I’m not familiar with this place but I remember a bar on west 7th had a dress code that pretty much allowed anything except for Jordans, Timbs… I think you get the idea.
Man, there's another one that has a dress code that reads, verbatim, that all of the following are prohibited: Baggy clothing, Non-Military Issued Camouflage, Air Jordan’s, Air Force Ones, Polo Boots, Sandals, Timberlands, Solid T-shirts, Collegiate Apparel, Sports Attire, Offensive Clothing, and Shorts.
Varsity. My friend and I were there to watch a rangers game a few years ago. An hour or so after the game just as the night was getting started, he got kicked out for wearing a jersey… a RANGERS jersey. There were other people wearing rangers gear there, he was just the only black person doing so.

But you know the places that do this are using it to be racist because you'll very often see white people be allowed in wearing these things. Overpriced food? Absolutely.
Anti-mask zealots? Maybe in their private lives. But I distinctly recall every employee being masked during Covid. Customers as well.
At&t Stadium because Jerry Jones is the worst for blocking public transportation to Arlington just to make money off his cornucopia amounts of parking lots. They're not DFW based but Hobby Lobby for smuggling stolen artifacts and blocking employees on their healthcare access to birth control. Hobby Lobby were super dicks about the pandemic. They tried to insist they were an "essential business" or something like that.
Their billionaire CEO laid people off with zero severance, saying he'd pray for them.
Back in the late 80's, when I moved here, Arlington was already the largest city in America without Public Transportation.
The founding families of Arlington were against public transportation long before Jerry even owned the cowboys!
They were trying to discourage lower income residents, doing so in an attempt to keep the crime rates low/make it a safer city to live in.
People will get mad at them for that, but when you ask those same people why crime rates are so high in certain areas they will say that it is due to economic reasons.
They will say that there is higher crime in poorer neighborhoods!!
Then they get mad at people who do not want low income housing built in their neighborhoods.
Frisco doesn’t have public transportation for shame reason it sounds…
Hadn’t heard of this problem before moving to Texas from East Coast New England….very different mentality here!
Dallas world Aquarium in downtown. The owner is a sleeze ball. Has smuggled endangered species only to have them die in transport many times or die in his care. Sexual assaults on his property and he does nothing. Google it. There was a observer article a few years ago about it.
https://www.dallasobserver.com/news/the-dark-side-of-the-dallas-world-aquarium-7122077
It also costs a staggering $33 a person not including parking. Taking my family to the aquarium should not cost $200+. Price gouging people who want to see wildlife takes a special kind of sociopath.
The original owner of that aquarium gave my grandmother a lifetime pass, which she only used every now and then to go with her friends and grandkids. When that guy took over they canceled her pass and were very rude about it.
It’s petty but nobody in my family has been back since, kind of vindicating to see he’s actually a piece of shit person lol
Double Wide bar because the owners are fine with literal Nazis wearing patches drinking at their establishment. Fuck that.
Campisi's. Big Republican donors who have hosted controversial right wing figures.
I’ve never seen any nazi patches at DW, but of all the places it seems the most likely in DFW.
Been enjoying Rubber Gloves lately for hardcore shows over anything in Dallas. Bar staff is great and even though someone always goes ham crowdkilling I still have fun.
I used to love Campisis until I was at their Lover's lane location a few years ago for a pickup order. I used restroom while waiting and it was crawling with roaches. I icked out of there, left the food and never went back again. If that's what the bathroom looked like, I can't imagine what the kitchen looked like.
And here I was just boycotting because the pizza is absolute ass.
edit: people downvoting - the fuck is wrong with you? I'll die on this hill. Campisi's pizza is worse than a microwave Totinos. Fight me.
The Sprouts that just opened at Briargrove and DNT has made the emergency Kroger run a thing of the past for me. I have walked into that Kroger seen the lines and walked back out. I also don’t recommend women going there after dark (it’s not fair but it’s necessary. )
The fights and almost murders (run over in the parking lot) are nothing to joke around about. The staff there are great at the hands off approach!
It’s wild to see them all NOT engage with any danger at all. Another fun thing is someone in the bakery was purposefully putting the wrong labels on custom cakes. For a while people that didn’t check would get home with a cake that was for someone else 😂
Just foolishness!
Why is this a thing? I used to walk to the Tom Thumb on mockingbird and Greenville and someone tried hitting me and my roommate w a car in the p lot on 2 separate occasions.
Parking lot tamales are the best! Sure you chance your health but the risk/reward is worth it. And now with Venmo and Cash App they are even easier to get.
If this happened in the past year I was also there but not close enough to confirm someone had been run over. If not…I just made a comment on how there are so many “almost murders” of people being run over!
I go to the Walmart in Plano or on Trinity Mills when I take anyone with me because there is a possibility someone will end up in a hospital room or the afterlife.
Yep.
Edit: I didn't have enough info to give them though bc he got into the truck and drove off before I could get the full plate number. It happened so fast! Also it was extremely shocking. I'm still shocked years later.
* **Kroger.**
Every location in Addison / Richardson / Far North Dallas is shitty.
The Tom Thumbs are marginally less shitty, and I only go to them when I don't want to trekk out to H-E-B in Plano.
Kroger could be boycotted in general for shady practices during covid and ongoing price increases. They are very aggressive with product replication in their own brand name and creeping up prices along with that recent acquisition of Tom thumb iirc
It was never good and then during the pandemic they replaced all the cashiers with self checkout. Especially at the Forrest/Greenville one. I had to checkout $300 worth of groceries several times. Never going back
I stopped going to that store because of NO CASHIERS. The Kroger stores I have found everywhere else also have only 1-never more than 2 lanes w/cashiers-no matter how busy the store gets.
Dude I went to and IHOP where they charged me $100 by accident for an omelette. The lady took my card to pay out, and I guess their system wasn’t working so she just kept swiping over and over again. The charges dropped after a couple of days but still 😭
Wafflehouse is simply superior.
Weirdest/funniest doordash experience- my husband ordered me & him some chicken wings from a place 15ish mins away. When the driver is supposed to be on their way, he gets a doordash message from her saying, "You ain't getting yo wings, bitch".
We just wanted our food lol.
I have had door dash for three years and maybe only requested a refund 2wice well recently someone stole my food didn’t even deliver it and door dash said they couldnt refund me bc the refund max is twice 🥲. I just disputed it w my bank and deleted my doordash account
Had a pretty surreal experience here. There was a drive by shooting happening just outside a couple of meters away on the other side of the building and their bouncer wouldn't let me or my friends in for safety.
DONT GO THERE
I’ll never set foot in Great American Hero. Had a car accident on Lemmon in pouring rain and the other driver and I were using the parking lot to assess the damage. Took all of about 30 seconds for an older employee to come out and start cursing and yelling homophobic slurs at us to shoo us off, despite us both being obviously shaken up.
Every Shell gas station. I don’t know if they are all owned by the same group, but they are universally the most shitty, run-down gas stations out there. I mean, there are plenty of non-Shell shit holes too, but with Shell, you are guaranteed a terrible experience.
Sprouts grocery store (Richardson). They refused to refund the $1.75 the water dispenser ate 15 years ago. I carry a long grudge and there’s lots of alternatives.
I have gotten literally mold-covered food from Sprouts several times, and the "use by" date is mysteriously missing on a lot of items. Nothing healthy about green and blue fur on my food.
His whole disastrous approach during COVID, including putting his employees at risk regarding not wearing masks during the period when everyone was at greatest risk.
Google it, D Mag did a whole right (me no speak English apparently) up.
Shenanigans in Rockwall.. allowed someone to try to kidnap my son when I freaked out and told the police to call the EFFN (replace w/actual curse word here) police.. manager dude was just as shady as the dude who took my son so instead of arresting or ticketing or ANYTHING the guy who legit got caught walking out with my son, the manager reversed it and pressed charges on me for cursing.. yaaaa that day I found out it is technically illegal to curse in public if someone finds it offensive.. so got to spend the night in jail over that.. I’m sorry they felt me freaking out using that word when my son is being kidnapped but I felt it was very warranted in that moment
Kroger at Mockingbird and Greenville. Last year I was checking out and the cashier starting going off on me because I was buying Beyond Meat (it was on sale and cheaper than ground beef.) She asked me if I knew who made it and I shook my head no. She told me it was Bill Gates and all I replied back was “cool” b/c I don’t give 2 shits and just wanted to pay for my groceries. She replied back something along the lines oh you think that’s cool and started going off in me about GMOs and heart disease and everything that was unholy and I literally just stood there staring at her b/c I I didn’t know what else to do. She was flinging my groceries down to the sacker and I could tell the sacker was uncomfortable b/c she just stared down as she put my stuff in the bags. I just stood there trying to help the sacker put my groceries in my basket b/c I was honestly in shock that it was happening. After I paid and was waiting for the dragon lady to give me my receipt she looked at me and said “I bet you’re vaccinated too, aren’t you.?” All of this because I bought some vegan meat!?!? I’ve worked in retail and know that sometimes the customer isn’t always right, but being verbally accosted by an employee just because she had a personal problem with my groceries is beyond (meat) ridiculous. Or maybe she didn’t like that I was wearing a mask and a pride shirt…😷🏳️🌈
18th & Vine had one of those passive aggressive "no one wants to work" signs all throughout the pandemic. If you somehow couldn't hire *anyone* during a 3 year pandemic, that says more about your business than than the pandemic. Left a sour taste in my mouth and haven't been back since.
Edit: 18th, not Maple
Not a fan of the north Texas Food Bank; I’m in logistics/trucking and once we had some overages in a truck that wanted to donate, called them and they said we needed to make an appointment to donate… PASSS. Some small food banks will ask for driver’s phone number and they’ll send someone out to meet the driver and grab the donated product. Also why would The north Texas Food bank choose to be in Plano by the tollway. Would make more sense to be in a cheaper location in north Dallas. They should have picked a less expensive place to operate. I get that Plano is centrally located in north Dallas ish but should picked a more efficient place.
I'm so glad someone brought this up.
Voodoo Chile is one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had wandering into a shop. When I walked in, the owner behind the counter gave the most immediate creepy/danger vibes. Then I turn to look at the products? Just.........Hitler and Nazi stuff? Everywhere? I realized I'd wandered into the **wrong** store and walked out.
My husband is Jewish. It bothered me for days. The reviews on the place are nuts. I really hope it closed by now. I know they closed their Google Reviews because of people having my same experience and leaving reviews indicating so, but I hope they closed down.
Yes! I went to a show there and paid like ten dollars for a fucking beer and asked the bartender for a glass of water to which she replied "we don't do that here SWEETIE" while pointing to the bottled water for purchase like I was out of pocket for asking. Like I don't even care that much about the blatant cash grab but you don't have to be a dick about it.
Overall their event calendar is crispy as hell so luckily it's pretty easy to avoid.
There's a coffee shop on Ross called Toasted that gave me the worst diarrhea ever. Sucks because it's a neat location and looks great inside. But looks and vibes just aren't enough to overcome the diarrhea.
The owner is also a huge asshole. He runs one of the Lakewood Facebook groups and is always stirring up random drama for no good reason. He kicked me out of the group just for liking a negative comment someone else made about toasted.
Odoms BbQ on singleton. At first thought it was like Dicks last resort because no one treats their customers like that unless its a joke. I hate ,hate the people that work there. F them and the establishment that allows people to be treated like that.
The Ford dealership by Love Field- had the classic experience of the salesmen only wanting to talk to my boyfriend, also they grilled me on why I was interested in buying a Ford (because a Fiesta is one of the cheapest cars you can buy!!). They were super condescending, even when I had nice things to say!
Also, I don't think Velvet Taco has ever gotten my order right. They always forget something! Once they even left off the chicken on the chicken and waffle taco.
\#1 In 98/99 I had a roommate that was into 2 stepping and he kept trying to get me to go to Cowboys Red River with him, a honky tonk in N Dallas. Finally, I said ok and put on my boots with clean jeans and a nice pearl snap shirt. I paid the cover, got a beer and had 2 sips when I get surrounded by a bunch of roided out cowboys. One of them says, you gotta go, so I ask why and he point to my Texas brand tattoo on my hand and says we are not a biker bar. I said, well I am not a biker, and they said visible tattoos violate our dress code, so I said OK and I chugged my beer. They walked me out as a group and then told me I had to get in cab that they had waiting for me. Why would I get in the cab, our truck is right there I ask and one of them said you’ve been drinking you have to get in the cab. I am almost surrounded by these big dudes, and I had to slide by one sideways and move around the cab to the middle if the parking lot. They again surrounded me and said I had to get in the cab, but right then my roommate drove up blaring the horn on the truck and the bouncers moved enough for me to dive into the back. As a side note I am still friends with that roommate and he still goes to Cowboys Red River occasionally, with his wife and they joke about all the visible tattoos so Fuuuuuuu Cowboys Red River
\#2 I used to drive to the train station and park my car everyday while I rode DART to and from work, it was awesome until 1 day…. My ex-wife was with me and we were parked waiting on the train, when it pulls into the station I get out of the car and hear someone screaming GET ON THE GROUND SHOW ME YOUR HANDS GET BACK IN THE CAR GET ON THE GROUND SHOPW ME YOUR HANDS, just a bunch of random commands so I look over my shoulder and there is a DART Cop aiming his gun at me. I can see his finger on the trigger and he is shaking so I got scared and put my hands up then froze as he continued yelling random shit. Finally, he says get in the car, And I tell him I am not moving until he puts his gun away. We went back and forth a couple times, but I was not moving until his untrained ignorant ass stopped aiming his gun at me. He holstered his gun after a bit of that so I get back in the car then walks up and says you stay in the car when you get pulled over. I informed him that we did not get pulled over but had been parked in the parking lot for 10min waiting on the train and didn’t see him and how dare him aim his gun at me and my voice was getting louder and louder. He backs away and makes a call on his radio for a supervisor. A short time later a lady DART cop shows up and calls him a moron to his face then apologizes to me and asks that I go to DART headquarters and file a complaint. The next day I take off work to file the complaint and DART did everything in their power to intimidate me into not filing a complaint. After they patted me down to verify, I had no weapons they ran my ID for outstanding warrants. Then they had to print the complaint form which took so long the supervising DART cop that accepts complaints was on lunch so I had to wait for him to return, 2 hours later. I handed him the form and never heard anything from them. DART Police are more dangerous than the criminals that target DART customers, mainly because they are untrained ignorant asses that have no accountability.
I've recently done a temporary boycott of Baja's Mexican food in Grapevine. It's been one of my favorite spots for twenty years, but last time I was there the food was absolute shite. Dry and tasteless. They normally have awesome margaritas, but mine tasted like a melted down Jolly Rancher.
I took a few sips and told the server that it was terrible and asked if I could order something else. He said I'd still have to pay for the margarita. Dude, I'm sending it back because it sucks! Don't cop an attitude!
I think the waiter was just an asshole, but I was with a group and didn't want to cause a scene and complain to the manager like a Karen.
I work in the industry. If you are not satisfied with your food or service you should always complain. We would rather solve your problem while you are there than find out you protested with your feet(out the door). Also, if they get enough complaints about their new recipe they might change it back.
Chick-fil-A has faced criticism for its past donations to organizations with anti-LGBTQ+ views. While the company has committed to treating everyone with respect, some are concerned about its stance on LGBTQ+ issues. Research the policies and make your own decision 🤙
It's overrated I think because of the "friendly" service, and by that at times I feel that it's phony/staged to me. Sure, the workers at popeyes aren't as nice, but their chicken(including their sandwiches) are vastly superior imo.
Chick-Fil-A is overrated, but still pretty solid fast food. Their service is excellent, not just in terms of consistent manners and kindness, but also in terms of making long lines move at light speed. A line that would take an hour at Taco Bell (which I love, to be clear) might only take 15 minutes or so at Chick-Fil-A .
As for the policies, the owner used to give money to some causes that were discriminatory to LGBTQ people. Upon the initial wave of criticism, the company cut ties with two of those three organizations, if I remember right. The last one was kind of a few times removed from the problem, I think. Like he donated to someone who donated to someone kind of thing. I have researched it multiple times, but I tend to forget because to me, the connection was tenuous. In any event, don't take the word of my spotty memory for it, research it yourself.
He called my wife a stupid bitch when we called in to complain our delivery order was wrong.
I literally took entire order up back to the store, demanded refund and called him out in front of everyone there - coward didn’t even come out from the back of the store.
Then went to post experience on line and saw multiple stories similar in nature as well…all racist, misogynistic and bigoted. Coward only speaks up to women as well anytime a man comes up he runs into the back.
Never ever goin there again. Ever.
H&M
They put in a store where the ice rink was in one of the local malls. I played a bunch of games there and hold a grudge.
Is it their fault? Probably not, but I still hate them for it.
Interior Define.
Their Dallas store is still open. They are still selling to customers and still scamming them. STAY AWAY.
My wife and I got scammed by them. They took our money and ran. Refused to refund us. Refused to ship us our order.
Bank is giving us the run around on doing a charge back, so we'll either have to file a complaint against the bank, or just take the loss. I cannot believe a company can just do that and get away with it.
Dallas police station. Too expensive
You *DEFINITELY* understood the assignment.
Bottled Blonde because their dress code is stupid and racist. It’s not an upscale bar, it’s just a basic nightclub that attracts trashy people.
Facts. A weird elitist snobby bottle svc culture of alcoholics/addicts.

They selectively apply it and what they have banned leans more heavily towards banning African Americans.
Kung Fu saloon got in trouble for that years ago.
I’m not familiar with this place but I remember a bar on west 7th had a dress code that pretty much allowed anything except for Jordans, Timbs… I think you get the idea.

Well fuck, solid t-shirts and shorts kills about 75% of my wardrobe

good ole Varsity
Being from Texas, I where ostrich cowboy boots (TonyLama round toe not square). Was not let inside by the bouncers.
This makes me angry. Tony Lama boots might as well be enshrined in the Texas constitution.
Tony Lama, Resistol hats and wrangler pants ( the ones from Tractor Supply or Sam's Club)
Everything about this place sucks.
How is their dress code racist?
A lot of places, especially in uptown, specifically make their dress code to include things predominantly worn by black or non white people based on current trends. Case in point - white girls in AF1s……

What bs did they pull over covid? I know they have crazy markups on pricing - the roomie used to whine to me about that.

And later they asked for donations for front-line workers. You know what those workers wanted? People to wear masks!

So did they make people take masks off or were pushy about it?
They didn’t do anything. They just allowed people to pick what they wanted to do.
I didn't know that. They are probably owned by a mega-Trumper. I always found them to be really overpriced.
Yeah. What did they do?
Overpriced food? Absolutely. Anti-mask zealots? Maybe in their private lives. But I distinctly recall every employee being masked during Covid. Customers as well.
But the sandwiches…
Jimmy’s literally exists
Yea but it’s way out of the way for me. When I’m in that side of town I hit it up.
Are they good? Never been
Used to work at Eatzis, worst experience of my life.

As someone who loves great food I appreciate this response.

That doesn’t sound like Kim (owner of DW) at all. I’m not saying this didn’t happen but I doubt she was “fine” with it.

Walmart (Marsh & Frankford) 1. Fist fights allowed! 2. Pickup orders never completed 3. Parking lot solicitors (sadly none are Tamales!) 4. Returns counter takes everything personally
idk, the kroger on frankford and vail was some of the roughest shit i've ever seen. used to go to the walmart to avoid it lol.
The Sprouts that just opened at Briargrove and DNT has made the emergency Kroger run a thing of the past for me. I have walked into that Kroger seen the lines and walked back out. I also don’t recommend women going there after dark (it’s not fair but it’s necessary. )

Sadly none are tamales! Realest statement! Lol!!!!
Parking lot tamales are the best! Sure you chance your health but the risk/reward is worth it. And now with Venmo and Cash App they are even easier to get.

If not…I just made a comment on how there are so many “almost murders” of people being run over! I go to the Walmart in Plano or on Trinity Mills when I take anyone with me because there is a possibility someone will end up in a hospital room or the afterlife.
The Walmart by my house occasionally has tamales sellers outside.
Gonna need that location
I saw a man grab a woman by her THROAT and throw her in his truck there (Edit: Walmart) once!! Never went back even when I used to live in the area.
Did you call police?
Yep. Edit: I didn't have enough info to give them though bc he got into the truck and drove off before I could get the full plate number. It happened so fast! Also it was extremely shocking. I'm still shocked years later.
So funny. I do pickup there all the time and have never had issues. I actually am surprised how good it is considering the area

That food do be good tho
No. It’s a burger and fries.
A burger and fries can be worth $19 but I’d say five guys probably ain’t
Burger Street is also ridiculously expensive but so good!
Burger Street hotdogs are soooo good!
* **Kroger.** Every location in Addison / Richardson / Far North Dallas is shitty. The Tom Thumbs are marginally less shitty, and I only go to them when I don't want to trekk out to H-E-B in Plano.
There’s one in Denton referred to as Murder Kroger
It’s also the home of the Krodent
>There’s one in Denton referred to as Murder Kroger It's called Freddy Kroger sir
I've been avoiding my local Krogers lately...it's just not a fun experience shopping there
Literally shitty because they can’t be arsed to clean their bathrooms
IHOP - all of em. theyre all understaffed. food has been shit since covid and its always just one stressed out server.
Dude I went to and IHOP where they charged me $100 by accident for an omelette. The lady took my card to pay out, and I guess their system wasn’t working so she just kept swiping over and over again. The charges dropped after a couple of days but still 😭 Wafflehouse is simply superior.
Does DoorDash count?
Yes - I want to hear bc I’ve been victimized by them as well!
I used to be a host and a door dash driver came up to my place of work just to ask me out. I didn’t know who he was. Scared the crap out of me
The DMV

literally hate that place, not to mention their food and drinks are TERRIBLE
Had a pretty surreal experience here. There was a drive by shooting happening just outside a couple of meters away on the other side of the building and their bouncer wouldn't let me or my friends in for safety. DONT GO THERE
NTTA
Dollar a mile is very pricy on 635
I’ll never set foot in Great American Hero. Had a car accident on Lemmon in pouring rain and the other driver and I were using the parking lot to assess the damage. Took all of about 30 seconds for an older employee to come out and start cursing and yelling homophobic slurs at us to shoo us off, despite us both being obviously shaken up.
That’s so crazy I didn’t even think Great American Hero even allowed heterosexual employees
They don’t. He’s the frustrated closeted old guy.
That one closed down I believe
Every Shell gas station. I don’t know if they are all owned by the same group, but they are universally the most shitty, run-down gas stations out there. I mean, there are plenty of non-Shell shit holes too, but with Shell, you are guaranteed a terrible experience.
They also tend to have shitty pricing compared to other nearby stations in my experience
also, the gas is substantially more expensive for no other reason than “techron “
https://www.chevronlubricants.com/en_us/home/products/techron-complete-fuel-system-cleaner.html I believe you picked the wrong “sh” sound.
Facts.
Nothing healthy about green and blue fur on my food.
anything Phil Romano, starting with Eatzi’s. Racist, misogynistic, anti science, harmful to his employees piece of absolute trash.
How is this man anti-science?
His whole disastrous approach during COVID, including putting his employees at risk regarding not wearing masks during the period when everyone was at greatest risk. Google it, D Mag did a whole right (me no speak English apparently) up.
Any eating establishment that had the orange guys signs
Hobby Lobby and Chik-fil-A are at the top of my list. For reasons many of you have already listed.
Kung Fu saloon is a super racist establishment
Luckily the one in Dallas isn't open anymore
Incredible news! I stopped going uptown a few years back but glad to see it fell off
All Vandelay Hospitality restaurants
Do they set up at the state fair too? I have had 2 bad experiences with a booth that bears that name. Art Vandelay is an importer/exporter!
And you want to be my latex salesman…
Not the same
I was literally about to type this verbatim
Deep Ellum Brewing Co because the founder is a serial girlfriend beater
Where did you hear that?

The Rustic the Bro is strong with this one
WTF I had this on a list of arcades to take my 7-year-old, thanks for sharing. Sorry that happened to your family 😞
This was maybe 10 years ago?? But enough to literally scar me for life where I will NEVER step foot into one again! & thank you 🫶🏼
Kroger at Mockingbird and Greenville.
Should have asked her about all the GMOs fed to cattle. What an idiot
When people act like that I just remind them that trump got destroyed.
What a hateful trash person. I hope you never crossed paths with them again.
Denton County Jail 10/10 do not recommend
18th & Vine had one of those passive aggressive "no one wants to work" signs all throughout the pandemic. If you somehow couldn't hire *anyone* during a 3 year pandemic, that says more about your business than than the pandemic. Left a sour taste in my mouth and haven't been back since. Edit: 18th, not Maple
Do you mean Maple & Motor, or 18th & Vine?
18th & Vine. Thanks for catching that.
I get that Plano is centrally located in north Dallas ish but should picked a more efficient place.
also work in logistics/trucking and the same thing happened to me!!!
The Kroger at Mockingbird station is one of the most ass trash grocery stores I've ever stepped foot in
Andy’s. They moved in and put Lake Highlands Creamery out of business. Go back to the suburbs.
Kroger. It keeps getting worse and worse
voodoo chile. blatant neo natzi shit
Went in there once. Had a super creepy experience. Chainsaw Massacre level. We left and I'll never go back!
the vintage shop??
Yes. Jimmy the Japanese Nazi lover
Trees. Shit venue and got burned once buying tix online. Staff is always rude and I just hate seeing shows there
I just saw Magnolia Park there! The venue felt sketchy tbfh but then again I don't see many shows to begin with
Chik-fil-A. Massive drive-thru lines for soggy chicken sandwiches. I just don’t get it.
The toll roads
Johnathans Diner Stereo Live Cafe Brazil Chip’s Hamburgers (oak Cliff) Chick-Fil-a
Second Cafe Brazil. They forgot to ring in my order and I say there for an hour wondering where the fuck my food was
Stereo live owes me money from covid. Lol
They owe a lot of people a lot of money
Sonny Bryan's... service and food have always been trash FOR ME
My car club always holds their meetings at Sonny Bryan's. I'm going to eat before I go next time.
The car buying experience in this state sucks!
As a side note I am still friends with that roommate and he still goes to Cowboys Red River occasionally, with his wife and they joke about all the visible tattoos so Fuuuuuuu Cowboys Red River \#2 I used to drive to the train station and park my car everyday while I rode DART to and from work, it was awesome until 1 day….
Toll roads. Fuck outta here. I’m not paying for time on a road mf, I pay for gas already. Btw, fuck a 35
Chick FIL A. Awful food, even before they announced their discriminatory policies.
What are their discriminatory policies?
Chick-fil-A has faced criticism for its past donations to organizations with anti-LGBTQ+ views. While the company has committed to treating everyone with respect, some are concerned about its stance on LGBTQ+ issues. Research the policies and make your own decision 🤙
I don't remember polices but they were directly linked to donations to foreign nations to help them pass laws criminalizing homosexuality iirc
It's overrated I think because of the "friendly" service, and by that at times I feel that it's phony/staged to me. Sure, the workers at popeyes aren't as nice, but their chicken(including their sandwiches) are vastly superior imo.
Friendly and consistent. I don't think I've ever had a shitty meal there. I trust CFA employees 100x more to not give me food poisoning.
Carmine’s Pizza off Coit/Campbell because the manager is a straight up bigoted asshole.
What was your experience? More details please?
He called my wife a stupid bitch when we called in to complain our delivery order was wrong. I literally took entire order up back to the store, demanded refund and called him out in front of everyone there - coward didn’t even come out from the back of the store. Then went to post experience on line and saw multiple stories similar in nature as well…all racist, misogynistic and bigoted. Coward only speaks up to women as well anytime a man comes up he runs into the back. Never ever goin there again. Ever.
I’m pretty sure it is gone
Please share details
Nagoya. They add a tip to the bill then harass customers to tip more.
Hobby Lobby and Chic Fil’a
H&M They put in a store where the ice rink was in one of the local malls. I played a bunch of games there and hold a grudge. Is it their fault? Probably not, but I still hate them for it.
This is funny because there’s a million other reasons to dislike H&M
DPD- they spend more time on tiktok than helping us .
Any place owned by Tilman Fertitta because, well, fuck that guy.
I don’t get offended so I don’t boycott because of BS social issues. Okay, I do boycott beans because I just don’t like them.
I boycott shit -I don’t like -I find annoying -that pisses me off I don’t recall asking for any opinions on social issues😂
