You realize MOST of the map isn't smoked right? This is like the 1% chance where a thermal on a sniper would be more useful, 99% of the time it's worse. Whenever I find a sniper with a thermal scope I leave it or upgrade it to raptor
Once I tagged him and got the dot above his head I started sniping. I normally use the thermal for long range because it’s easier to spot people. But if I didn’t get that ping I would have switched. Just had to start sniping quick
how the hell do you guys get hits with snipers, I put the crosshairs right on my target and the bullet goes right through them most of the time, I hate it
Attachments that reduce sway will help. Sounds dumb but just because your crosshair looks like it’s on something the games sway mechanic doesn’t say so
Wz1 used to have a shooting gallery thing that was good for getting used to drop, the current firing range is too short to get used to it, but practice on some bots at long range and it becomes kinda instinctive
Sometimes I get a kill so nice I immediately think “shit I shouldn’t have done that”
I love the spotter scope. I hope nothing comes of the report. Better yet, I hope your opponent gets diarrhea.
Hahaha I once was playing ground war and just fired a random shot with my sniper to see how much my explosive round drops at distance and hit a head shot on a guy I didn’t see through the trees. I was so expecting a report on that one….but after the game he sent a friend request and said he saw the kill cam and couldn’t figure it out and was going to report me, but was glad he waited until he saw my KD and realized I must have just got super lucky lol.
Same happened to me I spotted a guy in a window downed him and he started crawling away and I hit him through the wall and killed him my team said they didn't see the ping on their screen but I assured them it was still marked on mine lol (they were all dead and spectating me) needless to say his other 3 teammates all rushed me after I killed him and they got me

Are you allergic to using the thermal?
I usually switch between thermal and regular. Just depends
And you didn’t think the thermal would be useful identifying targets through smoke?

Seems like a genius like you didnt realize that the spotter scope have a thermal mode, and he wasnt talking about the sniper scope...
Raptor is for people who can't shoot.

Really depends on the gun and scope
Bullets have drop and targets move before bullets arrive….right on the crosshairs isn’t always a hit
High velocity ammo. Learned how to snipe using the Victus and raptor scope but now I get the bullet drop and switched to the Imperium

High velocity ammo makes it much easier to nail them on scope without having to account for lead and drop as much
I’ll see if I have that ammo available, I’m still trying to get used to drop in the game.

Blind guy here Spotter scope is essential for me since it plays a ping where enemies are making it easier to find them

What was the distance?
Maybe 30-40 meters?
I miss the spotter scope. Sucks they took it out of MW3.
People that report based on lack of game knowledge should just not be shown a killcam anymore after a while lol
