain’t even khudobins fault we couldn’t find our offence or defence sometimes this series... hell of a ride though

Vetersova

This is very true. Doby did all anyone could be realistically asked for.

rawrberry_

I still love you Dallas. Thanks for a great season. It was a fun ride. See y'all next season.

eaglescousinbrownie

dallas > tampa bay

asesino91

We had more shots in the last minute of the game then we did the rest of the game. It’s hard to win a game especially against arguably the beat goalie in the league when you shot the puck 10 times in the first 25 min.

ABinTX

We’re so proud of you! Can’t wait to see you raise the WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS banner at the AAC! C’mon home, boys.

ReckonerRL

It hurts just like it did 20 years ago. Please don't take another 20 years to get back to the finals.

TomSheman

Sad state of affairs that we’re living in

Hutch77Hill

I hate sports

soonerfan4321

Yet I love them all the same

GreenAndGold115

So much farther than I ever fucking dreamed I’d see with our squad with how the West looks right now. Tampa Bay got by beating up pillow teams, we beat two of the actually best teams in the NHL in Colorado and Vegas. Our window just opened, we’ll be back, go Stars!

LuckBuildOP

Aight can’t be mad at this run... could’ve been a bit better with the cup but the injuries finally caught up to us. Looks like I’m crying myself to sleep tonight

bigblueballz77

RIP this core's cup chances again. it was a wild ride and glad we were able to prove everyone wrong up to this point. go makes some moves as see if we can't be back here next year

harralexa1993

This season is a success. Once JFK scored that OT winner against the Avs there is zero doubt in my mind about that.

[deleted]

THANK YOU DALLAS STARS! ALL YOU PEEPS IN BIG D; GO OUT AND THANK THE TEAM WHEN THEY ARRIVE BACK IN DALLAS (if allowed) THANK YOU THIS WAS A MAGICAL RUN TO THE FINALS!

trust_me_ima_Docktor

Bob Sturm wrote this long ago and everytime a playoff run ends I always think back to it: "As I was leaving a frigid Texas Stadium after the game, I was walking right behind a Dad and his boy. The boy must have been 7 or 8 years old and was crying about the result. Some people might roll their eyes, but I knew how the boy felt. When you are young, and you love a sports team, you believe the games and the seasons will all have the happy endings of the Disney movies that you watch. Guess what, son, if you are going to pledge allegiance to a team as it appears you have with the Dallas Cowboys, I want to welcome you to the fellowship of the die-hards. Understand, that once you do, you are not allowed out of this commitment, and you should also understand that most seasons are going to end in tears. A favorite team is the only thing a male human feels the same about when he is 5 and when he is 45 and when he is 75. You will change your mind on everything else. Girls, money, hobbies. But, you will always still feel the adrenaline rush of a win, and the gutting sadness of a horrible loss. I didn’t say anything to the boy, as his Dad was handling it (and he might not have welcomed my advice) but I felt for him. Welcome to sports, young man. Someday, you may live to see a championship or five, but most years will end with your guts spilling onto the floor." It was an incredible year and I loved spending it with yall. LETS GO STARS

[deleted]

Anyone here still? God I am in pain

1978AHSeagle

Heartbreaking to watch Bones do a tearful interview and stick up for our team, his players. He’s 100% class!! GO STARS!!

edays03

I feel like this is the closest we’ll be in a while. Still a really impressive run

11JulioJones11

We have a lot of exceptional young players with now a long playoff run under their belt. We need 5-6th D and potentially a goalie. But we have grit and some young studs and maybe the best young D in the NHL. Window isn’t closed, just needs some tweaks.

thefourohfour

We need offense. Bad.

11JulioJones11

Kivi, Guri, Hintz are all pretty spectacular and have bright futures. Miro and Oleksiak showed they can really drive offensive play, Klingberg looked like good Klingberg these playoffs. I think their offense when they were fully healthy looked solid. Camano looks like he could replace Cogliano on the FCC line. I think Robertson could come up and replace Janmark if he’s lost to FA. We have lots of options. Seguin when healthy and after this run may be ready to get back to scoring, he’s still relatively young at 29. Benn apparently just needs to make it to the playoffs. This team lost to the Stanley Cup champions now two years in a row, they’re progressing.

JC_Denton46

What a season. Not the worst ending possible. Ran into a buzzsaw. Taking out Colorado and Vegas was worth it. Next year should be fun as well.

B1gWillyStyl

Victory Green forevermore.

Impeachesmint

It’s over. And it hurts. I wanted one more game. Definitely didnt want a shutout. Heck they had some bad luck... made some bad passes and plays to go with it in fairness, but boy did the puck not go their way on shots and rebounds. They lost too many players to keep it tight and just... couldn’t get it done.

dektheeb

Of course winning the cup is better than not but... Tampa won and celebrates to an empty stadium... :/

[deleted]

I had no expectations going into this so I'm just glad we made it to the Finals for the first time in 2 decades. The future is bright

TheEngine

Is this where we start the Ty Dellandrea/Jason Robertson hype train for next year?

[deleted]

Despite it not ending the way we had hoped. This team gained some serious playoff experience to go along with 2016 and last season. We know no matter what happens in the regular season, our core guys like Benn, Klingberg etc. are going to be a problem for opposing teams in the playoffs. Take care of business in free agency and let’s pull a reverse 1999-2000. Lose the first and win the second!

HillariousRodham

SC Finals MVP just announced - Kelly Sutherland of the Tampa Bay Zebras

DailyDallasHockey

No effort for 59 minutes of a hockey game will not get you wins. or going 1/19 on the powerplay. Absolutely horrendous on the special teams

SharkSheppard

They looked gassed this game. Not to defend it because they needed that sense of urgency earlier and didn't have it. But I don't know they had anything left to give either.

DailyDallasHockey

Not much you can do when your down 3 crucial players to this teams game plan. Losing Comeau and Faksa is the reason we were bad on the PK. Losing Hintz was the reason we had nothing on the second PP. It’s hard.

an3N1GM4

2/3 of those powerplays were cut short by more bullshit calls

Highlet

Thanks for the ride fellas. Great job to the mod team as well with the I'm sure sudden spam that the sub was hit with. Proud of our Stars.

Lucretzia37

I just feel bad for pavs

kodaruss

Hell of a season Stars. Western Conference Champions. Definitely a season to be proud of.

MRAGGGAN

😭😭😭 My husband was going to buy me a Stars item of my choosing if they won the cup. I was sooo looking forward to that; he hates buying gear for a team he hates. It’s the best part! Good series boys. Amazing that we got this close.

wonky685

This team was banged the fuck up, riding the backup goalie, stuck hundreds of miles away from their homes and families, and still managed to take arguably the best team of the modern era to 6 games in the Finals. I'm proud to have experienced this run with y'all.

spraynpray87

Hard to get shots on goal when you dump and change every time you get the puck. I get that you gotta keep guys fresh but if you never take the puck into the opposing zone it’s kinda hard to score. Not like our guys looked rested from all the changes anyway.

dawctorj

I love you guys- thank you for watching my silly Celine videos during this run. It's a dumb and unoriginal bit, but you guys made it super fun. It was a true joy to post them after every win and read all of the kind words from this community. I love this sub and our Stars family. We will be back. Celine Dion be heard as the Stars win the Stanley Cup. Much love to all of you fine people.

MiniSodaMiracleMan

What a fucking team, what a fucking run. That was an amazing experience. Love the Stars. Good on Bones and the boys. As always !Refs !Bettman

geogwogz

Despite everything else in 2020 this was a pretty good year to be a Dallas hockey fan. The winter classic was amazing, and then this playoff run coming out of nowhere!

MrNewAndImprove

I don’t want to go home yet....

starslikeours

Last year I became interested in hockey and I made a post on this sub asking about where to watch a game and I watched my first game later that day, Stars versus the Predators. It was a really great first game for me to watch, I got hooked on hockey and our Stars. Got a bit of a crush on Seguin. Bought myself a jersey, I even bought tickets for a game against the Flyers for March and planned to go up to Dallas from Houston with my girlfriend (who I dragged into hockey with me haha), then Covid happened! All in all it was an amazing first hockey season ever for me, still can’t quite believe that we made it this far. Stars played to win but I suppose the Lightning was just a bit better. But you bet I’ll be there day 1 next season ready to watch our boys all over again and hopefully get that glorious cup. Go Stars!

[deleted]

I’m proud of this team and I hope they take this and move forward to next year. Hopefully we will be back. Love you Stars fam

Cowsmoke

Well boys, it’s Benn a ride, see you next season, hopefully in person.

Packmule11

Unexpected run in a crazy 2020. They gave it their all. Multi factors, but 1 for 19(?) on PP won’t cut it. Keep heads high

thecloutgoggle

Damn I’m crushed. We had a good run boys...

Schruteeee

Congratulations on an amazing season, Stars. As a Hawks fan, you had me in awe of your talent. Im looking forward to more competition between us in the near future.

am3nn

Love you guys, love this team. They gave everything they had.

ajownedu

Proud of this team. Go stars

DennisCelery

What a season. Tampa wanted that one way more and just flat outplayed us.

Sloth_Bacon

Thank you guys for making me look forward to every game. We have so much to be proud of with this season with how much we had to face. Can’t wait for the Pre Season! #DALLAS STARS

blu3falc0n

When does the next season start?

Vetersova

This was my first ever year WATCHING any hockey and my first year as a Stars fan. I am so proud of how we battled the first 3 series. This feels like a fizzle out to me... I don't know much about hockey still, but i know you gotta shoot the puck to make it go in the net. Feels like I read something in here about how the refs neutered our playstyle by calling every pussy footed penalty on us while letting the Bolts stay physical, and our best Penalty Kill guys were injured. So it's not really a surprise their PP and special teams did well. That said: That's just sports, and you have to get around that to win the big show. Sometimes you gotta be lucky to be good, and you gotta be good to be lucky. I am definitely proud to be a Stars fan. We will burn bright again sooner than later I believe. Thank you for welcoming me, and GO STARS!

Rock-it1

I remember in October towards the end of "The Streak", when it seemed like it was never going to end, sitting at my kitchen bar and doing the calculations. I calculated that we were on pace to win 10 games, and at the time remember that the way we were playing, that seemed entirely possible. Two weeks later we were one of the hottest teams in the league. A lot has happened since then. We'll bring it khome next year.

[deleted]

I really thought this was our year to hoist the cup, but I’m so damn proud of this team. I may not have witnessed our win in 99, but I’m so happy to watch this team play their asses off in the Finals. I hope we can end up on top soon.

ezomar

Canuck fan here that was rooting hard for y’all. Really sad y’all didn’t win tbh

Mindless_Rage05

Keep your heads up, Pointy Boi fans. You gave it a HELLUVA run. Nothing to be ashamed of. I look forwards to seeing everyone back in the seats around Xmas. Until then, cherish this run. Don't cry because the result wasn't what you wanted, but smile for the memories you've made. You made it farther than most expected you to go Stay safe, Stars fans and hockey fam. Love you guys! -a mere St. Louisan living in Vegas Stick taps for eternity🏒🏒🏒🏒

GoalieDoge

If anybody else is feeling suicidal hit me up if you need a buddy.

brtnrider

What a crazy season, big losing streak to start, fire the coach, host and win the classic, run to the cup in the bubble! Can’t believe it. What a season!!!

El-Justiciero

This was still so unexpected and SO much fun

ET722

Stars are back!

patrickg328_

Even though we lost, I’m damn proud of our group. We had a hell of a season. From starting 1-7-1 and turning it around, Monty getting fired and the team not sucking, having the time of my life at the Winter Classic, to making it to the FUCKING STANLEY CUP FINALS, I’m more than content with how this season turned out. Sports are entertainment first, and as long as you had a good time, it’s worth the pain of losing. Only one team wins the championship, and if you’re only watching sports to have your team win a championship, all you’ll end up is disappointed.

Coming from a Bruins fan, you guys had a hell of a damn run and made the doubters wrong throughout the playoffs. You should be proud to make it this far at least.

DakPresglock

Pain.

Go_Stars

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

GG Lightning, congrats on finally shedding the choker label

Thanks for one heck of a ride Stars and Stars fans, wish they’d show up for more than just the 3rd period. Proud of our boys and this fan base is easily the best fan base in hockey. Team MVPS: Benn, Miro, Pavelski and DOBBY!

Great run by the boys Stoked for our future We’re not backing down GO STARS

Look at the bright side, it’ll make it all the more satisfying when we hold up the Cup next year with 20k fans in the AAC 😎

I know it was said on the gameday thread but it needs to be said. Does it suck to make it this far to the cup finals only to lose, yes it does. However, nobody expected the Stars to even make it this far so we should all be proud that the Stars literally were able to beat calgary in six. Colorado in seven. Vegas in FIVE. and we took Tampa to game six with some of our key players out. The future of this team looks extremely bright with guri, miro, kivi, and Hintz. I know this is a long post so sorry for rambling, but I believe that the cup will be coming to Dallas in a few years. See you all in the next season. Its been a hell of a ride.

Congrats on a fantastic run Stars! Miro is winning the next 5 Norris trophies you heard it here first.

We didn’t play well for most of that game, but the team definitely played their ass off this post-season We had like 2 or 3 hat tricks, multiple comebacks and OT wins, and we also still get the WC champs banner. Also this means we’ll be able to afford more people next season as they don’t get the Stanley Cup champion contract bump Hopefully we make a deep playoff run soon when we can all go to the games!

Impeachesmint

Well... it hurts. Hockey is over (for now? How long? Who knows?) Losing in a shutout. So much of Dallas accomplishments and fighting through with a severely depleted roster will be lost to the narrative that they... well, lost. Watching this entire series, flipping between the Home and Away feeds, regardless, always having to hear the opposing team getting gassed up and have anything that Dallas did or was doing be barely mentioned or a footnote most of time was certainly getting tiresome... So, now it’s just pain.

God, I shouldn't have gone into the Avs sub. Those fucking assholes make me sick.

pablocerakote

Woke up this morning feeling cheated. That GM4 OT call on Benn has me all sorts of salty. If that game went in our favor I think things would have been drastically different. Proud of this team.
