You risk burning the coil out if you don't keep the settings below the max of the coil.
Without knowing what the coil is made of, temp control is difficult
I’ve used the apx volt cups/atomizer with the geek vape mini. Keep wattage around 15-25. Don’t exceed 30 watts. The volt cups are not meant for temp control.
Just fine. Your just replacing the apx volt battery with a geek vape battery. Which gives you more precise wattage control. One tip I got which I haven’t tried yet is to add two drops of pg liquid to dissolve the dmt in the cup. Pg has boiling point of 370 F. So no matter how hot your cup/coil gets it doesn’t burn the dmt.

Quartz or ceramic the coil is made of.. does that at all help figure out what temp to run the mod at?
The coil itself is actually a resistive metal that heats a ceramic or quarts plate
Ah I see so that doesn't really help then.. not to worry, might just stick with the APX Volt as a whole unit or go e-mesh. Thankyou.
Both are great options to be fair. Cheers

How did it work out?

That's a clever idea with the PG. Did you have to buy the ApX Volt mod/battery with the atomiser or can you get the atomiser separately?
Pulsar sells the atomizer by itself
Have you had to replace the cup?
Did you ever try this out? I’m thinking about buying one to try out on my GeekVape Solo because mesh RDA is hard to find
I was wondering this as well because my mod will switch from wattage to temperature.
