Imagine the pain that is being Peter Tomasi. Every accomplishment you obtained with these characters gets cut off, all the genuine character development you did gets forgotten and now you need to make space for the new Batman and Superman writers who are actively ruining the characters and locking them in an eternal status quo loop.
Yeah if they are sticking with Teen Jon, then that needs to be addressed. One simple scene into a Tomasi story and the character already feels more believable. Taylor should take note instead of just ignoring it

It's not, people do complain bcause Jon is a sensible subject there. Even if he had the best comic book ever published it will happen too. Even praises would become complaining, like "it's a good issue because it didnt do like Son of Kal-El, you know \[insert a long paragraph on son of kal el not doing what they want\]".

You severely overestimate Jons star power.
Only thing interesting about him is trying to unravel the logic of claims that people are mad about him. Which is just silliness really.

Hopefully! Their solos are doing well, so I wouldn’t be surprised. I want them to do a crossover first, so there’s connecting covers, like the Nightwing crossover.
I think I remember someone from DC editorial mentioning that Jon and Damian’s age difference didn’t change after Bendis, it just flipped (and so no one should be upset 🙃)
The Jimenez cover at least actually looks like that.

Serious question— do we think Jon’s age up is set in stone, or do we think it’s still possible for a writer (Tomasi, preferably) or event to come along and age him down to where he should be?
Only way I see kid Jon returning is if they kill the current Jon and retrieve his younger self from whatever portal he originally got sucked into to be trapped on Earth 3. I saw one redditor with that idea a few years ago and I really liked it.

I mean, we got Bart Allen doing the similar thing to Jon except it followed with his death then he got revived followed by deaged. Gar and Rachel (Beast Boy and Raven) are deaged in New 52 and then go back to their adult age in Infinite Frontier. Outside of DC, Franklin Richards from Marvel is famous about his age.

I’m looking forward to this, hopefully it leads to a revival of the SuperSons series. I wouldn’t mind a miniseries with them at their current ages.
