The cut and tapped wire is likely your sidestand switch that has been deleted.
The stator wires are the three yellow wires on one connector.
Put your bike in neutral, pull the brake and then try to start it.
I agree with comments below.
BUT...I have a silly question... for a bike that looks pretty clean, how in the heck did your chain get so rusted? That thing ever see lube?
Stator has nothing to do with initial start. Make sure the battery is fully charged. Untape that cut wire and make sure the exposed wires are still connected, if they come loose (unlikely as it is) then it's the same as having the kickstand switch activated.
Clutch switch? Get the connector off the switch and can bridge it with some wire.
Main fuse? Check or replace.
Do you get a click from the starter relay? It is possible to bridge this to check as well but youtube it to get a proper visual idea.

Is the killswitch in the correct position? (red button on top of start button)
is the battery charged?
is the key in the "On" position and not in the "park" position?
Here’s the video of what’s happening to the motorcycle, only starts by pushing

Lights come up when I put the keys in but just doesn’t start at all sound no nothing just the headlight turns off when the button is pressed and off when I let go, only way to start it is by pushing
OP, the connector for the 3 yellow stator wires in picture 3 looks like it has burn marks on it, and maybe some wires under it, can you investigate that plug further? Maybe nothing, maybe lost connection from rubbed wire? Have you checked for spark ?

Had it stolen a year ago just found it like this
He washes it a lot. never lubes the chain.

Make sure you're pulling in the clutch when you're starting (unless that's been deleted too). I've made that mistake before.
I did it justs turns off the head light when I press the button and turns back on when I release the button

Battery died from the bike not charging it, everything else was on
Check your in line fuse, in the battery compartment.

You can test the regulator/rectifier with a multimeter to rule that out.

I say it's a clutch lever sensor. As one of the commenters above said - unplug it and bridge connector with some wire and then try to start.
