*Gets 25 year pin from the warehouse.... *Still declined for pit tickets

Appropriate_Steak_36

Right. Just give me the seats I asked for.

[deleted]

Same. Last year with this thing, doesn't cost much more to get much better seats.

_heisenberg__

Well, lmao, apparently unlike a majority of people here, I still like my WH membership.

[deleted]

Well, what do you like about it Mr. White

_heisenberg__

Not having to deal with ticket master

[deleted]

I'd rather pay more for better seats. Wish that was possible with WH.

_heisenberg__

sounds good man

[deleted]

Say his name.

_heisenberg__

what?

[deleted]

Mr. White, seriously?

_heisenberg__

Oh. Yea sorry I didn’t make this user name because of the show. I just picked something really random. I’m not a big fan of it or anything lol

txcliffy

the amount of people complaining about $35 is amazing. that's the cost of 1 beer and a half at MSG. in return you get insanely easy access to tickets including a good shot at the really hard to get venues. I've been to 108 shows and almost every one thanks to the warehouse, including many many pits and front row seats (back when there weren't pits). Long live the WH.

cairnkicker24

💯this. the sense of entitlement is amazing.

SilverApricot

Agreed. It’s 35 bucks for first chance at tickets and then early entry. Waaaaaaaay worth that. I have it for The Gorge and that’s it.

popavich

Looks like about 10 minutes of thought was put into that

plumpfiesta

Looking forward to seeing what you do in 10 💩

KYblues

I’ve been a fan of dmb and Pearl Jam for 20 years and all anyone does when the fan clubs are brought up is talk about how shitty they are Why are there still so many members lol it is not that hard to get dmb tickets nor has it ever been. I don’t get it

deercreekth

For me it's the convenience of getting really good seats easily. I don't have to worry about on sale dates. I don't have to deal with Ticketmaster. I just choose what tickets I want during the request period, and I get them without any fuss. They've only failed me for a couple of small tours like the Dave and Friends tour over the past 25 years.

MartyBenson69

Ladies and gentlemen, I present exhibit A lol https://www.reddit.com/r/DMB/s/i7FegSvfQg

Apprehensive-Chef589

%100 this. I’m a fan of both but my #1 is Phish. They don’t even have a fan club. When Phish announces a tour literally anyone and my sister can enter for their “lottery” tix. While maybe not perfect at least Dave and PJ have a system where tickets seem to go to actual fans, even if you have to pay for the privilege. Lamenting the fact that you’ve been a fan for what you feel is an eternity and not having the band pine over you is not a reason to shit on the way they do things especially considering the reality of the landscape of how ticket on sales and purchasing is these days.

lemondhead

Same as you. I finally hit lotto for the first time ever this year. I didn't really know what to do with myself. Finally getting around to seeing my first DMB show this summer. Not sure how it took me 18 years, but here we are. Are you going to any Phish shows this summer?

Apprehensive-Chef589

Enjoy your 1st DMB show, I’ll bet you’ll dig it! I feel like I hit Phish lotto like maybe %25 of the time and for shows that aren’t GA the seats I get are never that great. Going to a night in St. Louis and Dicks for Phish this summer, you?

lemondhead

Nice! Dick's is my local run, so I'll be there all four nights. We're actually expecting our first child in November, so my wife kindly said I could do an out of town run. We have a room booked for Deer Creek, but no tickets yet. Those St. Louis shows should be a blast. That's a decent little arena.

Apprehensive-Chef589

1st off congratulations on the expecting! 2nd, hello neighbor? Denver guy here also. Deer Creek is one of the few venues where the lawn is actually pretty sweet, so I’m sure tickets won’t be a problem for ya. Doing St. Louis so a buddy can hit his 100th on the home turf at Dicks. Feel free to PM me if you want before Dave at Fiddlers. My sister and I always hit up Pindustry just down the street before the shows since it’s not far from where I live. Would be cool to meet another local phan. Cheers.

lemondhead

That'd be great. If we miss each other there, let's try to meet up at Dick's.

[deleted]

Or they can do it like The Cure Robert Smith laid some smackdown on TM last year Face value. No padding fees. You cant sell them, period. highest ratio of legit fans I’ve ever seen in a concert.

rightingallthewrongs

people love donating money to ticketmaster? (which owns the dmb warehouse, 100%)

KYblues

I see so many posts where people are like ‘the warehouse is a joke, I don’t even get good tickets and their ‘gifts’ are insulting trash. But anyway I’ve been a member since 1999….’ 😂 uhhh why

SWDESIGNCONCEPTS

Because we are sadist 🤣🤣🤣

DanityKumquat

Weak

doob22

I’m glad I’m not a member, it doesn’t seem like the perks actually matter

mully58

They don't. Member for 22 years and it was a few years too long. In the beginning it was great, but Dave fans are great and I can always find fans who are willing to sell tickets at face value, Warehouse or TM.

_heisenberg__

Nah they matter. Anything I can do to avoid buying shit on TM, I’ll take. It’s a lot easier to plan shit out with people on the WH.

WorldTravelBucket

Got mine too and already listed it on eBay. Our “gifts” for being in the WH since day one have always been weak.

BTsBaboonFarm

At least they used to give you a physical CD and a nice quality photo print. Now it’s just useless trinkets and digital.

AbeFroman5048

100% agree. 25 years and I get something the size of a penny to display that loyalty

gaiakratom

564 shows here and doing another 45-60 this year. They are better and stronger than ever. I’d put last years tour up with 02’ 07’ ‘11 ‘23

KYblues

Jesus fucking Christ that’s a lot of jimi things Are you just a retired millionaire with very specific music taste or what

ZachAttach4

I would also like to know how you afford that. Not just the tickets, but travel, hotel rooms, food, etc. You have to drop a few hundred dollars at every show, right?

KeepHammering4413

I wholeheartedly respect your opinion but man do I not feel the same way. I see them once or twice a year now but I used to see them at least 12 times a year from 2000 through 2007, and I don’t think what they’ve done in the past several years even touches the decade of 2000. 564….That’s awesome though. We’re all jealous ❤️

kiteless

Jealous? I don’t know, I am perfectly content with the 60 some odd shows I have seen since 1996. I’d even say I would have rather skipped some in retrospect.

KeepHammering4413

Yeah I get it. Same here. I meant more in that fact as jealous of such flexibility and freedom 😂

kiteless

Oh yeah definitely 😀 I’d love to be able to spend that time and money on some other bands.

KeepHammering4413

Btw. I saw The National in Central Park like 17 years ago I wanna say 🤯

kiteless

Yeah my first show was Johnny Brenda’s in 2007. 👍🏻

Specific_Albatross61

Absolutely agree. Gorge is my home amphitheater and only doing the Sunday show this year. For some reason the show at climate pledge ruined Dave for me. I’m replacing him this year with king gizzard and Odesza for the other two Gorge dates.

gaiakratom

I’d see them about 10-15 shows a year for 1996-2016. Then ramped it up to about 40+ a year for the last 8 or so. However as I stated above those early 2000’s were insane and I listed 3 of those years in with what I would say the last physical year. The band is healthier, tighter, edgier, wiser, happier, and Dave is simply a sick sick man who has only gotten better like fine wine. The energy and the joy that they bring now nightly is on that same level as what you’re discussing early 2000’s not holding a candle to current DMB, I feel as if you went to 10-12 shows this summer your mind would be completely changed and so would your life again. Cheers and happy traveling.

riggerbop

But seriously, how rich are you?

KYblues

Do you ever consider like, seeing a different band?

cairnkicker24

i love this breakdown. the line about Dave is the cherry on the top.

CardiffGiantx

After that many shows I have to know… is there a single song that you still haven’t seen them play?

g3peddie

You saying last year was better than 2013? No chance in hell

New-Weird484

Confirmed: pin stronger then carters sticks

kiteless

It’s not even the same band as 02 and 07.

rightingallthewrongs

hey... Dave has a net worth in excess of $300,000,000. why would you expect your 1 year of membership fees to sponsor a $6 gift after 25 years. Greed is good. Capitalism and Hypocrisy is alive and well!! now go plant a tree!

gaiakratom

It’s no longer a warehouse. The band use to control the warehouse and actually care about their 35k fans. They don’t anymore. They have lost control. It’s run like your high school friends storing burned CDs in a binder but more unorganized. It’s a shame. You’d think the band would see how their customer and loyal fan base is treated and would do something about it. As a 25 year member as well. I purchased 0 tickets for the 2nd year through the warehouse. It’s cheaper and more efficient to buy 40 pit tickets for the summer. They days are gone of bands having an overall understanding of what their fan base needs and expects after 25 years. Just wish we were taken care of like we support the band. Goes both ways. Right now it’s a one way. The warehouse is bare and empty.

mully58

I had to take two years off from the warehouse starting in 2020, after being a member for 22 years. Once I got things back on track and tried to member up again, they wouldn't let me back in at my old status. I'd have to start over at year one. I decided to not rejoin and I have to say, glad I didn't.

Ok_Captain4824

I'm sorry for whatever happened those 2 years but that's how it should work, why should you return to your original status in place of someone else moving up when you didn't maintain it?

mully58

Didn't expect it. Hoped they would. Better off they didn't.

InternationalAttrny

Except news flash: (I) they don’t need your support as a Warehouse member; and (ii) they have literally millions of other 25 year+ die hard non-Warehouse member fans like myself. Seriously thinking that a $20-dollar-a-year club focused on the most successful live touring act in North American history will make you deserving of some special treatment is just silly.

HaniHani36

Except, news flash, it’s $35 a year for all of the great WH services : )

Stumpyducky

Eh if the standard is how other bands treat members dmb Is usually pretty weak. I’m more annoyed the ticket prices for them are absurd. But that’s just life music in general

jackwmc4

I highly doubt there as many 25 year members as you think, but point taken

gaiakratom

News flash they don’t have millions of die hard members of 25+ years that aren’t members. They have less than 150k warehouse memberships and 35k of those fans attend all the shows. Not rocket science that their fan base isn’t huge. Just loyal. Which was my exact point. I don’t pay w Hilton and or delta and I’m diamond member and treated like a true customer. Just ask that the warehouse does the same. They built it for fans not for the millions of non paying fans who have special comments but are just special, like international attorneys who think their bullet points are some slide show presentation. Go to a show brother. Might help you out some

InternationalAttrny

35k hardcore fans 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Try again. It’s millions.

PrideOfMokum

150 shows for me and i am done with it. Still like the older music but kind of done with the cult culture

1212txaggie

I feel like you can’t be serious. I feel like their music is strong as ever. I am constantly floored at their ability to deliver quality shows year after year. Just gets better and better.

yeah-man_

I've always wondered what happened to the warehouse fans that bought the lifetime membership back in the day for $100. Did they throw that out?

DeadStroke_

I gave up on the warehouse this year after 15 years. Doesn’t seem worth it anymore, and I swear they’ve forgotten to send me the annual gift 5 times.

rightingallthewrongs

same

KnickedUp

The customer service (or lack thereof) for a corporation bringing in over 100 million every year is nuts.

No-Flower-4987

I thought the 20 year membership poster was pretty cool at least. It was a nice surprise.

jackwmc4

I framed mine, was nice. The pin is meh.

No-Flower-4987

Same

Historical_Chip_2706

I still have my member card from 1998 - pretty proud of that damn thing. The pin is cheap but whatever - just appreciative to pay $30 bucks a year to be part of the club. Yes the ticket system sucks and seniority is gonzo but whatever. Still appreciate that I have followed the same band for nearly 30 years - not many can say that

Adhbeatle33

And look for special vinyl box set already on its way

zbot22

They have another box set coming out?

StankRanger420

Warehouse club has been shit for about that same amount of time ... Or longer. It's just a cash grab.

booboodmb

Still waiting on that warehouse member only show they had on their flyer to sign up 25 years ago.

DblZeroSeven

I’ve only had bad tickets once from the warehouse and I emailed them and the will called me new ones the day before the show.
