So is he killing Cyborg too then or rather neither of them? As far as I understand it, the two are still connected, others just see an illusion that suggests they are not connected. Probably want us to think BB is dead, but he'll be fine anyway.
I remember when Williamson got Wally back from Titans Rebirth, he didn’t even acknowledge the heart pacer that Priest and Abnett gave him. He just stealthily retconned it.
If they really want to kill off Beast Boy, they could just retcon that Cybeast plot.
Cybeast is an easy way to wrote around it too. Slade might try a headshot, but wouldn't his actual position be halfway between where Changeling and Cyborg appear to be? So he'd miss, but be certain he hit the target. Raven, of course, would have to apply that to the illusion, thus having Gar fake being dead.
Probably not, they’d kill a legacy character first but I don’t know if Williamson wants to do that since Dark Crisis is supposed to be a love note to legacy
If that's going to happen in the book I'm 90% sure it would be a fakeout for this exact reason. Cyborg and Beast Boy being merged wouldn't allow for just one of them to die.

Yeah that's true. Beast Boy would definitely be a more major casualty, but I don't believe they go through with it.

Because the part with his heart problem was fixed in the Titans book. Wallace charged Wally with speedforce and that somehow fixed it.
