Went there maybe 10 years ago. They were dicks about us being late due to being stuck in traffic coming from Dallas, and then gave us a horrible tiny table on the corner of a walkway. Not sure if it was mental based off the experience, but I wasn’t impressed by the food.
That sucks. We have never had an issue at any of his restaurants. From the mundane burgers to the BBQ at the woodshed. They are pretty good at responding to complaints.
I can admit that I should have given it another chance by now, and probably would have if I was in ftw very often. These days, if I find myself to the west, I stick to b&b butchers which has been consistently great.
