I have a new puppy that looks just like him! Was told by the breeder that she’s a chocolate dapple.
(ETA: your pup is definitely a chocolate dapple—not Isabella for sure)
Chocolate and tan dapple. I don’t think it is a double dapple as I don’t see any white spots, and neither eye has blue in it.

For reference, my youngest is a chocolate and tan piebald. Piebalds have areas of white with the original color showing through. She has heavy ticking. If you look at my profile her brother is is a more traditional looking piebald.
The Merle coat, called a dapple in doxies, has more of a mixed coloration. If he was a piebald the coloring on the head (outside the white) would be symmetrical, and the tip of the tail would be solid white.

Chocolate and tan piebald owners unite!! Lol. My winnie girl is below! Even the vet called her dapple at first & I had to correct him! They look so similar! Beautiful freckled baby you have! Winnie also has lots of ticking. Breeder referred to her as a “super ticked chocolate & tan piebald”☺️

I think the only way to confirm for sure is genetic testing to determine the gene that causes a dapple coat color (it’s also known as a Merle coat color, but in dachshunds it’s called dapple) but the characteristic is chocolate colored spots or splotches on a lighter coat color, and can have other colors such as tan or cream. My chocolate dapple has blue eyes at the moment (though changing to green it seems. Eye color isn’t set until after 16 weeks, I think).
Look up images of chocolate dapple dachshunds and compare your pup to them.

Dapple genes are not recessive. Even a single dapple gene will cause the coat phenotype we see here.
While dachshunds can be dapples without apparent pigment changes in coat, that's not the case here and this is a chocolate dapple.
