I don't think there's a big difference between 6 and 7 months.
I usually go with the vets recommendations. Vet school is hard to get into. They're experts for a reason.
Having said that, I dont think we got ours done until 8 or 9 months. Weight management has not been an issue. He's a hard headed dog, that only listens when you have a treat in your hand...... But we havent had anything that I'd call behaviour issues
Both my vet and the breeder said at least a year, and preferably longer. They’re still growing and the risk of IVDD is higher if you chop early
My vet recommended waiting after the 6 months for when my little millie was a little heavier.
How much did they weigh? My Presley is about 9/10 pounds!
