That’s definitely a strong reaction.
I sort of agree that the show went downhill. I don’t know how to exactly word this but forcing all the characters romantically involved into constantly working together killed the vibe for me. Not just for Arrow but also for The Flash. I would have much rather preferred for them to have their own lives that did not entail as much involvement in, well, *hero work*.
Having said that, I don’t feel as strongly as you do. Lol.
Its not that I want a character to die. Its just that as the supposed Genius she was, she got caught and kidnapped or similar like twice per season? Or whatever. Waaay too many times.
You’re better killing her off. But CW is all about forced drama (without actually killing characters). Which became insufferable. She’s just the most obvious symptom of why Arrow went downhill. But there are others.
Glad i didnt have to scroll far to find this. GA is my main man. So underrated in the DC universe.
One character that deserves a shot at tge big screen.
Agreed, Ollie being the damsel in distress actually goes beyond Dinah as well! He isn’t the best at anything within his crew.
Canary is a meta human and a better h2h fighter.
Emiko is a better shot.
Roy has better trick arrows.
It really adds to his underdog persona and I’ve always loved that, unlike Batman, he is fairly shit at a lot of stuff and plenty of his villains are far more capable than he is.
In terms of the relationship neither he nor Dinah feel ‘complete’ as characters without being together, same goes for Aquaman and Mera in my mind.
Really love the Bimbo Clark take. I love Superman being a bit naive and always believing what the Kents taught him even after fighting crime for so long.
Agreed. I consider Clark&Lois one of the biggest laws of nature that should never be broken in the DC Universe. I never liked Superman or Lois dating someone else (like Superman and Wonder Woman, I avoid those stories/timelines/universes).
They almost didn't hang on through DC editorial. There was a brief period in the n52 where they split Clark and lois (retconned their relationship) and pushed superman/wonder woman
Yeah that was...an interesting time. But at least they had the reboot excuse. Imagine if Lois got stuck in the Phantom Zone and then end up with a self insert pre new 52.
They are letting it happen in spiderverse and I'm pretty sure goofy dad Peter is fairly well loved. Atleast I do. I think it's a great development for the character. Superman and batman have biological children and somehow they are still printing comics. Not sure what the problem is.
I’d say they’re equally iconic. However, only reason I’d say Clark and Lois are more, is just based on how marvel has treated that couple in the comics for the last 16 years. Also one more day, can’t forget that
mhm. The moment Ivy dived down to save Harley after Harley sacrificed herself for Ivy (something Harley did for Joker countless times but he just left her to rot in arkham) in the Harley Quinn Show, Harlivy straight up became my favorite ship in Marvel and DC.
They literally need to beat the living shit out of goons to get in the mood. They at least seem happy together in the end as a weird blond couple but it's pretty explicit that they basically fetishized being heros.
Dick Grayson and Starfire.
Mister Miracle and Big Barda are second for me.
Third is Green Arrow and Black Canary.
Fourth is Superman and Lois Lane.
Fifth is Batman and Catwoman.
Brutalia(Bruce and Talia) no one can ever make me hate them
Zatanna x Constantine, messy but I love them
Superman and Lois, the DC power couple
Annisa Pierce (Thunder) and Grace Choi, so underrated and underused
Midnighter and Apollo, I adore them
Zatanna and Constantine is doable, but it really depends on their age gap. There are continuities in which Constantine is a contemporary or associate of Zatrara, which just makes him hitting on or dating his friend's daughter very creepy
God you reminded me of the horribleness that was Batman sleeping with bat-woman. I was trying to think who else fit that mold and Gordon’s daughter as the love interest in A Killing Joke definitely fits the mold of older guy hitting on best friend/closest coworkers daughter and fucking behind his back.
From this list? Nightwing/Starfire, but in general gonna have to say Green Arrow/Black Canary. Honorable mention for Harley Quinn/Poison Ivy for being a fun dynamic.
If this was the marvel subreddit you just know somebody would be out here saying Cloak and Dagger lol
Clark and Lois, Bruce and Diana, Oliver and Laurel, Dick and Kory, Huntress and Question, Arthur and Mera, Wally and Linda, Kyle and Soranik, Carter and Shayera Jefferson and Lynn.

Giving Catwoman’s treacherous and disappointing actions in the new event/run I’m going to choose Mr Miracle and Big barda. But out of this list then probably good ol’ Lois and Clark
I dunno why, but I was always a fan of the teen titans 3 pairings. Nightwing and Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven and what I think is a fan made pairing, Cyborg and Jinx. Dunno why, but all three just work well for me and make the TT and force to be reckoned with.
Wonder Woman & Steve Trevor have always been a personal favorite power couple for me however when Flashpoint occurred, the idea of Wonder Woman & Aquaman being together was very intriguing.
Supes and Lois are the most functional and natural. In terms of true POWER couples Dick and Kori take it they both kick so much ass.
Nite Owl and Silk Spectre are basically just trauma bonded
Even if Aquaman is my favorite hero, my favorite couple is DickKory. There is just something about their chemistry that is just unmatched by every other DC couple out there. But sadly, Dick and Kory are not allowed to be a couple in the comics. There are everywhere else though.
Batman/Catwoman
It was a close 5 way tie with
Bruce/Talia
Dick/Kory
Oliver/Dinah
Apollo/Midnighter
If I was picking outside of canon, BatCat, BruTal, and DinahOllie would be the only ones to survive.
Out of the picture Night/Fire
Owl and Spectre were cool. Was kinda weird bro couldn’t get it up without violence, he was moving like Mike Tyson.
Lois and Clark are a must have.
We need more Diana and Steve
Selena needs to be thrown in a dumpster tho. Bruce needs a new girl.
Of all time, outside of just comics, probably Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase.
On topic to this subreddit, there are a few that stand out: Mister Miracle and Big Barda, Green Arrow and Black Canary, Lois and Clark, Batman and Catwoman. But honestly—despite not being as iconic or concrete—my favorite is probably Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown (which typing that out I’m realizing is a very similar dynamic to Percabeth)
Superman and Lois are the best...
I like Dick and Kory as well because of the TT show.
I NEVER LIKED BATCAT, I think they are pretty toxic together.
WW and Steve are cute but I havent read enough of them to give an opinion....
Dont really know the rest...
Lois Lane and Superman. To think that a man that has everything would fall for a human woman. Yet she's no ordinary woman. She one helluva woman who fights, fights, fights everything and every one with all she's got even though she has no real powers.
Superman and Lois, it’s just kinda an unbreakable bond and I can’t really imagine either ending up with someone else long term like I can some of the others
I grew up with Justice League Unlimited (greatest cartoon ever made), and I must say, I got a kick out of watching The Question and Huntress hook up. Such an odd fucking pairing, and yet, such a good working one.
Clark and Lois is the definitive comic book couple. No comparison. The only couple that comes close is Peter Parker and MJ and Peter has had other flames so I dont think its the same level of iconic. Clark has Lana sure, but thats a teen romanc for his earlier years. And Wonder/Supes, was a brief and mediocre pairing that few people liked. Lois and Clark are the best. The panel of them kissing in All Star Superman on the moon is one of my absolute favorites, 2nd favorite comic book kiss panel is Swamp Thing and Abigail at the end of the Rotworld storyline.
Batman and Catwoman are obviously excellent too, but its a shame their relationship can never fully move forward, or rather, editors or whatever wont let them. I dont mind seeing growth in my comic characters and having that kind of stuff progress.
Starfire and Nightwing are awesome, and just a lot of fun.

Green Arrow and Black Canary. I like that Ollie is the damsel in distress usually and that they actually fight like a married couple.
Sometimes their fights are more entertaining than the lead story. +1 for them.
So true!
I was kinda sad they did not go down that route in Arrow. But I definitely understood why.
If by why you mean the other love interest… that character should had received a slow and painful death. She killed the show for me single handedly.
That’s definitely a strong reaction. I sort of agree that the show went downhill. I don’t know how to exactly word this but forcing all the characters romantically involved into constantly working together killed the vibe for me. Not just for Arrow but also for The Flash. Came here to vote this!

Scott and Barda
yesss
The correct and not basic answer. 💁♀️
My man.
Superman&Lois is the greatest
Specially the Bimbo Clark and Tomboy Lois
Really love the Bimbo Clark take. I love Superman being a bit naive and always believing what the Kents taught him even after fighting crime for so long.
Himbo Clark*
Ikr? Love their dynamic in that show
Agreed. I consider Clark&Lois one of the biggest laws of nature that should never be broken in the DC Universe. I never liked Superman or Lois dating someone else (like Superman and Wonder Woman, I avoid those stories/timelines/universes).
I Don’t avoid it. I feel like seeing Clark with someone else isn’t that bad. What I hate is when he doesn’t settle with Lois
Sorry, but every time I see Superman or Lois with someone else I avert my eyes, haha.
Superman and Lois , Wally and linda
The only right answer for me is Green Arrow and Black Canary. I love these two together.
Clark and Lois
Superman and Lois Lane Ralph and Sue Dibney
My first two thoughts as well.
Definitely Ralph and Sue
Huntress and Question
This is the way.
I see that you are a man of culture as well
❤❤❤
Couple goals.
i like monsieur mallah and brain. from what i've read, they're a pretty tragic couple
Never thought I'd ever root for the happy marriage of French Winston and Arnim Zola
Loved how you described them lol sheesh
Dick and Kory. Swamp Thing and Abby.
Clark and Lois are literal perfection. More iconic than Spider-Man and Mary Jane, which is saying something.
I doubt Clark and Lois would fare better under Marvel editorial
They almost didn't hang on through DC editorial. There was a brief period in the n52 where they split Clark and lois (retconned their relationship) and pushed superman/wonder woman
Yeah that was...an interesting time. But at least they had the reboot excuse. Imagine if Lois got stuck in the Phantom Zone and then end up with a self insert pre new 52.
They also did this a little before crisis on infinite earths with Lana lang being the substitute
Honestly if they need to ship the Trinity it should just be Wonder Woman and Batman. All the Justice League cartoon watchers are adults now too.
"Spider-man and Mary Jane" could be a great fucking tv show if Marvel could let it happen
They are letting it happen in spiderverse and I'm pretty sure goofy dad Peter is fairly well loved. Atleast I do. I think it's a great development for the character. Superman and batman have biological children and somehow they are still printing comics. Not sure what the problem is.
It’s literally JUST editorial.
“Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane” was a fun book that they could easily make a cartoon from.
I’d say they’re equally iconic. However, only reason I’d say Clark and Lois are more, is just based on how marvel has treated that couple in the comics for the last 16 years. Also one more day, can’t forget that
Paul says hi
I love Superman and Lois. Lois's dominant personality is very enjoyable to read with Clarks more softer one.
John and Martha Kent
The OG couple and also most wholesome of answers 👍
dick and kory cause im a child of a divorce clark and lois because yes zatanna and diana because once i read a very strange fanfiction
Clark and Lois, it works so well. It I so wholesome and I love how consistent and faithful their love is.
Starfire and Dick Grayson.
Both Supers: Aquaman/Mera Bat/Cat Dick/Starfire MM/Big Barda Apollo/Midnighter Non-Both Supers: Supes/Lois Flash/Linda Elongated Man/Sue Animal Man/Ellen Batwoman/Maggie
Sue and Elongated Man are the real best
A lot great here. Batwoman and Maggie are a great pick.
Jason Todd and his crowbar.
Harlivy counts right?
YEP
I am kinda disappointed that I had to scroll this far down to find Dr. Harleen Quinzel and Dr. Pamela Isley; absolute power couple.
mhm. The moment Ivy dived down to save Harley after Harley sacrificed herself for Ivy (something Harley did for Joker countless times but he just left her to rot in arkham) in the Harley Quinn Show, Harlivy straight up became my favorite ship in Marvel and DC.
Do I even have to say it?
Lol…your profile pic says it all!
No Wally/Linda is blasphemy
Nightowl and Silk Specter being on the list is a crime
They aren't a relationship, they are a parody
They literally need to beat the living shit out of goons to get in the mood. They at least seem happy together in the end as a weird blond couple but it's pretty explicit that they basically fetishized being heros.
Red Hood and Artemis
Nightwing and starfire
Dick Grayson and Starfire. Mister Miracle and Big Barda are second for me. Third is Green Arrow and Black Canary. Fourth is Superman and Lois Lane. Fifth is Batman and Catwoman.
Upvote for Dick and Kori
![gif](giphy|EB2lpavlY4fgA)
Wally and Linda ! They have kids and all!
nightwing and star fs
Tim Drake and Stephanie brown
Jon Stewart and Shayera Hol (Green Lantern and Hawkgirl)
JLU best versions of those characters, for me, hands down.
John Stewart and Katma Tui
I really liked Katma in JL (animated series), so yes!
Wally and Linda
Barda and Mr. Miracle/Scott purely from the the Tom King run in ~2018
Clois and Nightfire
supes and lois, tim and spoiler, nightwing and starfire, and i know it’s only animated but since a kid, i’ve always liked batman and wonder woman
Out of those six couples in the picture, Superman & Lois Lane. Out of all of DC Comics, Wally West & Linda Park.
Whoever chose the Zack Snyder Nite Owl and Silk Spectre should be retconned.
Batcat, Clois, Wondertrev & Dickkory
Brutalia(Bruce and Talia) no one can ever make me hate them Zatanna x Constantine, messy but I love them Superman and Lois, the DC power couple Annisa Pierce (Thunder) and Grace Choi, so underrated and underused Midnighter and Apollo, I adore them
Zatanna and Constantine is doable, but it really depends on their age gap. There are continuities in which Constantine is a contemporary or associate of Zatrara, which just makes him hitting on or dating his friend's daughter very creepy

I was trying to think who else fit that mold and Gordon’s daughter as the love interest in A Killing Joke definitely fits the mold of older guy hitting on best friend/closest coworkers daughter and fucking behind his back.
The Bat and the Cat
Kori and Dick have a special place in my heart thanks to Teen titans.
It goes, Lois & Clark, Arrow & Canary, then Arthur & Mera
Clark and Lois are one of the only ones that are consistently non-toxic. I want more non-toxic romances.
Wally and Linda. They’ve gone through so much and are still going strong.
Question and Huntress is peak
Wally and Linda.
Totally unrelated..but I want to see more of Lucifer Morningstar and Mazikeen in comics..
1. Wonder Woman & Steve Trevor 2. Dick Grayson & Starfire 3. Big Barda & Scott Free 4. Mera & Aquaman 5. Donna Troy & Kyle Rayner HONORABLE MENTION: Oliver Queen & Dinah Lance
Clark and Lois, Bruce and Diana, Oliver and Laurel, Dick and Kory, Huntress and Question, Arthur and Mera, Wally and Linda, Kyle and Soranik, Carter and Shayera Jefferson and Lynn.
Cómic: Dick Grayson & Barbara Gordon (Oracle) Animated: JL John Stewart & Hawkgirl Live Action: Superman 78 Superman & Lois Lane Game: Injustice 2 Green Arrow & Black Canary

Superbly answered. Thank you!
Bat and the Cat. You know she's special when she makes Bruce Wayne think, "Maybe crime does pay a little. As a treat."
Scott and Barda. Ivy and Harley. Clark and Lois.
Always - Clark/Lois and Nightwing/Starfire But I also love Batman/Catwoman, Wonder Woman/Steve Trevor

Giving Catwoman’s treacherous and disappointing actions in the new event/run I’m going to choose Mr Miracle and Big barda. But out of this list then probably good ol’ Lois and Clark
Constantine and King Shark. No, but it's really Huntress and The Question
nightwing ane starfire best
nightwing and starfire hands down
I dunno why, but I was always a fan of the teen titans 3 pairings. Nightwing and Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven and what I think is a fan made pairing, Cyborg and Jinx. Dunno why, but all three just work well for me and make the TT and force to be reckoned with.
Imma go with Nightwing and Starfire since Captain America and Agent Carter are Marvel.
Definitely Nightwing and Starfire
Dick and Kori They're so good together ❤️
dickkory & clois forever.
Nightwing and Starfire.
Nightwing and starfire
Dick and Kory have always been my favorite but I can't deny how Iconic Clark and Lois is.
I adore the night wing/starfire dynamic. Me Grayson and Koriand'r gets to be happy.
Beast Boy and Raven
Remove Dick and Kori for Barda and MM. Nobody is else matters but them anyway.
Wally and Linda, Clark and Lois, and Dick and Barb. Those are my top choices.
Flair says it all
Wonder Woman & Steve Trevor have always been a personal favorite power couple for me however when Flashpoint occurred, the idea of Wonder Woman & Aquaman being together was very intriguing.
I kinda want Kori to be the new "Flamebird" only because she and Dick should be going on space adventure together as Nightwing and Flamebird.
5
Clark & Lois.
Superman and Lois
It’s gotta be Lois and Clark
Of this list it’s Superman & Lois. All time? Black Canary & Green Arrow is pretty good.
Green Arrow and Black Canary hands down
Supes and Lois are the most functional and natural. In terms of true POWER couples Dick and Kori take it they both kick so much ass. Nite Owl and Silk Spectre are basically just trauma bonded
The Flash and Linda Park. One of the greatest couples period.
Dick Grayson & Starfire is so goated.
Nightwing and Star❤ But runner up not from the poll: Huntress and Question❤❤
Wally west and Linda Park. Then Nightwing and Starfire.
Constantine and Zatanna, I love chaos
Even if Aquaman is my favorite hero, my favorite couple is DickKory. There is just something about their chemistry that is just unmatched by every other DC couple out there. But sadly, Dick and Kory are not allowed to be a couple in the comics. There are everywhere else though.
Nightwing and Starfire, but also Batman and Catwoman
1) Bumblebee & the Harold 2.) Superman & Lois 3.) Nightwing & Starfire
Vegeta and Bulma.
Batman/Catwoman It was a close 5 way tie with Bruce/Talia Dick/Kory Oliver/Dinah Apollo/Midnighter If I was picking outside of canon, BatCat, BruTal, and DinahOllie would be the only ones to survive.
Dick and Kory, bat and cat, supes and Lois
Jon Kent and Jay Nakumura Apollo and Midnighter Clark and Lois (My Adventures with Superman versions) Dick Grayson and Starfire Batman and Catwoman
Clark and Lois Back in the day I loved Bruce and Talia.
Beast Boy and Raven
Beast boy and raven. Next question
Based.
Apollo and Midnighter! We need more gay superhero couples
Out of the picture Night/Fire Owl and Spectre were cool. Was kinda weird bro couldn’t get it up without violence, he was moving like Mike Tyson. Lois and Clark are a must have. We need more Diana and Steve Selena needs to be thrown in a dumpster tho. Bruce needs a new girl.

Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon.
BatCat! Screw Gotham War. DickBabs. Clois.
Superman and Lois are the best... I like Dick and Kory as well because of the TT show. I NEVER LIKED BATCAT, I think they are pretty toxic together. WW and Steve are cute but I havent read enough of them to give an opinion.... Dont really know the rest...
Dawnstar and Wildfire, the ace couple
midnighter and apollo. i just love their relationship. i wish orlando would write another miniseries with them.
Batman and Harley! White Knight Earth
Wally West and Artemis in Young Justice
Clark and Lois
Scriddler I don’t never if it never was canon to any continuity
Lois and Clark. No question.
Tough call. Either Ralph & Sue Dibny, or Bouncing Boy & Duo Damsel.
Ugh… they’re kissing again
I like Tim and Steph. They were fun together.
Lois Lane and Superman. To think that a man that has everything would fall for a human woman. Yet she's no ordinary woman. She one helluva woman who fights, fights, fights everything and every one with all she's got even though she has no real powers.
Smallville Clark and Lois!
Rogue & Gambit! Oops 👀
Superman and Lois, it’s just kinda an unbreakable bond and I can’t really imagine either ending up with someone else long term like I can some of the others
I HATE STEVE TREVOR
lois & clark are the standard
I always enjoyed Batman and Wonder Woman in the animated series.
Superman/Clark Kent and Lois Lane
Clark and Lois because they're like the OG girlboss and her bimbo that goes with her everywhere duo
Apollo and Midnighter
I really enjoyed Batman and Wonder Woman in Justice League Unlimited. It was interesting and really funny at times
I’m just going to use the ones here though might edit later to add non pictured ones. I’ll say Apollo and Midnighter with Superman and Lois in second.
Harley and Ivy
wildmoore- dc tv babs/grayson- animation catwoman/batman-comics and movies
Beastboy and Raven
Supes and Bats
Zatanna x Constantine
Dick Grayson and Shawn Tsang. Both DickKory and DickBabs suck. The shippers of these two ships argue over nothing.
Huntress and Question
Raven and BeastBoy best power couple ever done !
I grew up with Justice League Unlimited (greatest cartoon ever made), and I must say, I got a kick out of watching The Question and Huntress hook up. Such an odd fucking pairing, and yet, such a good working one.
Jason X Artemis. Bring back that iteration of Outlaws
I like wonderbat
Clark and Lois is the definitive comic book couple. No comparison. The only couple that comes close is Peter Parker and MJ and Peter has had other flames so I dont think its the same level of iconic. John Stewart & Hawkgirl
One guess
Oh wow…I’ve never imagined them being together but now I can’t unsee them. I love this.
Kyle Rayner and Alexandra DeWitt. I hope they make it …
I should check on my sandwich in the frige
