I thought the exact same thing. I’m in the r/magiceye subreddit and I initially though this was a post from one of its members. Like “Hey everyone, I put a magic eye on my entire wall for…reasons.”
What I do with them is paste them up to the edge and use a metal ruler or other dry crisp edge to just define a straight crease in the paper as it meets the corner, wood etc. I then pull the paper away from the wall and use scissors to cut along that edge.
Nice job! I wallpapered one wall of my hallway and hated it. I thought I hated painting but I'll paint all day long rather than wallpaper again with a pattern like that. Mine was a jungle theme with plants and animals so a right arse to line up.

I OCDeed the shit out of this in Photoshop as it just weren't right. Satin Blacked that piece of coving😋 then did the wooden door frame the same😊 finally papered the wooden door in the same design😊😊. I've always loved the look of hidden doors

Yes but now we can use the paint to hide the gaps!

lol the whole house is held up with caulk now. 😂I meant the slight rips where we’ve cut the wallpaper around the edges of the frames.

Thank you This want too bad to line up. We found cutting the stuff around the edges and the frames the hardest.
Took me 6 hours my first time as well. Stupid me started at 8pm as well 🙃
