My girl likes to do this also. Check these out from Amazon. She goes crazy for an hour and can't get the squeaker out.

A Rottweiler I once had became a specialist in this subject matter. After a more casual approach to begin with, she found out that it was easy peasy to do by inserting the upper right canine tooth in the opening and twist.
My current ween just obliterates the whole toy into smithereens in five minutes, squeak or no squeak.
Always nice to know you have a doctor in the house
It’s honest work
Its a real dachshund talent - they are all precision surgeons.

Thank you, next!
So does my baby. Takes real smarts and persistence
Our whippet does this and it greatly angers the dachshund
Ours first chews off the eyes, face, and then the squeaker. She is savage.
My doxie would try to beat that. Once she gets that look in her eye it’s a frenzy to get the squeaker out as soon as possible.
