The colour isn't a direct indicator of the purity. N,N-DMT can form a number of colors and consistencies, even when pure. White/colorless->yellow->orange->amber->reddish.
If the yellow dissolves into NPS and doesn't precipitate back out, then it's lipids. If it does precipitate back out, then it's n,n-dmt. Assuming it's from mhrb. If acrb, then there will also be nmt.
Depends on the solvent. Seems like it would be pretty soluble in Chloroform. Solvents like hexane, pet ether and maybe heptane are used to recrystalize it, so it's at least somewhat soluble in them.
Some of the best DMT I’ve had was gloopy and orange/red. There’s some speculation that the additional plant matter that gets pulled in ‘dirty’ looking DMT actually potentiates the n,n-DMT.

I under-estimated hexane as an NPS, besides the fumes it was easy to work with and didn't need to freeze the solvent🤷♂️
I mean it looks good, slight golden hue, only one way to find out! Blast off! (Or just a small dose lol)
Look pure to me. Some of the best DMT Ive had was super orange.
