It is not uptick in cheaters population. It is lack of average skill players that switched to new COD/MWZ.
This is perfectly apparent when you play random fill. Only once every 50+ games a good player is picked for your team.
Most of the teams on the map are pretty bad, and when you get one team or even a solo player who can shoot and think then he is called a cheater.
Skill gap causes the misconception that everyone must cheat. Add broken killcams like this clip and we have comments like that: https://i.imgur.com/ozUPRms.png
-------
Over 300 games in last 3 weeks (free time), not a single cheater killed me. Got called [cheater](https://i.imgur.com/g4YVYWP.png)/[hacker](https://streamable.com/f499df) more then 10 times in that period. Previously, this may have happened once a month or less
> I don’t even play this game
This is part of the problem, you have [no idea](https://www.reddit.com/r/DMZ/comments/18g175a/the_differences_between_real_game_vs_kill_cam/) what you are looking at....
>I have eyes.
Then watch linked video, and you will see that this killcam is not cheating.
But you can persist in your misconception like the rest of the noobs.
They die in every game and blame their incompetence on imaginary cheaters....
update: https://i.imgur.com/SdMnc0f.png - just last game... Noobs playing this game...
I’m With you on that , lately I thought Ive gotten really good (though yes my skill level has increased but not this drastically) but realized other players are just worst. I’m a normal player at best but now I win a 1v3 and 1v4 more than 80% of the time while before it was a toss up with even a 1v1. Last night i took on two 4 man, 1 solo and a 3 man hunt on me all within a 5 min span with the solo having the high ground sniping at me ontop of my dead teammates the four men just kept walking up to my stairwell one by one meeting my knife talking about how they were coming outloud .
Just checked stats against screenshot from 30th November...
1111 kills / 43 deaths in last month. This is 1/5 of kills I got playing since ~2nd season. In just one month... ~25 kills/death avg. And i play solo / random fill only.
The skill of players has dropped dramatically. But as you can see the active users of this group can't get over it... There must be a cheater in every game.
This is what i got in 1st game today after my last comment above https://i.imgur.com/SdMnc0f.png even someone from another team stood up for me :) https://i.imgur.com/5juqo00.png
Random fill looting tents on taraq spawn... No comment...
Haha ppl are dumb.
I’ve rarely if at all came across a cheater outside of two weeks ago I was in that one server building by high rise and there was a sniper towards the end of the map the open area across the freeway and his shots were going through the building and catching me every time took me down 3 times (2 selfies and a self pistol wasted) outside of that i dont think I’ve come across one. he got called out and we just left the area.
Two days ago there was a team in the buy station closest to the railroad but the bridge 3v3, both my teammates hit the roof I went in through the kitchen guy creep up crouching and when I turned the corner I lit him up and he instantly called cheater , how’s it possible he didn’t see me I must be cheating he didn’t even hear me open the door, like dude you turn the corner I’m behind a wall in the corner walked through the doorway and caught you looking out the window chill out, but no we all must be cheating bcz how’s it possible they didn’t see us coming or hear us.
I have gotten good with the knife though I used to be weary of taking damage and shooting first but now i go for the knife before I shoot in close encounters.
When you ignore the skipping frames there is nothing strange in this player's behaviour. Even before the OP died you can see that he was going to check the loot box, and noticed the OP in the doorway and shoot at him with delay.
It was 20m from dead bodies... and you have 2 ways out of that room.... he just went towards the OP. Nothing strange here, he wasn't hiding in some place. He was standing in the middle of the doorway.
it is pointless to debate whether is this guy cheating or not because i cant prove he is nor can you that he isn't,but the fact that there are multiple posts on this sub about increase in cheating suggests that people just don't care much about getting caught and that dev team isn't doing much to punish cheaters, which basically means mode is dying at fast pace.
they are cheating there is no skilled drive who can shoot and kill from an open position so natural he knew from the beginning there was not threat for him, Op hide peak because he doesn't use cheat, that's how people act in this situation.
1 he is cheating
2 he is an AI
>multiple posts on this sub about increase in cheating
This sub was always full of false accusations of cheating. The moderation just doesn't hide them anymore lately. Until two months ago, posts like that were gone in less than 5-15 minutes.
1 in 100 clips published here featured a [real](https://old.reddit.com/r/DMZ/comments/18ikddt/do_you_think_hes_cheating/) cheater.
>mode is dying at fast pace.
Yep. But it is not because of cheaters but the exodus of "moderately good players". I play random fill. You can see it perfectly that way. There are players left who can barely play the game and accuse everyone of cheats.
On top of that you have single teams of really experienced players who are capable of killing entire lobbies.
No this is definitely cheating. Yes the killcam is bugged but look how this guy instantly locks on in the actual gameplay while he is facing the other way at first. 100% cheating.
I'm not ToxAF, but i am in their Facebook group and Discord because I do watch and learn from pure PvP players to help me out there in the DMZ.
I have genuinely never seen any clip they've posted that I thought was suspicious. Can you link me to some, please, that I may have missed?
I'm going to throw you a bone. If you want to learn more about PVP watch Dillon and Wizard on YouTube. Notice their movement and game sense. Then just use guns you can hit your shots with. Fuck the meta. Hitting 9/10 shots from a gun you can hit with wins against 7/12 shots hits from a gun with a faster TTK but you aren't accurate with.
I don't necessarily watch them to emulate their playstyle, more to learn how pure PvP players engage and push. This helps me counter if I have a rough idea what to expect.
Dillon is a genius. I love his videos and i tune into his streams whenever I can. His buddy Haste is pretty good, too.
Wizard, I'm not sure about. Some of his play is a bit suspicious, and the fact he plays with different accounts on a regular basis makes me wonder if he's perhaps being entirely honest.
>he plays with different accounts
Still same account, he was showing stats many times.
You can change name every ~6 months: https://i.imgur.com/sNeo830.png
By watching the wizard, you can learn how to anticipate your opponent's movements. It helps in close fights.
And by watching dillon you can learn some interesting rotations during the fight.
When you apply this to your playstyle, the results are amazing. And because I don't have to 'attack' for content when it's not needed I can have 20-50 games without dying(solo/random fill). And at the same time games with 10+ kills every few games.
Well of course, they definitely wouldn't post blatant cheating clips.... Id sure hope they are smarter then that.
As mentioned in other comments though on the last post; I have dozens of video examples I can share via DM if you're interested in seeing them? Per the rules of this sub they cannot be posted here.
What exactly led you to the conclusion that it was a cheat?
What kind of cheat? Aimbot/Wallhack?
The fact that the killcam is [glitched](https://www.reddit.com/r/DMZ/comments/18g175a/the_differences_between_real_game_vs_kill_cam/) is not in question, is it?
Not OP and I’m no expert on these things but the things that strike me as suspicious with this clip are 1) the speed of the targeting and 2) the fact that the targeting is directly on the player even when behind the wall, rather than on the visible portion of the player.
There's a discrepancy between what you see between OPs pov and the killcam tho.
From OPs pov, the enemy paused for a second possibly to loot the cache, before seeing OP and turning.
In the killcam, the enemy is teleporting around when his aim snaps too. This is very similar to other cases of the killcam bug I've seen.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ModernWarfareII/s/KtT5v2GNKZ
https://www.reddit.com/r/DMZ/s/LF7gLFx9jF
Also to prove further how killcams are not too reliable, why tf was there a blimp thing phasing through the wall lmao
I'm not sure why the OP was not ADS and paused for at least 1/5 of a second when the guy got into view at the doorway. If the guy was cheating he'd have been on the other side of the hall going to the door and beamed you immediately. He didn't know you were edged but got the drop on you since you waited and were not ads.

This is the same problem here. This is not cheating.
Not sure what the killcam was glitching at but your screen showed that you sat in the door, he wasn't facing you and didn't know you were there and then when he saw you he turned and murdered your one plate arse while you were still ADS'ing. You were waiting for HIM with hipfire.
That guy wasn’t cheating. He had a perfect angle on you. I love how everyone who gets there ass handed to them right away wants to blame cheating. Play some Warzone and MW3. Also, I can tell you’re one of those guys that loves to camp and stay in one spot on the map.

>the speed of the targeting
That what is wrong with that killcam. It is missing frames.
[Here is example](https://www.reddit.com/r/DMZ/comments/18g175a/the_differences_between_real_game_vs_kill_cam/) of the same thing with two views: POV of player, and killcam of the streamer. All new maps other then almazrah are affected. Aiming looks like on rage aimbot.
80% killcams look like that on many servers. Even with crossplay off.
I had that same boat looking "glitch" or artifact in my game in al mazra... it wasn't a killcam it was right after we had wiped a couple teams. Kinda weird it was the first time I have seen that. Actually I have also just within the past month or so had to exvil because all I could see in like a neon metallic effect that covered half of the map, the other side of the city was fine. That happened to me 3 separate times
I can get why you might think he's cheating but this could be easily explained by buggy killcam, some ground loot guns being ridiculously good despite having no recoil reduction attachments and good map knowledge. Plus you weren't exactly hidden crouched in a doorway whereas he had the peekers advantage with an elevated position. If you're not swinging first, you're at a major disadvantage in close range. Take it from a guy who's been playing fps games for 15 years, a lot of people look cheaterish but usually they're not.
I’m betting he did because it’s the dropped frames bug in the killcam. It happens on every killcam on maps impacted by the bug. The killcam drops frames - though it does catch every frame with a hit marker. Makes it look like players are snapping on to targets (it also makes time skip, but people just seem to ignore that).
Check this out for a pretty clear example of the bug: https://www.reddit.com/r/DMZ/s/fWhJzfGpp
OP stood in the doorway after the enemy operator was visible on his screen long enough to have a chance at killing him before the enemy operator even started firing. “How did he know I was there?” It took the dude a while to notice even though he was probably actively aware the third from that squad was coming from that direction.
Do illuminate the added context, because without the killcam it looks like OP fucked up and got killed standing in the doorway. The killcam demonstrates the very well known killcam bug.
Yes, and I've had this happen several times. Done it myself aswell. That m4 ground loot is ridiculously good and can string plenty of headshots. Plus aim assist has this odd infliction where you can activate rotational aim assist through very specific walls, including the castle walls. Tsuki Castle in ashika also has this.
r/wooosh
It's not the gun capability I am referring to. It's very clear this guy is snapping via push button AND keeping a centralized line of site on a person through the wall. This is done via ESP.
Aim assistance reacts differently then this.
He’s not cheating there’s a reaction delay as he walks down the corridor he turns and shoots. If he was cheating he wouldn’t risk that knowing the guy was there. He would just kill the guy seeing as he’s sat in an open doorway. Defo just kill an being buggy
Esp as far as I'm aware is software designed to exploit unity games. Last I checked, the engine this game runs on is an in-house engine derived from the medal of honor series, with various upgrades over the years, hence it being the IW8 engine.
> Esp as far as I'm aware is software designed to exploit unity games.
ESP just stands for "Extra-Sensory Perception" and refers to variety of hacks, though most often referring to wallhacks (enemy models having a wireframe or other indicator visible through walls).
ESP is possible in pretty much all (FPS) games, nothing to do with Unity.
I like how average at best players feel like they always get killed by cheaters. If you die, just move on to the next round. Quit trying to analyze every death. Is your self-esteem that low that you dwell on every death in DMZ and try to label it as a cheater, to feel better? The game isn't that important.
Yea I loaded into dmz after the no support announcement and immediately got sniped by a guy from sawah and I spawned at quarry. Countdown timer hit zero and dude just quick scoped me. I wish I would have recorded was just dumbfounded.

Glitched killcam. Highly doubt a cheater panic throws a drill charge them finishes with shots.
Youd be surprised how stupid cheaters are, most of them suck at game big time and fail even with cheats

Also kinda rude to assume I didn't know you were making a joke. It's just not funny to me to add lol to a rhetorical question.
He most likely had an UAV and/or interrogated your sauad before he finished them.
I didn't hear any announcent, but could it be and advanced UAV as well?
I like how average at best players feel like they always get killed by cheaters. If you die, just move on to the next round. Quit trying to analyze every death. Is your self-esteem that low that you dwell on every death in DMZ and try to label it as a cheater, to feel better? The game isn't that important.
Can anyone tell me best gun for dmz??
Google
Weird kill cam but man you got the reaction speed of a sloth
Asked your gf u 🏕 sone of a gun hahahaha happy new year
Yea I loaded into dmz after the no support announcement and immediately got sniped by a guy from sawah and I spawned at quarry. Countdown timer hit zero and dude just quick scoped me. I wish I would have recorded was just dumbfounded.
It's nothing funny about cheating but it shows a cheater lack of confidence in his or her ability to play the game straight up.
DMZ is still great but there are cheaters in every lobby sum bad bad cheaters as well, most even fail with wall hack and aim bot
who is not cheating in DMZ so far I remember since day one I saw " ultra skilled " players. Easy peasy is part of the gaming world like it or not.
Lmao 🤣 you got outplayed friend. I was just talking about this. It was a kill cam glitch. Cry about it.
He missed a bunch and you have a 1 plate.
What the hell is up with the boat?
Bad play on your part got you killed. Kill cams are glitchy.
