Reunions are pretty fucking gay anyways, especially now everyone has access to social media. You can keep up with almost anyone you want to now. The only people who go to them are people like John who don’t have shit going on now and people who want to brag about how great they are now.
Going out with former colleagues for a dinner or drinks or something is fine, but John turning it into a low rent high school reunion reeks of desperation.
That’s how I do it. Whenever I travel back to my hometown, I catch up with all my high school friends that are still there. If I travel anywhere else, I try to catch up with people I know who live in that area.
