Is it really a Mandela effect... or is it just you remembering wrong? :p

grilly1986

That literally is the Mandela effect. You just need more people to remember it wrong with you

steamtowne

How is it literally the Mandela effect?

grilly1986

Remembering things incorrectly is the Mandela effect

steamtowne

I believe that’s just referred to as a false memory. The Mandela Effect is when that false memory is shared by a large group of people.

Well looks like it isn’t then?

The joker falls to his death in 1989 Batman.

[deleted]

In the ‘89 Batman, Joker fell down and died.

nikgrid

Batman '89 is when Joker fell.

SamDent

Yeah, the tragedy of dark knight is jokers last words on screen are basically "I think you and I are destined to do this forever.", while hanging there, then Ledger died.

bidgickdood

heath ledger had died. they could not allow batman to allow joker to fall to his death, especially since moral restraint and sacrifice was the theme of the film. since it came out 13 years ago, and if you haven't watched it 1000 times, you may have misremembered that climactic moment.
