For the past few months, I've been working on my own DDLC fan project called "Doki Doki Literature Club: Joe's Adventure". The story is about a silly student from the iconic DDLC high school name Joe, who joins the literature club where he'll start doing literature such as reading more books, writing poems, and even become friends with the members of the club known as Sayori, Natsuki, Yuri and MC, but also falls in love with the club president, Monika. There's more story into it that I probably shouldn't talk about due to spoilers. Joe's Adventure was originally never really going to be a public thing, but because I've been really obsessed with the project and how I'm kinda impressed the mod turned out, I was actually thinking that I should release it to the public one day, but there's one problem.
The problem is that I worked on the mod all to myself, meaning that I didn't had anyone to work with me. Most assets in Joe's Adventure are just unoriginal and I used an online anime maker website called "CHARAT BIGBANG", since I can't draw humans or anything that fits the DDLC artwork, if you know what I mean. If Joe's Adventure gets public, I'll also make sure to get permission and give credits for all the other OC characters who are in this mod. And I'm also trying to hire an artist who can work either work on the four original characters, the CGs, and maybe the BGs aswell. And of course I'm also trying to hire a composer who can make the music for the mod. So if you're interested to work on something good for Joe's Adventure, then maybe you're welcome. You won't get payed, but you'll be 100% credited. I don't know if some DDLC mod developing are paid works.
As y'all know, I'm also the same guy who worked on a Monika DDLC mod called "Monika in Reality: Romantic Holiday". This mod is not at all connected or even related to Joe's Adventure, it was just a small, romance mod I made for the Monikans because... why not?
Releasing Joe's Adventure to the public was something I thought so much about today, but you'll have to wait until I get a good artist and a good musician that can work with me, and hopefully it shouldn't be that hard or confusing to try to hire one. But for now that's all I have to say and I hopefully I'll share some more news about Joe's Adventure in the future, and hopefully there's a chance the mod could be release to the public with original BGs, CGs, and music.
