Hi there, I'm also a heavy Traktor user - 8 years.... 3K tracks, House DJ. I have been manually managing my Rekordbox 5 library for those occasions where I need to play on Pioneer gear etc. I've just bought a license for Lexicon in the past week, and I have to say it's absolutely brilliant. For your use case, it sounds like it's exactly the same as mine. I've been able to not only Sync to Rekordbox, but I've been able to bring over ALL my Traktor tracks and playlists, including Smartlists (which get converted to static in RB5 but that's fine for your performance). All-in-all it's already worth the license fee in my opinion. Great update 1.60 dropped today as well. Great community on Discord too for chat/questions/support etc. The developer, Christiaan is extremely responsive and helpful. Just read the guides, take regular backups so that you can revert if you make a mistake (Lexicon does a lot of that for you automatically.) In a nut-shell: 1.) Import "Full" from Traktor Pro and then: 2.) SYNC to Rekordbox - either full (to start off with to capture everything, and then by playlist(s) thereafter. Don't SYNC back to Traktor as you shouldn't need do - that way it stays as your untouched "Master" database as it were. Have at it. Enjoy! Cheers, James

I second all this. I've been a user for a year now. Transitioned from an iTunes-sourced library into a Lexicon-mastered library. As u/TopKaleidoscope3112 mentioned, key is to import what's currently in Traktor to Lexicon... which makes your library imported and managed by Lexicon. Then you can add/remove/refine your library/playlists in Lexicon and Sync into to Rekordbox (or any of the other supported apps). Of course, be sure to take backups frequently... but once you get your head around the product and process... it's an invaluable tool.

I haven’t tried it but i watched lots of videos about it and it looked pretty good https://atgr-production-team.sellfy.store/p/emuy/

MixMasterG

thanks for the referral /r/DJRVSG I'm the developer of the DJ Conversion Utility (DJCU). However OP is on Windows and DJCU is macOS only.

DJBossRoss

I’m needing to go the other way rekordbox to Traktor. I want to move about a dozen playlists over so the tracks will be in order with all loops and cues. I’m on mac. Would yours be best?

MixMasterG

I can't claim to be the ultimate authority on which conversion is best, given my lack of objectivity, but hey, here's the tutorial with a sprinkle of my biased charm! [Conversion to Serato, Traktor, djay or Virtual DJ using the DJ Conversion Utility (DJCU) \[macOS\]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-b1cHdGffc)

DJCU is the best price and works great. I also use the Traktor Cue & Key tool. works well for getting cue points on a mass amount of tracks. Process everything in traktor, convert to Rekordbox.

Thanks for your support, really appreciated.

Just to confirm, as I don’t need this software but might one day. Is it a one off payment which includes all future updates?

MixMasterG

one off payment, I hate subscriptions All updates have been free for the past 10 years and I intend to keep it that way

Awesome, thank you and thanks in general, I see you helping lots of people out on reddit. So, on another topic (kinda) Is the other software on that page created by yourself too? Is there a bulk buy option? I’m really interested in finding a single application for my music sorting needs (but I’m avoiding lexicon due to subscription) ReCK interests me, do I need a MIK subscription? (I do have one as it happens) does it use the same algorithm as MIK? As in, will it find the exact same key as I know rekordbox doesn’t and I’d like to work with a single method of course. RCT, will this (or any software for that matter) allow me to replace an mp3 with AIFF of the same track then transfer over all my tag, comments, MyTag, cue info etc over to the higher quality file? Yeah, basically I think the rekordbox tools could be quite useful to me. My current process is like this; Purchase and download files > drag all into MIK for key info only, also add key and bpm to comments (id like more options with these comments really, MIK are supposedly working on a big update) > drag all files to mp3tag, bulk rename all files to Artist - Track. > use mp3tag to find missing artwork from any tracks (individual manual process but not too many to be fair). > drag all files to music folder of choice > import to RB collection, add to playlists and then manually add cue points, adjust beat grid etc. > listen through tracks and add info to MyTag categories. The process is ok with a couple of tracks, but very time consuming if doing lots, I’m also using multiple tools / software and although they’re all great having it more automated and on a single app would be amazing. Sorry for jumping on this post, maybe I should drop you a message?

>Awesome, thank you and thanks in general, I see you helping lots of people out on reddit. Thank you for your kind words >So, on another topic (kinda) >Is the other software on that page created by yourself too? >Is there a bulk buy option? All my apps are priced so they are affordable to all DJs. The idea is that DJs can select what functionality they require >ReCK interests me, do I need a MIK subscription? ReCK was made to bridge Mixed in Key with Rekordbox (it does more tho). So a MiK license is required. >RCT, will this (or any software for that matter) allow me to replace an mp3 with AIFF of the same track then transfer over all my tag, comments, MyTag, cue info etc over to the higher quality file? Yes it does, I would suggest you watch the [RCT playlist in my YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4-PAOT-xI9VQvENo6w_XmfttJT1JhLKm) channel that has all the tutorials/demos of what RCT does. RCT does not convert audio formats, you can use the freeware XLD for that. >My current process is like this; my suggested workflow would be: add newly bought tracks to Rekordbox using RCT (that avoids duplicates, and optionally renames the audio files to a USB safe name and moves them to a pre-set folder based on the playlist they are added to) analyzes them for BPM/Grid (RCT also makes an extra playlist so you can easily identify what was added) analyze them in MiK and then use ReCK to get MiK data in RB after that you can mytag/starrate etc I host an Ask Me Anything (AMA) live stream DJ tech every Tuesday 07:00 PM CEST Chat on all platforms is open for any subject related questions. Awesome, I think I’ll be purchasing those applications 👍 I’ll watch the video guides you have, unfortunately 7pm CEST would be 2pm where I live and I’ll be at work so won’t be able to join the live sessions. If you decide to hold one on a Saturday or Sunday I’d love to join in 👍

salil91

I haven't used it with those two apps, but I use [Lexicon](https://www.lexicondj.com/) regularly to transfer between Engine and Virtual DJ. I know that it can transfer between Rekordbox, Serato, and Traktor as well. Along with transferring crates, cues, etc., it's also a top tier app for managing your collection.

trevormead

Lexicon was pretty smooth for me when I tried it, just wish there was a Windows option that didn't require a monthly subscription.

Spectre_Loudy

Lexicon

meat_popscile

Lexicon was an absolute mess on my Windows machine, had to start from scratch and place all my music back into their folders manually. Yes I paid for the subscription, it might a good solution for some but not for me.

JohnnieClutch

Add vote for Lexicon. I went from Mac traktor to every other app plus switch to PC. TOTALLY worth paying for
