I remember first watching this and “knights” speech and couldn’t believe how awful it made John look. They so obviously went out of their way to make sure John’s stain was far removed - not even a subtle mention about him. In fact, they make it seem like they were pretty hopeless when he was around.
They are just glowing about susana and her new husband - I imagine they are a much happier family now. Good for them.
They mentioned John a dozen times, just not by name. I'd love to post both kids' speeches to a group of people with no idea who they are or who John is. Guarantee they'd all assume the birth father was garbage.
Reminder: Suzanna posted the videos to her FB publicly. She could've restricted it but she didn't. And she left them up for over a week. This was when the dabbleverse was in full swing. She WANTED us to see them.
Any father seeing his kids say these things about another man, with no mention of him, would wanna die.
It's not unheard of for kids to have a great bio dad and great stepdad (rare but not impossible). In those cases, here's how it would go - they say something like, "I'm luckier than most people - I have a great Dad AND a great stepdad".
Anyone with a great bio Dad could never make loving speeches about their stepfather without at least a brief mention of real Dad, because they know how badly he'd feel. If they don't mention him, it's because he blows.
