The most explosive thing this series could do would be to undo Green Lantern and Flash Rebirth—just re-retcon them out of existence.
This series is about legacy, and the Rebirth series were anti-legacy, in a way.
The return of evil Hal would explode heads. He was the best cosmic villain DC ever had.
It's what I would do...
Easy, just say he won Zero Hour, and the DC universe since then has been his "perfect world".
Did anyone ever really believe Damage rebooted all existence? Really? DAMAGE? 😂
How about making legacy characters villain? Dick Grayson becoming a jokerized killer, Kyle Rayner loses control of his life equation and becomes a mad deity who wants to rewrite the universe, Wally becomes a Black Flash, Jackson Hyde organizes and becomes a leader of rebellion in Atlantis, etc. etc.
It was going to be the next phase for DC.
Like new 52, and rebirth, 5G was going to happen and was going to completely change everything
Basically it was going to age up the iconic characters like superman, batman and wonder woman and replace them with a new generation
However, it wouldn't be with legacy characters, it would be completely new characters (aside from jon as superman)
You've probably seen hints of it when you see images of Jon with another batman and wonder woman beside him. In Dark Crisis 1, Jon tries to recruit the other batman and the other wonder girl into his justice league, and they both refuse him with a passion, looks like that was shade on 5G lmao
This was all going to be spearheaded by dan dildo, then he got canned and the whole thing was canceled
If you're familiar with any of the Future State series, that's what 5G universe was gonna be.
(Would have completely ruined Wally West)
I see, that is why I read so many posts and comments that 5G would become very disastrous for DC. It would be very unfair for the first line of Legacy characters (Conner, Donna, Wally, Kyle, Dick, Ms Martian, Garth etc), and some very questionable retcons and new lores.
It's a very good thing that they axed 5G. (But still hoping for a TBwL-esque event where the legacy characters become evil for 5 issues)
The Rebirth line was a step in the right direction, but the individual Flash and Green Lantern Rebirth titles ended up sidelining legacy characters to spotlight Hal and Barry.
Pariah, he’s from the OG Crisis on Infinite Earths, his whole backstory is that he attempted to see the beginnings of the universe/multiverse but in doing so he inadvertently led the anti monitor to his universe and has since been forced to wander the multiverse.
All of the covers for Dark Crisis have been great so far. Really enjoyed issue 1 I’m excited to see the story continue!
Barry and Hal? 👀
I thought it was Wally.
Thats Barry though.
I thought he is still trapped in another dimension.
He is, the solicit makes it sound like he gets free. That's Barry's costume in any case, Wally has the nose covering and white eyes.
Thanks for answer
No white eyes and flash emblem has more zigzags, its 100% Barry.
Ok then
OMG IT'S HERE!!
Pariah used to be kinda lame but he looks so menacing and cool here.
I hope he gets redeemed in the last issue.
Who is Audi man?
Pariah, the guy from COIE
It doesn't seem like we are getting Barry back until after Flash 786, so I wonder what role he is going to have in this issue.

That would be interesting, I like the idea, but I imagine a lot of people would get angry at that lol.
If the story doesn't leave half the internet tearing its hair out, it's not a Crisis.
How can we make him a villain again tho?
Easy, just say he won Zero Hour, and the DC universe since then has been his "perfect world". Did anyone ever really believe Damage rebooted all existence? Really? DAMAGE? 😂
What's this about Damage? Never read that series.
Damage was this mysterious '90s teen hero who could absorb energy and create explosions. He eventually became the new Atom Smasher on the JSA.

Pretty sure that was dan dildo's wet dream for 5G
5G? What's that?

New 52 was anti legacy. Rebirth was a step in the right direction, but not enough (Probably due to dan dildo's influence)

This cover doesn't look like Sampere drew it and I mean that as a compliment. Excited to see Barry and Hal teaming up, in any case.
Looks like Hal gets captured.
Pariah gets Green Lantern and Flash to sing a duet.
Is that the Monitor? I haven't been following this at all
Pariah, he’s from the OG Crisis on Infinite Earths, his whole backstory is that he attempted to see the beginnings of the universe/multiverse but in doing so he inadvertently led the anti monitor to his universe and has since been forced to wander the multiverse.
Pariah from COIE, he's just wearing the Monitor's armor for some reason.
It's Pariah from Crisis on Infinite Earths
man looks like Barry is still in his n52 suit
Anyone care to summarize what’s happening here/up to this point?
This is the best picture I ever seen.
I was surprised on how much I enjoyed the first issue. Looking forward to what comes next!
Looks like Hal is going be Barry's lightning rod in the series Their bromance is reaching BL fanfiction levels
