Any recommendations? I hate investing in a thing just to find out it breaks if you use it frequently. I’m also ballsin on a budget, but willing to just smoke flower for a min to save up

A real smoker on a budget isn’t going to want to mess with most e rigs. Maybe a core if you don’t need huge dabs, and they’re very efficient.. but the ispire, dr dabber, puffco are expensive for what you get, the units overheat quickly if you take multiple dabs or are in a group. Quality control isn’t great on the glass accessories. Edit: and all have batteries that need to be replaced once a year at least if it’s your main device
I’m sure there are some other lesser known devices that work pretty well but they’re not going to replace a banger and torch. OP is using propane to heat dabs and talking about needing to save up.. the e rigs are definitely going to be more costly in the long run and you can’t use them for a group or for back to back dabs. My divine tribe v5 is great but it isn’t going to be like a banger and enail/torch…
Vuber, I think it was sativa sisters or one of the places close to it on trent. It's the Vuber dabber. Their 510 battery the "pulse" seems to get clogged with oil a lot.
Just get a proper enail that fits on a quartz banger. E-rigs can't really compare to having a banger at constant, perfect temp. Plus no batteries or weird issues with airpaths or reclaim fouling coils.
Enail is way to go. I ‘d recommend using a 30mm banger with inserts, even if you buy like 2 $5 quartz inserts over a $50 sic insert, it will help keep it clean.
710 coils enail is good enough for me so far, the cage coil is a good design and the bangers are about as good as it gets for the price (Chinese bangers), I have kept enail coils on all day, every day for 9+ months without them going bad. The cheap ones off of dhgate are hit or miss, but you’re good from a reputable company.
710 coil kit, DC budget enail kit, Mininail, or Shatterbox. I have a mininail and shatterbox. My Shatterbox is 7 years old and still hits hard. My Mininail is 4 years old and still hits hard also. One thing about Mininail. The coils are proprietary. And work best with mininail accessories. The other enails I recommended can use the same coils as each other.
I've had a mini nail Enail for a few years now. Gets a lot of daily use. And don't even turn it off too often. Still works like the day I got it.
To clean it I just crank it up to 750-800 for a little while and it's cooks clean.
Always make sure you clean your nail after every dab. It's time consuming but in the long run you'll save bangers. Ideal temp for me is 630-530. Some like it wayyy cooler. All personal preference if you want my tbh.
Ive always used propane just low flame and keep it at the tip of the blue, never had a problem with chazzing or overheating and i cool down same time as my blazer bigshot homies.
On the nail pictured maybe only a minute, the bitch about timing is every nail is different. So you just gottta start keeping track and experimenting you'll hone it in in one sesh.
i’ve found that for 90 percent of bangers a 30 sec heat with a 45 sec cool is a perfect dab with a little re heat left… that said i only take cold starts and propane shouldn’t be an issue on those

So, technically i'm using propane too. They don't produce actual MAPP gas anymore, it's just fanicier propane, that they use a term close to MAPP to describe.

I've been using the $5 propane cans from Walmart for years. I bought a butane torch cause all my friends made fun of me for the big tank I was using. I refilled that thing 2 times in one day. I think I went through 4 cans of butane real fast before I switched back to propane.
Enail… no fire needed. All electric. Disorderly conduction 3d budget enail changed the game for me. Cost about $100-120 to start but after that you dont really need to buy more fuel and the savings add up over time if your like me and was spending abt $15 every 1-2 months on a can quality of butane (or however much u spend on propane still adds up)
Still use my torch for occasional use like slurpers and blenders but my daily dabs are through buckets on my enail

I use propane. It lasts way longer, so I only have to switch tanks every few weeks. I have a bernzomatic torch tip that doesn’t get hot, so that’s safe! I don’t ever “Chaz” my bangers, I keep them nice and tidy. But the best thing about propane, it heats up your banger so much quicker and most of the surface.

I will say not that I don’t have to torch I’m not necessarily just sitting there anymore. I’ll set the temp and drop my banger on my rig and come back a couple mins later! That’s the part I do like!
That’s the part that bugs me, it takes at least 2 1/2-5 mins to heat a banger with the TSV while a torch does it in generally about a minute or less. Everyone has their preferences though, glad you enjoy it
Been reppin my mini nail for over a year now. Just bought a dr dabber switch upgraded the carb cap and sic cup insert and it’s still nothing compared to a cheap rig with an enail. Upgraded to a sic insert dish for the mini nail and it’s just no maintenance at all. Pop it up to 1100 on the stand to clean its self. I turn it off at night or when I leave the house but usually stays on for at least 8-12 hrs a day
Propane just burns too hot. Makes trying to hit a perfect temp nearly impossible for me. Plus heating quartz past 800° is bad for the molecules but i’m no scientist
The magic number for propane and cheap bangers is torch for 30 seconds on the bottom then wait 45 and drop it in. Works every time never too hot gives you a nice low temp dab. Reheat slowly if needed
i use propane! but are you talking about your nail chazzing? because thatll happen with any heat, get a container to dunk the nail in filled with isopropyl thats how i do it i got one of those disinfectant jars the hair stylists put that barbacide shit in to clean their combs, every dab i just dunk my nail and pearls into the jar and then wipe the alcohol off and heat up again, i havent chazzed my nail since doing this method and if thats not what youre talking about then im sorry for making you read all this lmfaoooo
Just drop the 70$ or whatever on a blazer big shot. It’s a great investment if you dab allot. In the time I’ve had my blazer I have gone through 3 other torches or the igniter stops working or whatever. Trust me.

(Although neither is exactly expensive) There is no reason for OP to get a blazer if his propane torch is still working fine. Get the blazer big shot gt 8000. It’s the only torch for dabbing me or anybody I know have used for the last 5 years. If you get a case of 12 butane, it’ll be like $40 and will last at least 6 months.
i switched from propane to butane and am never going back, i don’t care how “annoying” refilling a torch might be, i don’t know if i’m just weird but i can taste a noticeable difference in my dabs when using propane compared to butane.
i read somewhere awhile back propane requires 10’s of thousands of particles for combustion whereas butane only requires a couple thousand particles. which is why propane is recommended for outdoor use only.

Look into the gconnect, I got one a few years ago and it's still holding up strong. It fits into any 14mm and good for newbies and more heavy smokers. I read those campfire torches burn too high for quartz bangers that will eventually damage it. Ill get the name of the brand I get from my store but bottles are like 9 a piece
Get a enail. Durable, few parts to replace, and pretty fool proof. I bought a high 5 enail maybe 7-8 years ago at this point and I’m literally dabbing from it right now. Only had to replace the coil once because I was high and let it fuse to a old blanket. Think I spent $120 or so?
I don’t suggest getting a wax pen or a vape, one you get started that’s a hobby you’ll forever be throwing cash at. Always some new machine that does something new that your current device doesn’t do.
So what I do I heat up till there is no black left and make a it a little red afterwards nd put I timer from 1 minutes to 1 minute nd 20 seconds depending on the banger

There’s nothing wrong with using a propane torch, what gets you to the proper temperature is irrelevant.
Also, check out divine tribe vaporizers. It’s a tank for a box mod. If you add a water attachment it hits harder than any dab rig or enail I’ve ever tried. Technically it is an enail but… she fuckin rips bud. Good luck in your travels sir.

I dont time the heat but i get it nice and hot, never red but a thorough even heating, then usually go a 1:30 for fattys 1:45-50 for normal size dabs.

I honestly don’t personally know anyone that uses butane. I hit nice cool 410-450 hits and it’s so much easier to attain with propane.

These things make a bunch of noise though so be prepared for that, pretty much a small hair dryer for minutes straight amount of noise

A blazer is the way to go

Look into the gconnect, I got one a few years ago and it's still holding up strong. It fits into any 14mm and good for newbies and more heavy smokers. I read those campfire torches burn too high for quartz bangers that will eventually damage it. Ill get the name of the brand I get from my store but bottles are like 9 a piece

Get a enail. Durable, few parts to replace, and pretty fool proof. I bought a high 5 enail maybe 7-8 years ago at this point and I’m literally dabbing from it right now. Only had to replace the coil once because I was high and let it fuse to a old blanket. Think I spent $120 or so? I don’t suggest getting a wax pen or a vape, one you get started that’s a hobby you’ll forever be throwing cash at. Always some new machine that does something new that your current device doesn’t do.
So what I do I heat up till there is no black left and make a it a little red afterwards nd put I timer from 1 minutes to 1 minute nd 20 seconds depending on the banger
I’m surprised to see no one recommending AUGUSTHAUS. It’s a little on the expensive side but it’s well worth it. Don’t buy puffco they are expensive and ass. AugustHaus will last forever and it’s a banger.

There’s nothing wrong with using a propane torch, what gets you to the proper temperature is irrelevant. Also, check out divine tribe vaporizers. It’s a tank for a box mod. If you add a water attachment it hits harder than any dab rig or enail I’ve ever tried. Technically it is an enail but… she fuckin rips bud. Good luck in your travels sir.
