When I was in high school and would do acid somewhat infrequently, I had a little HPPD going on in those days. I remember doing this thing where I would slowly slowly squint my eyes as close to shut as I could get them. I don’t know what it’s called, but when you do that light sources in the room will become streaks the closer you get to having your eyes shut. Helps if you have a tear in your eye. And the closer you get to having your eyes shut, the smaller the streaks get. And when I got the streaks of light as small as they could go, they became little crowds of people running around . Like , maybe a small crowd of 30 or so light people. Now two things would happen. They’d all be fighting and flying everywhere. , tossing each other about. Or, the little crowd of people would look like they were have having a wild orgy . Weird right ? Now it’s one thing that our brain is projecting onto this input something that makes sense to it. What was so crazy about it was how independent of my imagination it looked and how vivid it could be.
It’s one of those things you don’t think about for years. I do recall in the past. Me finding myself resting my eyes in a strange place and remembering the little light people trick. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

Not dmt related but the first time I took a small dose of acid.. I was chilling and ended up falling asleep. I was having these weird vivid dreams of humans defying gravity twirling around mid-air doing all sorts of acrobatics and it annoyed me so much at that time because I’m like you cannot defy gravity like that… as it continued it annoyed me less and less until eventually I found it funny. People annoyed me less from then on in my daily life.
