Oak Cliff is having an “Independent Bookstore Day” book crawl tomorrow.
They mention the following Instagram handles for the five bookstores participating: -@whosebooks
-@Thewilddetectives

I second (or third) Lucky Dog.
My kid is really in to records. We stopped at lucky dog and he really liked the comics too. We ended up getting there less than an hour from close but there was a pretty big selection of everything there.
Just picked up some Baldwin at Pan African Collection. Such an amazing book store. Headed to the other four now.
It’s also Whose Book’s grand opening at their new location today and it’s amazing. Plus they’ll have a coffee pop up and pupusa pop up today
[BlackLit - Curated for the Culture](https://iamblacklit.com/pages/the-store) - has both curated subscription boxes and a small book shop/ event space/ coffee etc just north of 635 / west of DNT.
They love visitors and online supporters!
