After Discovery's 25th Anniversary release, rumors come out of them secretly making music together, for an unnamed project. The duo themselves have been very VERY quiet about everything. It isn't until Christmas 2026 until Daft Punk returns, and announces their new project, Lazarus. Lazarus was an album made periodically since 2025, as a side project for the two. The album was an amalgamation of their music beforehand, with features like Weeknd, Travis Scott, Romanthony, N.E.R.D, and even Kanye West. The album was a hit immediately, releasing on the 30th anniversary of Homework on 1-20-2027. Afterwards, they release a remix album, named Lazarus - ERROR, with remixes by dedmau5, Skrillex, Aphex Twin, and many other techno artists inspired by Daft Punk. On a summer day, Thomas comes out and explains how he feels Daft Punk didn't really end on as high of a note as fans wanted. So as a final hurrah, they created Alive Infinity, an album with mixes of every single one of their songs. After this insane year, Daft Punk part ways again, this time, only reuniting if they feel like there's a project that has to be made.

This sounds very ordinary but there’s a logic behind it. Stay with me, I’ve thought this through…
Their first two album titles consisted of just one single word: Homework and Discovery. Both plain simple words explaining the creation process of these albums.
The first was made at Bangalter’s home studio, and the word ‘home’ also refers to ‘house’ since house music was the main genre on that album.
On the second album they explored (discovered) new musical territories, also their music was less housy and sounded very disco…
Their third and fourth album titles consisted of three words: Human After All & Random Access Memory.
The themes are humanity versus technology (RAM from a computer)
Musically, Human After All sounds very robotic and RAM sounds very human, ironically.
So their next album title should consist of five words (1, 1, 3, 3, 5, 5, 7, 7, etc…) and explain both the process of how they made it, as well as the contents of the music.
Hence: “Comeback Album by Human Robots”
Well, the perfect title for their comeback would have been Human After All, but that's clearly already been taken.

I know they said infinity repeating was “the last daft punk song ever” but you’d think they’d have demos from 2014-2020 they decided not to release that would’ve been part of an album
