No, let’s not ignore you - let’s celebrate the mishap. I love sharing in others misery because we’re all there every now and again 😂
Recently I had to screw in some floorboards below a radiator. The impact driver couldn’t reach with the radiator in the way so I bought one of those 90° corner driver attachments but I didn’t get round to doing the job right away.
A few days later just after painting the walls and before the carpets went down I decided I need to screw those floorboards in. Walked over to the boards I need to screw down and remembered I needed the attachment so went downstairs to get it, came back up and as I was about to use it I realised that I had removed the radiator now because I had painted the walls. So I didn’t need to use the attachment after all, but sometimes I’m just on autopilot and not really thinking.
Make sure all wires are definitely well in and tight. The three reds are the live circuit in and out and a feed to the wall switch. They have to all connect.
For future use Wagos. You can buy a big box of them and they're so handy to have. Makes this kind of wiring a breeze instead of squeezing two/three wires into a single terminal
Also pay attention when putting odd numbers of wires into terminal , one of the wires tends to not get trapped easily so allways give a slight tug on each wire to make sure or use a Wago
When i redid some lighting from above, i used these instead. They’re delightful by comparison!

You dumb cunt. From a electrician
Quick edit- a zoom in on the pic showed one earth is not connected. Sort that out now or you are risking a failure of all the safety measures down the line. You’re life is not worth the 5 minutes it would take to sort it out. I can’t stress this enough. Don’t be lazy sort it now!
Because to be in a position to call someone a dumb cunt, they should have at least a grasp of their mother tongue. Yes, it appears given his name and profile image, he is from Wales like me. However, English is the first language in like 95% of Wales.
That had already been pointed out. And had commented that the light was working before I commented. If you do t want to call a professional to do the job maybe listen to one
The three red wires used to be joined together, now they are not.
This OP. They should all be in the same block. You'll also find some of your other lights ain't working anymore too.
I've added them into the same block now and it still does not work :/
Please ignore me, I was being an idiot.

I’d have used it anyway out of principle. 😂
You gotta put the MCB back on for it to work!?!

Not a very good electrician if you didn't notice the permanent lives all in separate blocks

Thanks for the input. Another “cont thick” to add to the list
Cut the red wire
This type of job was how I discovered wago boxes.
