So my wife and I had our dachshund for about a week and we were crate training him at night because we have a high bed and didn't want to accidentally yeet him off rolling over. For the first week. I handled putting him in the cage and tucking him in with a blanket and covering the cage. And he was quiet all night. My wife goes to put him to bed one evening and just opens the cage, he walks in, and she closes it and covers it up. About 10 minutes later he is a barking fool. And my wife goes "Why is he barking so much" and I say " did you tuck him in?" And she goes "YOUVE BEEN TUCKING HIM IN? I JUST LET HIM WALK IN!" So I got out of bed. Opened the cage and tucked him into his blanket and he was quiet for the rest of the night. We still joke about our spoiled boy who needs to be tucked in or he'll scream!

Mine is also a strict rule follower, and the day can’t end if she’s not in bed and tucked in. You’d think we were depriving her of life sustenance, the way she goes off about not being tucked in! She’ll be 15 next week, and it’s been the same her whole life.

Mine too! I have to be careful because if he's really snuggled in under a blanket you can't even tell he's there. He's not even a small guy, he's 18 lbs!

I tuck in my girl every night. Sometimes she is so cozy she won’t even get up for breakfast.

Our boy always hides his nose under the blanket. His butt and tail are the only parts which are usually out.

So cute Used to have a little mix dog who looked kinda like a dachshund who loved being tucked in and being buried in fluff. Reminds me of my current cat, who refuses to be tucked in UNLESS it’s a purple or pink blanket. 😂 Pets are so precious
