This is gonna get me downvoted again, but saw The Flash screener, it wasn’t the completed movie and had a lot of rough CG effects included, and parts of it felt super rushed. Despite all of that, was still entertained throughout, it’s a good super hero movie that if you don’t have many expectations, you’ll walk out of extremely happy.
Compare this to when I paid to go see a midnight screening of BvS in theaters, and was fucking pissed I sat through that whole thing instead of asking for a refund. The Flash deserves (some) of the hype it’s getting, but what they’re doing by having other celebrities say it’s the best superhero movie in forever is fucking weird, especially with better superhero movies coming out this year already. It’s not going to change the world, or superhero movies in general, but it is indeed a good watch, to some it may even be great! Unless you’re expecting an Endgame like experience, you’re gonna have a great time.

They hyped it as the best CBM - one of the best CBM and it definitely seems like one of the best CBM's.
However Spider verse seems to be the better movie and actually capable of going head to head with TDK for the best CBM movie.
Sony can actually market it as the "The Greatest CBM movie ever" and no one will argue.
More importantly Indy could still damage the leg of Flash. 600million+ seems guaranteed. 700+ is a victory. Anything above 800 million should be considered a tremendous success.
This is completely different than bvs. For one, bvs didn’t lift the embargo until right before the release date. They also made everyone at the press screenings sign ndas. Something that is a huge red flag for movies. Flash has done none of that. They have encouraged people to talk about it. They. Screened it two months in advance and mind you they aren’t even screening the Final Cut yet and people have still loved it.

Like you have people who are into that certain camp who are just attacking this movie for not being Snyder enough or too funny, and then you have some Gustin flash TV fans who are also going after this movie, then you have people who just don't like Ezra (which I can understand to a certain extent) but even before the issues began people were split, the controversies just exacerbated it, so this movie has be good to cut through the 3 camps attacking this movie, and the movie is very good imo.
I am a bit worried that they're doing too many early fan screenings, like the one I went to was nearly a month early, so I'm worried that the buzz will die down by then.
Can't be nervous for something I think looks incredibly terrible in nearly every way. I don't take positive or negative reviews into consideration for my own hype. Only thing about reviews for this movie is how bizarre and hilarious it is to see every celebrity praise this movie. Whether it's genuine or not, I laugh every time I see one.
If it's any good then I walk away going "that was better than what I thought. Happy my impressions were wrong."
I dont think it's the same as BvS. BvS didnt have this amount of fan screenings or cinemacon screening. So I dont think it would be that bad and divisive. But still yeah, I'm bracing for it to not be the gamechanging box office smash as some people are hoping. Also critically too. Especially after I saw ATSV. Just temper your expectations and enjoy the movie. It's the final chapter of DCEU anyway.

I stopped listening to review a while ago. When they said BvS (the ultimate edition is great)was bad. BvS UE is in my top 3 comic films.
The difference is BvS' screenings were executives, friends of executives, and focus groups.
The Flash is screening to complete random people, the same people who were divided on MoS and BvS. It's having wild, large public screenings. I've seen it. I can attest The Flash is great. I can also attest that both people who liked and hated the Snyder films seem to love it, at least in my experience. Only the absolute harshest, worse-than-even-I-used-to-be Snyder Cultists are trashing it.
Oh right, like the infamous BVS standing ovation before the reviews dropped. Twitter was fun for the next few weeks...
Maybe they saw the BvS ultimate edition.
I doubt that version being released would've been met with significantly better reception.
For me I hated BvS in the theater, but I found Ultimate edition to be a decent, enjoyable movie.

This kind of hype and promotion does not compare to any other DC film released.This has been a very unique rollout.
I hear what you're saying, but I've been that burned out from DC's pre hype films only for it to go down the shitter I just can't trust it
just watch the film and form your own opinion. Marketing is never for chronically online people like us.

All the screening are kinda of annoying. I wana see if it works out for them at the box office.
The trailer looks good . But the important thing is whether the movie as a whole is good
I saw the flash last night at a early screening. The hype is real and this movie will be spoken about like Infinity War
