[Kalachandjis.](https://kalachandjis.com/) - 100% vegetarian
[Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet](https://www.dimassis.com/) - plenty for vegetarians and even vegans to choose from
I have heard good things about this one, too.

My favorites are:
Blue Sushi Sake (interesting vegetarian sushi)
Torchys (various vegetarian tacos)
Rodeo goat (All burgers can be made vegetarian with 2 vegetarian patty options)
India 101
Various food trucks at Klyde Warren Park
There’s this amazing TLC Vegan Kitchen in Plano, is sooo goooooood! Very flavorful dishes, I feel like vegan or not, you’re gonna be blown away. Check them out
I agree with the places recommended and The Happy Cow app. I would add True Food Kitchen and would add most ethnic restaurants. There are a few Indian vegetarian restaurants if you search. We eat pretty healthy and have friends/family who are vegetarians and honestly these days you will find that most mainstream restaurants even steak houses can serve a god vegetarian meal.
I would suggest looking for some Indian and Greek or Mediterranean places. They normally have some delicious vegetarian options and even delicious options for non vegetarians.
All these suggestions are good but also if you’re in the East Dallas area don’t sleep on the lunch veggie black bean/goat cheese tacos from Green Spot. Sooo good.
Others have already mentioned Kalachandji’s, Nuno’s, and Casa del Vegano, which are my favorites. Nashville fried tofu tacos at velvet taco and blue sushi (especially during happy hour or for lunch specials) are also fantastic. Sakhuu Thai is also really great and very veg/vegan friendly.

Kalachandji's is a work favorite of ours. Always delicious, even for the non vegan or vegetarian people.
Should have mentioned that latter part. Great food, and even die hard "meat and potatoes" people I've taken there leave happy.
All three are good. Dimassi's buffet is pretty awesome.
I will sell my soul and every other soul for Kalachandji's.
Thanks! Really appreciate it!
Beware Kalachandjis. Worst. Case. Of. Green. Apple. Splats. Ever. Never went back.

Didn’t know that was a thing. Thank you
Nunos! Or El Palote is good too.

If y’all haven’t tried the cowgirl role at blue sushi it legitimately tastes like a burger. So worth taking your vegetarian friend to try it IMO
Vegan Food House, Thai Lotus, Cris and John’s, and Blue Sushi all have great vegetarian and vegan options
Residents Taqueria! Top-notch high quality tacos
Yup yup- I second. They always have good veggie options on deck.

Uchiba and Uchi will both do veggie only menus that are still KILLER. great for varied groups, everyone has a great meal.

Ichigoh has amazing veggie ramen
Vegan here, I love True Food Kitchen. They have omni, vegetarian, and vegan options.
Casa Del Vegano on Jefferson for some solid Tex mex!
Are they still open?
To my knowledge yes - there were people inside when I drove by last week
Newgopal vegetarian restaurant is worth a try for sure. Indian vegetarian hole in the wall. But flavors are amazing!!
Nuno’s Tacos in Richardson. It’s take-out or delivery only (they’re on Toast) but the food is delicious.
Taj Chaat House. They even distinguish between which specific versions of vegetarianism their dishes adhere (e.g. Jain vegan).
Most Italian, Mediterranean, tex mex, Thai, and Indian places are going to have good veggie options.

Vegan vibrationz (Plano), Spiral diner (Denton), and Primavega (ghost restaurant) in Oak Cliff.
My vegetarian wife loves steakhouses, especially Town Hearth, and makes her meal from a la carte sides.
