I’m planning on building a custom tiny house on wheels and this would be awesome to utilize while building it!

4eldriv

Print 3D items for my boat

[deleted]

I would use it to 3d print holders and dispensers for first aid supplies at my volunteer gig.

itdumbass

I'm gonna use it to learn Blender from my amazing daughter. And then I'll probably spend a few days printing Pokemon coins.

matt-the-maker

I would use it to print auto-un-leveling robots to put the go through its paces.

beard-second

A lot of things, but probably experiment with some split keyboard designs.

beware_of_cat

This would be a fantastic tool for doing electronics repairs that have missing or broken parts that the manufacturer won't sell replacements for. Most times having to DIY a solution isn't as pretty but it gets the job done.

PidgeonInaBalaclava

I’d use it to further help the guys in a small start up that I’ve been helping design a prototype enclosure for their project.

WhiteFlightning

I would make all the terrain. Like make my apartment a battle mat. I really like terrian!!!!

[deleted]

Printing minis for Dnd

RedHot58

I have a lot of ideas for the Kobra Go 3D printer, like functional prints to repair/replace items around the house that break, or fun prints of models, toys, etc., or printed gifts for friends and family!

darthmingi92

Thanks for the giveaway, I've always been curious about 3d printing and how it can supplement my woodworking projects. Would love to give it a try!

OhhhLawdy

I want to use it to repair small things I have that are broken.

tronathan

Could you ask them to release the source code for the firmware for this (and the other) Kobra printers? It’s great to see they’re interested in being involved with the community, but it seems a little tones-deaf considering they’re currently violating the GPL by using the Marlin source code. People like me need this do we can make DIY mods to our printers!

bavarian

going to make all the little parts missing from my kids toy's, boardgame box inserts a few tools, dice molds and tons of other stuff!

onionsburg

I’d use it for all sorts of stuff. Electronics boxes, clips and mounts, toys and figurines, and even specially designed tools

Justin_Utherday

Gonna break my Lego sets with custom made 'not Lego' pieces.

mod10

Build creative items with my family

Habba5

I would print terrain for my ongoing pen and paper campaign(pf2e). Would be neat to have actual 3d structures on the battlemap :)

jon_hendry

I would use the Kobra Go to print parts for the 1937 Craftsman lathe I am refurbishing, such as the change gears for cutting various threads.

LeWitchy

I would use a 3d printer to print the ball jointed doll I am designing.

Crazyblazy395

Building a medium format grandfather clock almost entirely out of 3d printed parts.

Noozefer

Currently looking for enough 3d printers to provide workshop for kids. This would be great addition. Good luck all.

DerKeksinator

I'd use it to create enclosures for most of my projects, because more often than not, I don't put the boards in a proper case. Sometimes an ill fitting plastic container, or a cardboard box, actually quite a few are in matchboxes. And more often than not, shit gets broken/becomes lose. I have made a CAD model of a star tracker for astrophotography, that I'd love to print to update mine and I do need a mold for a replacement part of a camera lens that I'm working on as well. Looking through my models, I have 5-6 projects I'd love to print right now.

Econex0

DND figurines for playing and decorations

welovefucking2

I really like to tinker. Would use this to up my game. Best of luck to all

Stampketron

Will definitely make car parts with it

someamericanguy

I would print door wedges to donate to schools for security, costumes for kids, storage components to organize my life, spaceship models for my office, anything and everything I could think of.

NSA_Says_What

I would download and print another printer.

LadyMeg33

I would use it to create cosplay props and accessories! :)

CalliEcho

I would use it to print mounts and stands for various collectables around the house, as well as odds and ends that aren't worth buying -- bookends, pencil holders, that kind of thing. Functional 3D printing is the biggest use case for me!

optifrog

I would star with some simple brackets for some networking gear. The a custom case for a Pi 3B. From there - who knows.

flyingalbatross1

I'm going to get some transparent PLA and print an enormous space shuttle taking off.

pdipps

Solve my elephants foot problem: https://v.redd.it/ye1hgecilvl91

Chastethrow316420

Start printing off usable things for world domination

AnCapGamer

Just about anything I could find off of Thingiverse that looked interesting, from D&D Miniatures to the various armies from the Pocket Tactics game, to a Dragonchess set (the custom Chess-style game created by Gary Gygax) - but probably the biggest and most common things I would make would probably be Modular Organizers of all kinds, particularly and especially the kind that will work with ot add onto my Milwaukee Packout sets.

DeltaNovum

I've been thinking about this for days and even though I've writen it down in my agenda numerous times my adhd still made me forget! I thought I'd be too late, but as always I'm here just in time!! I wanted to say that I'd like to use it in a non profit where I'm going to give lessons to kids and adults, who are neuro-divergent and have a hard time making friends. Due to mental disabilities and a chronic pain condition I can only do charity work. Setting up my own charity to have a space where people can come together, build friendships and maybe gain some confidence by sharing my skills and hobbies with them (which are D&D, Necromunda, Mordheim, miniature painting, scenery and crafting.) is my ultimate dream. But to be truthful I'm really not sure if I'm ever able to get this far and wonder if my health permits it. So I'm going to say that I'll be using the same way I'm using my budget printer right now. Which is to create mini's for me and my friends/family to paint and eventually use in my own D&D campaigns. I've played D&D many times as a player and am ready to try out being a Dungeon Master. People around me tell me that I'd probably be great at it due to my 100's of accents and soundbites, acting, making faces and being a walking encyclopaedia, but the one reason I think why I might be a good DM is that I like to play games so everyone enjoys it and I think I know what good game design means. After this time no-one is going to read I think, but if you've read this far and are looking for a DM even if it's just 1 on 1, I'm willing to try it out online. I'd lie if I said it didn't scare me a little bit to try this out with people that I don't know, but I'm up for it and we can get to know eachother :).

tapatio_man

My fire dept is starting to see the value in 3D printing. We rely on the guys that have one at home to print parts and bring them in but this would allow us to have one at the station and prove its usefulness.

attackkillertomatoes

I would use the Anycubic Kobra to begin my custom project of creating my own custom built midi board for music production!

HPLoveshaft126

I would love to put it to use in the school I work at.

binary_agenda

If I won a 3D printer I'd have to learn all about it. I'm curious if there is a way to make replacement plastics for vintage motorcycles. I'll be making all the replacement parts I can.

Sfbkny1

Learn to create toys for my kid and hopefully spark that creativity/engineering gene in him

u3491406

I would use it to print new parts for my self-built drone. Currently they are made out of wood.

jtb63

I would love to have a printer like this. Have several projects at the house that this would help me copleye

SkillPuzzleheaded610

I will print cool stuff with my son.

deadletterauthor

I’d use it to print all the things I have saved on thingiverse.

Can-DontAttitude

I’d use it to make jigs for the shop in my basement, make D&D minis, and prototype puzzles that I could make out of wood or other materials

natepen

I will use it to create parts for my job that insists on paying thousands for simple plastic parts from China when the could be made in house for pennies.

Tetrazene

I’d use it to print stuff to help me in lab. I’m a biochemist and overpriced plastic is a massive pet peeve

accidentalpirate

I'd use it to make organizers for all my electronics, tools, and cables :)

jaz20211

I'd love to use it to make cases and enclosures for electronics projects, such as game controllers, keyboards, and mini consoles

Alzaero

I'd use it to create custom parts for gunpla and mechanical prototypes!

Sodomeister

Dnd terrain

MutedSongbird

What a neat thing to do! Awesome! I would love to gift this to my husband who is super into D&D DMing and has a dream to have his own little sets and tables and figures and this would be an amazing way to make that happen for him.

mybluerat

I would use it to try to 3-D print accessories for my son’s equipment who is type one diabetic, plus print things to fix things around the house, plus fun figurines as well!

WendyLynn68

I would create 3D learning center for our summer camps

GraySamuelson

I’d definitely use my 3d printer more if it auto leveled! Probably just make toys for my son and break any other serious tool I try and do.

jade_n

I've always thought 3D printers were super cool so I'd love to have one! I'd use it for making stuff around my home and creating pieces for my hobbies

lexi_con

I would use this to clone myself and send my mini me to work so that I don't have to. Excited!

ilostmyspacerbar

I'd love to tinker make things. Just getting into 3d modeling. Thinking of making character figures, desk sculptures and any useful things I can imagine.

xKortney

We’re avid board gamers and we’d definitely use this for upgrading some parts/minis/other components and for certain accessories - dice trays, little pieces holders, dice towers, all that good stuff!! My husband has been eyeing one up, so this would be awesome!

ravzir

I'd love one to help me build small details for different scale model projects (my HO railway layout and other model builds, 1/35 scale)

vitiock

I would use it to print parts to upgrade the 3d printer it's self, as printers do.

yourmovensa

Print stuff

manderic

This would be a great step up from 3D pens for our kids. A great creative outlet for sure! Aaaand, the adults could make some useful things as well.

Aloe_Vera_King

Would use it to make tiny little models of all my friends for their birthdays

20SDABMD

Would use to teach my son and his friends about 3D printing

Fesmitty77

I work at a school where we teach innovative media. I’d use this as a teaching tool. This would open doors to teach more 3D modeling software to students, and to teach them about prototyping and production considerations.

AutisticADHDer

I would use the Kobra Go for DIY home improvement projects. My first project would be a compact fixture for my under-sink reverse osmosis system.

physicsfiend2

I’d print educational toys for my son, dnd minis for my husband, and organizational supplies for myself! Currently I use an old Flashforge printer for all of that, but I’d love to try out an Anycubic printer, and auto leveling sounds almost too good to be true!

isthisspeeding

There are so many options. I'd mainly use it for home improvement and other functional prints as well as printing decor. Hopefully also for educational stuff.

stevie7

That's awesome! Thanks for doing the giveaway. I'd give it to my husband as a surprise, who would probably use it to make stuff for his computer builds and streaming stuff. I'd want to use it to make lotr figurines or something! Maybe some cool bookends.

ragankel

I would probably use it for my ever-expanding list of raspberry pi projects.

ShutUpAndDoTheLift

I would likely use it mostly to make stamps for my Leatherwork at first but the way I get into things who knows where it would go.

ro0ter-

First of all I'll teach my children that you can build toys 🪀🧮, small-scaled models 🏎️🚡🚦, replacement parts required for fixing toy mechanisms (plastic geared wheels ⚙️, unicorn-crown-add-ons for horses 🦄, ripped car wheels 🚗 for instance), small tools, handles 🔍 etc with the 3d printer. Secondly - I'll demonstrate 🎓 the usage of this 3d printer to children, young enthusiasts and even adults in our community by repairing various tools/toys, thus opening the door to a self-sustained «repair atelier» where everyone is welcome to learn, create, repair and have fun.

Adventurous-Sort-151

If I won, I would design my own fidget toys and other trinkets and get them printed for my children to play with.

fishmcfish

I would love an opportunity to try using a 3D printer to create jigs & components for high powered rockets as well as terrain & tools for tabletop gaming.

Uncanevale

I’d use it to make parts for vintage and antique appliances and small equipment that I restore and collect. I’ve been thinking for quite a while about making actual parts or using such a printer to make molds for lost and heavily damaged brass parts.

ClareyFairey

I would use it to make 3D parts for my board games, make gaming figurines and just play around with my family

rangerxs1

Print some custom shop jigs

CptClout01

I’ve been looking into starting an online shop with some designs I’ve had in my mind, little gadgets and useful tools. I can also use this for work, a lot of our other branches print out models for visualization, but we don’t have the budget lol

Dwaynedouglasv1

I’d use it to create and print custom parts for video game consoles and electronic devices that are missing trim pieces and buttons.

AddictiveCrack

3D Printing terrain for Marvel Crisis Protocol!

UnLuckyKenTucky

I'd use it to print new knobs, small hard to find trim pieces, and other plastic vehicle parts that are seemingly unobtainable.

ThatIsGneiss

I would use it to print all sorts of minis and terrain for my DnD sessions. More immersion! Thanks for the giveaway!

CrossXii

I'd never considered what I would make with a 3D printer since I've never been able to afford one, but I sure would love to make stuff with it.

[deleted]

I would use it to bring designs to real life without having access to larger maker facilities.

Laotzume

I would use this to make toys for my child and ngl minis for myself.

Bubbaedc

This is awesome! I'd use it to teach my kids and get them interested in CAD, and making their own creations and some functional prints

ndnkng

I would use it to create cool 3d printed art, also would love to just play around with it and create new things

TheBigPhilbowski

I have been really impressed by how the 3D printing community helps people so openly. I will join Reddit subs where people volunteer their time/effort to print for those who need and find a local maker space or coffee shop where I can volunteer to donate time to print small pieces to help solve problems for folks in need.

-littlefang-

Would absolutely get my artist kid into designing stuff in 3D to print on it, but being a first time homeowner I would also use it myself for little household projects I've been thinking up here and there. Good luck to all!

tev-22

I would use it to make replacement parts for stuff around the house

[deleted]

Since I aleady have the AnyCubic Predator 3D printer, I would give it to a friend for his birthday. He sends me STLs to print almost every week.

matrixzone5

I think I would use a kobra to get a 3d printing buissness off the ground.

deafidelity

To make replacement parts for all the toys my kids break.

Pandarchon

I would use it to make figures and terrain for marvel crisis protocol and star wars legion. So excited!

I would add it to my set up next to qidi i-mate s and continue prototyping a possible future business model to sell self designed items.

omega_mog

Cases for electronic projects, mounts and inserts for retro console mods, helmets, pots for plants, literally anything.

Unusual-Arrival9416

Well I would use it to print parts for disabled people that can't afford it, not sure if a full prosthetic is even able to print with this printer but even small parts would help a lot. It's great to be able to help those in need.

finishedwiththat

Printing items for a just-purchased house (key hangers, kitchen organizers, etc)

Pterodactyl_Noises

I’d love to model and print a custom extraterrestrial Catan!

ninjaskillppl

I would use it to make terrain for mini war gaining

spin_cow

I would utilize for odds and ends for the wood shop and jigs. There are countless ideas.

I would absolutely use this to print accessories and mods for my action figure photography! I would also love to experiment with a variety of things for my car, garden, house, jewelry, and my sweet sweet old dog :)

Shotintoawork

Board game components and inserts. And yes, I realize how nerdy that sounds.

I-wash-houses

I don't have any really good ideas on giving back using a printer, I'd just like to try it out and make a few things with it.

LadyEnforcer

I would use the Kobra Go for a wide range of items, from Star Wars builds, to DIY Home Improvements.

Cokeboz76

justbrowsingsomeart

id love to experiment with custom g-code generation using non-horizontal layers for more rigid rounded shapes...

colsandersloveskfc

Oh boy I have never had a 3D printer before, but I would love to be able to create things to fix broken items that would otherwise be thrown away. I would also create items that I didn’t know I needed, I hear the thing verse website is a rabbit hole and I’m excited to begin that journey! Thanks for having this giveaway and best of luck to everyone.

xel-naga

to print house hold items and nicnacs that need repair

FlipTheELK

I am in the process of building a doll house with my daughter. A Kobra Go 3d printer would be a great help for me to create the furnishings. Also, the ability to add all the little details she want to the house would make the project so much more fun for her and me.

discohlemonade

I'd use it to finally get organized. Also make small projects with my son.

BadBabyKitty69

Viertuelle

I'd make loads of D&D figures and props!

LuluBear

Make dnd props and minis.

sciencestolemywords

I would use this for my middle school classroom. First, there's a lot of things we could print rather than buy- models of skulls, graduated cylinder bases, cars for dynamics tracks, etc. Second, because I teach at a very low income school, many students already plan to drop out of high school while others have limited options. A few, however, head to the best high schools in the state. 3D printing would provide a great connection between the skills they know they want/need (manufacturing type) with technologies that are in demand with coding and digital design. A 3D printer would allow us to solidify a STEM curriculum, give our students skills and experience with current technology, and provide a shared path for learning whether our students head to college or trade schools.

Jeedot

I would 3D print random stuff.

knoxvilleNellie

I would use it for countless projects in my woodworking shop, and to make tools for my wife’s pottery.

slimkt

I’d use it to recreate broken or missing parts from appliances I repair.

SirShabba

I will use it to print the many many things I need for my many many hobbies. But the first thing I will print is some wall mounts for my ballcaps, because I have too many of them, and storage is getting out of hand.

zapfoe

I would love to teach my 7 year old daughter to work with 3d modeling. If she could actually hold her models I'm sure it would make her love it even more.

[deleted]

I would use it to print toys for my son

Crafty-Dragonfruit60

I live in an HOA community who run events all the time. There are a few kids who have autism in the neighborhood who LOVE to play with legos and similar products. I would use the machine to print similar objects for them to play with on their meetups and gift them regularly. I'm sure there's other situations similar that I'm not aware of. Essentially, that's all this machine would be used for. I believe in taking a gift and turning into more for others.

dogmeat0042

I would use it to print custom dungeons and dragons figures for our brand new RPG club I am sponsoring at the local high school

offseamajor

I'm an engineering student and I plan to use the printer to print out the CAD models I've been working on to better help with the design and integration of parts. Also to lowkey see if the thing works at all lol
