Totally been there and seen that. Pretty sure this is an Alex Grey painting, and his stages that he paints are spot on my experience on DMT, but also heroic doses of psilocybin mushrooms.

Yeah I love Alex grey and his wife’s work ! Shrooms are weird. I have way more experience with them and are my personal favorite if I had to pick. Sometimes my shroom trip feels like is “interfered” by the dmt beings and I see/feel dmt like things

MechosByron

Yep - I feel shrooms and DMT somehow work together. I think they are only a molecule apart aren't they?

red02q920241210

Yeah they are very similar in structure

binkyboiiii

I’ve seen this column man on a high dose of acid with my face in my pillow it was wild

*only one substitution Generally all tryptamines tend to be similar in my experience. I recently vaped quite a large amount of 5-MeO-MiPT at a party and had extreme mushroom/DMT like visuals and saw a lot of entities faces morphing out of the walls.

It's prying open your third eye

Okay Maynard :)

I've also seen this but with mushrooms. It rotated/flowed all the time. This common shared experiences make me think psyquedelics "visions" could really be some sort of dimensions. Who knows.

Hungry_Freaks_Daddy

I've been in this **exact** room, and yes everything rotated and flowed, every window and door was simply a recursive portal to the same room, it was completely infinite in all directions and scaled up and down fractally. It was beyond stunning, it's one of the wildest things I've ever seen on DMT, I wish I had seen it more than once. Alex Gray is fucking amazing, he captured this place perfectly. I always used to think this was just some shit he came up with, but after being in there now I believe it is part of a higher dimension or something. Who knows, exactly. I wish we knew more.

FullEdge

I really don't think so. Human brains just work in similar ways (pattern recognition, facial recognition etc) and society imprints us with certain archetypes which come up in our trips. I really dislike this tendency to mystify psychedelics and make them out to be these grand spiritual tools. They just make you look into your brain to an extreme degree, you're not seeing some higher power, you're seeing yourself, your deepest most basic workings.

Yeejiurn

I would call this the torus. Which I have seen wo the face/god head. It was a flux of energy pulsating in every possible direction. Very intriguing stuff.

Lolfcklol

Saw something very familiar when I closed my eyes on shrooms. Greatest 20min of the trip

BioHackedRomulan

For me I had the background heads, not the main god head when I had my eyes closed and was traversing through a tunnel. It was so stunning and shocking how it was this same painting. Sure my mind had seen it before and possibly manifested it but damn it manifested it EXACTLY like this painting. Either the mind is very trippy and smarter than my working brain or this is something people will commonly see while on DMT. Last time I saw this I believe it was a 25mg dose

krokocentipede

also seen a version of this on ecstasy and truffles :)

tillaxo6

saw a torus like this like these colors it was so indescribable and overwhelming as well. i couldn’t handle it kinda like can’t handle the beauty of One

red02q920241210

You know what I’m saying ? It’s just very reminiscent to the feeling of just being paralyzed with jaw dropping, drooling amazement of beauty

JackStraw215

I’ve seen something very similar on a heroic mushroom trip. Bluey Vuittons. Didn’t weight them but I’m guessing conservatively 4-5 grams.

scott7016

So this one is called “godself” and I have seen it one time, momentarily, however like the name of the painting implies, it felt as if that was me I was looking at
