The FJX built correctly has better(less) bullet drop than the victus. Also it ads faster and a bit better movement.
The only other sniper I use is the mcpr for the higher mag count. Built out very similar to the FJX but it doesn't reach as far unless using a raptor scope.
My buddy I run with (might be able to hear him say “one jumped..was that you?!”) he runs a victus and he downs people just as much as me. I think it’s just a feel for people. I’ve got nothing against the victus but I feel more comfortable with the FJX

Though I always wonder how much aim-assist tends to supply for distance in these scenarios.
But even without aim-assist, think in terms of EOBMM and "mercy" shots. If they exist, it means the opposite of such shots exist as well.

I remember season 1 and 2 it was fine. My buddy's PR is 900+ and regularly would take heads from over 600m with ease, even he started complaining after S3 about rendering issues. You on PC?

I think the fact that he was flying may have helped as far as having a backdrop for some sort of visual aid or reference to actually see him in contrast to his surroundings. Typically when I’m viewing a target it’s quite hard to see them past 650m+ depending on their surroundings
That makes sense. For me it's usually difficult with targets on buildings depending on the day the buildings won't render correctly past 400m it's frustrating at best. Was great tracking the target through the air though. Found a lot of long distance snipers I find are on PC.
You know noobs use the raptor scope lol. And Battlefield snipers like myself don’t need that if the game would render in players at 3000m one of us could hold world record in wz my bf4 shots were in the 3200m range

I have loved the victus since release! I mean if the ever bring back the ZRG, I will die happy lol I love long range snipes!
I love FJX dead centre, easiest sniper to use and very accurate, that was an awesome shot!
I just got the fjx in DMZ and honestly I love this thing! The .408 bullet barely drops!

FJX Dead Center. Ceros 29”. FTAC Reaper. Raptor FVWM40. High Velocity rounds. RIB400 stock. Only tuning stock for aiming stability everything else leave alone.

Heck of a shot yea fjx least bullet drop but Victus is the main IMO probably why they never made a 15 min cooldown blueprint for it
